I've always heard good things about this dealership, and I wasn't disappointed during the process of my vehicle purchase. All of the employees are friendly and professional. Pat did a great job of helping us decide the right car for our needs and budget. He answered every question honestly and added helpful context when necessary. I highly recommend this place.

The dealership is clean and welcoming. The staff are friendly and helpful. It took a little long for my financing because of an error I made when I pre submitted my application, but they worked with me and I left with my new Subaru! Special shout out to Michelle and Nate! They were great!

Thomas Subaru's upfront price may not be the actual price. I went to buy this car and half way through the purchase they came back to tell me there was an error and the cost was $38,000. False advertising!! My family and I have bought a lot of cars there over the years! I'll never buy another car from Thomas Subaru!

My experience at Thomas Cumberland was great! I located a Subaru Crosstrek on car gurus and gave them a call. I spoke to a very welcoming woman on the phone and gave me the availability of the car and the vehicles details. Upon arrival to the dealership I was greeted by Patrick, they had the car waiting warmed up and ready for a test drive. The transaction was hassle free and I never felt pressured. Overall, it was a great experience and I will be back when i am considering another vehicle. Ask for Patrick!

My car sat on the lot for 5 days and the shop never looked at it. No one called me, no one communicated with me about my car.... nothing. Finally, I had it towed to another place. This took 6 hours to work out because no one could even find my car!! Two weeks later the shop called to thank me for having my car repaired at their shop and to give them a call if I had questions. I tried to call back on the number they called from and there was an automated message saying the number was not in service. What kind of a place is this?! NEVER again. ZERO stars!

I bought a Hyundai Palisade from this dealership and this was absolutely the best car buying experience ever. I felt welcomed the moment I started interacting with Wes(Wesley) and he was very transparent with everything. Usually everyone dreads buying a new car and if you are one of those people, you should definitely visit this dealership, and talk to Wes. No pushy sales tactics or unnecessary fluff, and upfront transparent pricing. I have recommended the dealership to all my friends already.

I recently brought my 2019 Kia Optima SX to Thomas Hyundai's service department, and I couldn't be more impressed. From the moment I walked in, Jaxon at the front desk was incredibly helpful, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. After a NIGHTMARE experience at Timbrook Kia down the road, the exceptional service at Thomas was like a breath of fresh air. They not only addressed all the issues with my car promptly and efficiently but also went above and beyond by washing it, leaving it looking immaculate and like I had a brand new car. I highly recommend Thomas Hyundai's service department for their top-notch service, friendly staff, and attention to detail. Shannon, the service manager, even personally called and emailed to make sure my service was top-notch and how I expected! They've definitely earned my trust and future business. I will recommend all my Kia friends to bring their Kia here for service and to avoid Timbrook Kia at all costs.

I went in for a routine oil change today and for some reason the counter person wasn't there and the two employees that do the oil change stepped up and got the customers taken care of. TJ and Michael were great! They were kind and apologetic! They are the best an should be recognized! As a bonus I was not charged! Great customer service!

We have been dealing with thomas years now. We have been getting newer hyundai santa fe's. We just purchased new 2024 Santfe from thomas.. We love it so much space and thirdrow seating. Nathan hoffman was great. Gave us options that were coming out. Other family members own santa fe also.

Thomas has the best staff around. I had a Kona in for service and Teresa Smith and the technician took care of everything with the powertrain warranty to get me the maximum for my trade in. They provided me a high quality loaner vehicle while my service determination was happening. This allowed Patrick Yoder, the best salesman ever, to find me exactly what I wanted and had it delivered for me. I am the proud new owner of a 2024 Hyundai Palisade XRT with the exact specifications I wanted.

Update: Location is now apparently unable to service Hyundai vehicles in a timely manner due to a tech shortage, scheduling 30+ days out to diagnose any issue with Hyundai-brand vehicles. With the next closest Hyundai dealership an hour away (Hagerstown), the ability of local Hyundai owners to repair their vehicles at an official dealership is now basically non-existent. Is it really "All About Y.O.U."?..apparently not!They damaged the splash shield on my vehicle when removing it for an oil change. When I called them on it they just ripped off the broken section and zip-tied the remaining shield back into place rather than replacing the relatively inexpensive part they damaged. After the next oil change they disposed of the cover completely and did not reattach. Anything to save a buck I guess!

Waited 3 hours just to get four tires mounted and balanced in the express service. As if that wasn't bad enough they added on $11 for miscellaneous items that they used, which they also wrote off as an expense for themselves.

While working with Zach I was able to understand the entire process and all the steps to ordering and then receiving my vehicle. He thoroughly explained everything and was very friendly. I highly recommend going to Zach if you are looking for someone to work with!

My husband and I had the best experience we have ever had buying a car. Everyone was friendly and there was no high intensity sales. They checked and reviewed the best financing and interest for our needs and kept us in our budget. We will definitely return to Thomas for all of our car buying needs.

My title work was all screwed up. Tried calling the sales woman two times and never received a response back. I had to go to the DMV myself and fix it all by myself. I still had to pay Thomas to do the paperwork, so I would not recommend them, as their service is not too good after the actual sale.

