Just wanted to take the time to shout out Quimby marine in Easton,MD its so good to know that business owners like them still exist. I was in a real bind with my boat trailer today and they were about to close. Not only did they wait for me to get there just as they were closing one of there mechanics( didn't catch his name) took the time to fix two of my trailer rollers after hours!!!!!! Thank God for them they were truly a blessing today!!!!! If you need parts or motor work they are the place to go!!!

Allen Emerson, the owner of Quimby's Marine, is hands down the best mechanic I have ever known and one of the nicest guys I have ever met. Quimby's is a family business and is just like him: Excellent quality and customer service, friendly, competent and reasonably priced products and services. Nobody else comes close (I wish more did!).

We bought a small boat (18 ft outboard) from Quimby's 4 years ago and have stored and serviced it with them since. This is wonderfully run family business. They do excellent work, they're exceptionally responsive, and great folks.

The people at Quimby s were so incredibly helpful over the phone. We had an issue with overheating and melting off one of our pulleys, and they went above and beyond to make sure they had the right part for us. Highly recommend!

This is somewhat of a throwback to the 1970's unaffected by changing times. This is a compliment since you are dealing with people that really know their business. I had repair work done at what might be a fairly high price but have no basis for comparison. The items that they sell seem to carry the same (high) prices that you'd find at a typical marina.

I would absolutely NOT recommend this shop to anyone. Terrible customer service, over priced work. Granted it was in the summer but a simple job took them 5 weeks to complete. At the time of pick up the work was poor quality at best. I ended up spending two days cleaning up the work they had done. I m sure this place used to be a good shop but they simply don t have the capacity to complete quality work in a reasonable time.

worst experience in the world new boat got bottom painted 1700.00 never prepped it right no sanding etc water line off by 4 inchs the only thing that would make it better would be a refund lol on that plus it was scheduled then all of a sudden supper busy got it 2 weeks later rushed and extra poor quality
