I could not possibly overstate or exaggerate what a great shop this is, or my support & appreciation!I've never had such great care & service from a shop before.Despite my vehicle being a real pain in the butt. They were so friendly & helpful and explained everything that was being done & needs to be done.I was recommended by a well-trusted friend and I honestly could not be more satisfied & pleased!Outstanding, thorough work, fair prices and top notch customer service!

Fred really knows vintage cars, especially VWs. I needed some machine work while in the middle of rebuilding my Bug front end. He took my parts and had the work done on one day. Price was great too. Very friendly and helpful to the vintage guys. The only place I would take my VWs.

Brought my car here for a new motor install. The install was botched and the car has not run correctly since I received the car back. I tried to bring the issues to Freddie s attention but they were never addressed.

Fred the Motorhead. Yup that's the owners name. That should give you some sense of what to find in this shop. Fred and his crew are well versed most all auto and motorcycle repairs. They shine though in their knowledge of slightly rare to obscure import classics. If you have a conundrum, Fred is pretty good at finding a solution. He has been in his Edgewater shop for decades and has a network of tech/mech friends and associates through out the area which I feel gives him an advantage at problem solving. A man full of character and candor. If you got a unique ride that needs some love start with the Motorhead.

I have used Fred for years and he has been a wealth of knowledge, he truly is a Mechanics Mechanic. I hold a degree in automotive technology from back in the 70's and Fred has what it takes to tackle any really difficult diagnostic and repair. He is also easy to talk to and will take time to explain the problem, cause and cost in detail. He seems to love the older cars and has apparently quite a few customers who bring their classic cars to be worked on. He specializes in old VW's and the VW Van's, but I think he is really very qualified for any repair. He has helped me with several problems with my Mercedes Benz E420 (1997) and my old 735IL BMW (1991)

1st took my vehicle to him because it was leaking oil, was told by Fred it was the header gasket. So he replaced that, drove vehicle home and still leaking oil. He tells me to use a engine cleaner on it that it could be some left over oil. So I did, still leaking. Took back to him and he says it s the rear main seal now. So he fixes it and I drive vehicle home, still leaking.Call Fred, he says bring it back down and I ll take a look. He proceeds to tell me I have overfilled the oil and it was my fault that it is now leaking from the rear main seal again. Meanwhile, I have only put less than 200 miles on vehicle since he originally started working on it. I told him I have never put anything in this jeep besides two tanks of gas. Needless to say Vehicle is still leaking and he won t return my phone calls.Do not recommend him!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Fred is an excellent mechanic and the customer service is great. It's not everyday you meet a mechanic that knows so much but can still be down to earth.i saved a lot of money as compared to going to the Mercedes Benz dealership.

Fred replaced my clutch, stopped an oil leak and ton of other things on my bus. Highly recommend.

I have a car that Fred ( Moterhead) the mechanic fixes when it brakes down occasionally from wear and tear - He always figures out whats wrong with the car and how to fix the car right - His candid demeanor and honest approach to the cars problems is refreshing and in today's auto mechanic world its important to have a guy you can trust - He is Trustworthy - translation : You wont get sold a bogus job or parts etc... Honest guy honest repairs a blessing to all who know the guy 5 out of 5 stars I highly recommend this guy ! If you want it done right without worrying you're getting suckered Annaptown Import Serivces is the gospel .

Brought my C230 k sport sedan and Fred The Mot�rhead Rocks. Having been in and around mechanics my whole life, I can't say enough about Naptown , if you want top shelf work at real world prices go here !Oh, as an additional bonus....they are just really great people !

Absolutely amazing level of effort and service. You can go anywhere to service your car but only to Annapolis Import Service for quality and value in my opinion.

Love this place and Fred is the only person I let near my car, because when I need a mechanic, this is the only place I'll take my car.