In a nutshell, Thomas Cumberland was one of the best experiences we have ever had buying a vehicle from a dealership. This was a gamble on our part since this dealership was a 150 miles from us, but they had a Palisade Calligraphy in the colors we wanted and couldn't find locally. So we took a chance and drove up early Saturday in a vehicle we hoped to trade in if the price was right.We were met at the door by Nate Hoffman, who stepped in when the other advisor we had talked too was busy with other clients. Nate quickly gathered the details of what we were looking for and set us up right away for a test drive. To speed up the process, while we were out on the test drive, he had our current vehicle evaluated for trade-in.When we got back, he already had quote ready, which exceeded what both CarMax and Carvana had quoted us. Needless to say, we were ecstatic with not having to drive two vehicles back home. Unlike other dealerships that pass you on from salesman to finance rep, Nate handled all the details for us. He got the paperwork together, ensured we understood all aspects of the process, explained additional options we had but did now try to pressure us into anything we didn't want.I must say, Thomas Cumberland had a very smooth process from arrival to departure. It's unfortunately they are so far away as they would have been my dealer of choice for future purchases. All in all, it was a great experience. Nate was excellent and this was truly a situation were we walked away feeling we got a great deal on a great car.To top it off, when we got home I realized we left a couple items in our trade-in. Thought the dealership was closed, I emailed Nate on Sunday figuring he get back to us Monday. I got reply shortly after sending and Nate said he would check Monday. Nate did find the items we mentioned and though I offered to pay to have it mailed back to us since I didn't expect them to pay for it, to my surprise he had the items shipped to us that same day and we received them the very next day. Talk about follow-up after the sale. Just one more feather in the cap of excellence for a great team at Thomas Cumberland.

Not the best experience for a number of reasons. Some need a crash training course so they don't keep giving you the wrong info and then backtracking on it. While others forget to ask for your $1,000.00 your putting down, even though it was written in and deducted from the contract. Signed , given keys and sent on my way. Lucky for them I'm an honest person. During the 3-4 days from test drive to signing I dealt with 2 salesmen and a manager and none could get it right.

I've purchased many vehicles over the years, and this was the best car buying experience I've ever had. The sales representative I worked with, Nate Hoffman, made the entire process very straightforward and easy. He provided information and answered all my questions promptly and clearly. I always felt comfortable working with Nate. He made sure the vehicle was clean and ready to go prior to my arrival at the dealership which helped to expedite the purchasing process. The facility is very clean and comfortable, and the people are welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend Thomas Cumberland Subaru Hyundai and sales representative Nate Hoffman to anyone!

I WOULD LEAVE A ZERO STAR REVIEW IF I COULD. DO NOT GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE, HECK I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND BUYING A CAR HERE AS YOU WOULD BE TEMPTED TO HAVE THEM SERVICE IT!I dropped my car off initially on February 9th, I received the vehicle back on March 9th and the engine they had put it in failed 598 miles and 9 days later. It took from March 18th til April 10th to get the car back. The engine bay was filthy even though they had just replaced the shortblock, and I even have a fresh new scratch on my A pillar on the passenger side.Upon coming to pick up the car I had to have it jumped just to leave the dealership. I drove directly to my fiances work to have lunch with her, turned car off once there but arrived early so I decided to turn the car back on for A/C; upon trying to restart the car I had ABSOLUTELY NO POWER to anything, same issue I had when picking the car up. I had to pop the hood and jiggle the negative battery cable to return power to the vehicle. This was all within 2 hours of picking my vehicle up from the dealership after waiting TWO MONTHS for my vehicle.I decided to drive immediately back to the dealership after having this issue. I was then essentially told by the service manager it was my problem. I pointed out the loose cable and was told I caused it. They said they would order a negative cable and have it in stock but they would not install it unless I had more issues.I was also told this time I needed to come back in for an oil change at 1000 miles as this was a new engine. While this is basic common practice, this was not even said last time and the sticker they put inside the car even called for 3000 which doesn't match break in oil change timing nor the book time on the vehicle for oil changes, further showing no care for their customers and only money.My car also has a recall on it that the Service Manager(Keith) did not tell me about when his Service Advisor(Eric) asked him about it. The Service Advisor had to be the one to tell me after that exchange that there was indeed an open recall on my car but they did not have the parts available. Eric Loibel(My Service Advisor for all of this) was extremely polite, professional, and amazing during this entire experience.I also asked before the Service Manager knew what had been done to my car what a reasonable turn around for a short block install was if it was on the shelf and he said TWO DAYS. I was informed both times they had the shortblock on the shelf, but for some odd reason do not stock the timing covers with the built in oil pump that is REQUIRED to replace when replacing a shortblock and had to wait on parts; BOTH TIMES.I am THOROUGHLY disappointed with this entire experience and will be calling Subaru of America's Customer Care line. If I have any further issues with this engine I WILL NOT return to Thomas Cumberland Subaru. This entire exchange has swayed me to now decide I will no longer purchase another Subaru. As an avid Subaru Fanatic of a decade, with 3 Subaru's I have personally purchased since my very first car being a Subaru and going to multiple Subaru based Festivals YEARLY I will not be purchasing another Subaru in my life after this.Oh, and my insurance paid nearly $10,000 for this "Service"

Recently bought a Chrysler Pacifica from Thomas in Cumberland. Had a very good experience with Zach who finished our sale and helped with figuring out the electronics in the vehicle also Zach made fresh tea for us which was nice and refreshing on the cold day it was. Jeremy who did financing was awesome and Patrick who started the sale over all very happy working with them. Also Mike who does there detailing did a phenomenal job on our vehicle as well

Hands down the best car buying experience ever! Jamie Kline was amazing! He was so helpful, knowledgeable, and took his time to explain the whole process. He made sure I understood the options in the car and the controls which was beyond anything I expected. Jeremy McFarland completed my financing for me and was so wonderful ! He explained my options and made the financing easier and less stressful than I had anticipated. I highly recommend Jamie and Jeremy and Thomas Hyundai/Subaru! I absolutely love my new to me car and am beyond impressed at the pleasant experience I had with both Jamie and Jeremy. Thomas Hyundai/ Subaru just got a new customer for life just because of those two.
