The owner, Steve, is just a great guy, not what most expect from a "used car salesman", just put that image out of your head.Given that the used automobile market is so bleak right now Ceylon still manages to have a decent selection of clean vehicles to look at. I just bought a 2013 Subaru Forester this morning, like 2 hours ago, so far, great car.Steve and his assistant were very nice and helpful.Ceylon deserves your business and time.Thanks Steve.

Do NOT buy a car from Steve without getting it fully checked out by a mechanic. I was in a hurry, moving out of the area and needed a vehicle quickly. I bought a 2009 Honda CRV. It had issues right from the start (hard to start), but I was already on my way out of town. The ac didn't work. I called Steve and he assured me that he had replaced the compressor, so it was probably just needed more refrigerant. He lied. After having a mechanic spend 4 hours across 2 days of checking everything but the compressor (vacuum and replace the refrigerant, replace a relay, check the electrical) , it was found that the compressor was the issue! Steve shipped me a compressor (from Amazon) and told me that he would cover the installation. Around the same time, the battery died. Steve said he'd cover that. I sent the paid invoices for both. He said he'd send a check, I received a check after almost 3 weeks - for $250. Total cost of replacing the battery and compressor was just under $900. To top it all off, the brakes are starting to squeak. I reached out to him, but he didn't respond.

Don't trust this guy at all. I bought a Chevy cruze from him for 8000 in cash. And when I started driving it I noticed it was having hard times speeding up. I brought it to Steve's attention and he said it was normal for my car. So then a week car my car breaks down and he fixes a pipe and very month I would keep getting it fixed come to find out a year later he sold me a car with a bad water system and a bad transmission. Two years later that same car is still sitting in storage to be fixed for 5 grand. He is a scam some how he sold me a car with a transmission that was already broken because a mechanic told me the Transmission was broken for a very long time. Idk how it passed inspection. But he is definitely a scammer.Yeah and I asked if the Transmission was fine too and you said exactly " no its a used car it is normal for the car to jerk when shuftung gears." That is exactly what olyou said a week after I bought the car. Which wad a lie a car is not supposed to do that.

SPEECHLESS & HAPPY: When I left Ceylon Auto Traders, in the truck I had just purchased, I was speechless and VERY HAPPY! Steve (the owner), Debbie, Dudley, & Fred were all accommodating and sweet. The words that come to mind: HONEST and SINCERE. In my opinion, these nice folk are successful because they are honest, sincere, and do the right thing. Steve's goals are to get each vehicle well prepared BEFORE putting it on the market. He prices his vehicles FAIRLY. Also, I enjoyed a nice conversation with Steve and Debbie while waiting for my truck to return from inspection. Dudley, their mechanic, went above and beyond to help me with an issue. THEY ARE THE REAL DEAL!!!!

Steve at Ceylon Auto Traders is amazing! I bought my daughter's first car there and we had such a great experience. First, we got a great price for an amazing car (Honda Fit). Second, Steve was very easy to communicate with. Third, he was honest and truly wanted us to be happy with our purchase so he made sure the car was in tip top shape before we took it home. And fourth, he called us after our purchase just to check in and make sure everything was good. We signed our paperwork with Jim and her was professional, polite and helpful. Everything went smooth, our experience could not have been better!

Steve is the owner who is a wonderful and honest man. I bought two vehicles from him, a BMW 535xi and a Ford F150 truck in the past and I am very happy with the whole experience. My son and daughter both bought cars from Steve as well. Any time I have vehicle issues I still go to him to get them fixed or service at a very reasonable price. Steve goes out of his way to satisfy his customer. The manager Jim is also very knowledgeable and helpful. Without any reservation I would highly recommend to anyone to go talk to Steve if ever you are in the market for a reliable used vehicle at the right price.

Incredibly open, honest and thorough dealership. When I took one of their vehicle for a test drive and voiced a concern over a sound in the undercarriage, they took immediate action and lifted the vehicle up on the hydraulics to find the problem. I ended up buying a different vehicle from them, and Steve showed an incredible amount of integrity in following through on various promises and agreements he made, making it possible for me to buy a car with assurance. Unlike many other dealers who brush off buyer's concerns and make half-promises, Ceylon Auto has been the most honest dealership I've ever dealt with. Vehicles are priced fairly, and Ceylon makes sure you don't buy a problem car. They give their vehicles great care before selling them.

Steve was great to work with! Car was exactly as he describe and at a great price. I traveled over 1400 miles round trip to buy a car from him. He held it for us and worked with me on getting all of the paperwork I needed for my BMV seems how I was out of state.

Do not hesitate to buy a automobile from Ceylon auto traders. I highly recommend them . Steve the owner is a very nice man. Between the company I work for and myself we have purchased four vehicles from them . We have never had a minutes problem with any of them ..

Great, honest folks, very helpful, stayed late on a saturday to make sure I was good to drive all the way back to North Carolina with my truck. The truck was priced very good, and i appreciate Steve willing to help solve any questions I had.Would I drive all the way to Maryland from North Carolina to buy a vehicle here again? Yes.

I purchased a 2007 Toyota Camry from Ceylon in May of 2018. I discovered that the vehicle has a unusual high rate of oil consumption. After contacting Toyota I learned that there was a factory recall that included replacing all engine pistons and rings, but the time limit had been missed by the previous owner and my car was no longer eligible. I was DEVASTATED!!! I gave Ceylon a call and told them my story and they told me to bring my car in and they would do the engine rebuild with the world free of charge! WHO DOES THAT THESE DAYS? I'll tell you who, Ceylon does because they care! Personal thank you to Steve and Jim they are great guys. Thank you Ceylon for everything!

Very disappointing had a vehicle from them try to get a lien release man there on Saturday was very ignorant hung up the phone and did not want to help me I do not recommend buying a car from this place
