I called Sponaugle to pick up my Yukon at my house. They were responsive, prompt, efficient, used a rollback, charged my credit card & gave an electronic receipt. Reasonable rates. Good service.

I'm very, very impressed with Sponaugle Towing. Derek, the tow-truck driver, arrived quickly and was extremely professional.I've had poor experiences with other AAA tow providers in the past, I wish that they all could be like Derek from Sponaugle Towing. I was broken down 230 miles from home, and within an hour of calling AAA my vehicle was loaded on a flatbed and on it's way to my trusted hometown mechanic. I would, without a doubt, recommend Sponaugle Towing to a friend.Services: Car towing, Long distance hauling

On Christmas night heading home from DC to Northwest Ohio literally every gas station was darn near closed except the truck plazas. Well the gas I had in my car came 4 miles short from Cumberland. The gentleman who answered the phone for this company was very nice and pleasant and at this point of calling he was the 4th place I called. The first 2 places the guys literally laughed at me Said it would be almost 200 and almost an hr wait and perceived to laugh as they said its Christmas gotta make my money. When I got to the man who answered the phone he was pleasant nice and the cheapest out all the ones I called. $85 for the service and like $10 for the gas. He got to us in less than 45 mins and had us on our way in no time and was absolutely amazing. With 2 kids in the car. He was a life saver. Don't hesitate to call them if u need anything.

While driving home from Shenandoah to Ohio our van was stuck first by a deer out of nowhere and then by the car behind us. We were rattled, unsure of the next steps and distraught. As the car was undrivable we needed a tow and thankfully it was Sponaugle, and specifically Nick, that came to our rescue. He came and thought of us first, he cared what was going on with us, helped us understand what was happening and never rushed us or made us feel in his way. He went out of his way to get me to the car rental center, set my family up at a safe location while they waited and did everything in his power to turn one of our worst days into something we could handle. I will never forget how much that meant to us. Thanks you, I am grateful.

My 2013 Subaru outback transmission flooded out on a Monday evening. I called 5 different companies to tow my vehicle from Cumberland to Rockville , 115 Miles and all declined to haul and I was great to find him (6th time is the charm). He was punctual and had a price over the phone that I found reasonable. Very relatable and professional. Time went by fast. Sponaugle takes pride in their services and in their customers. I unfortunately got Tboned last month and my car was towed here. Their driver was very patient with us as we got all our items out of the car (and even when we dropped the key to the car we were driving and had to root around in the yard for it for a while) and they were very accommodating overall. I don't reccomend getting tboned, but I'm glad this company was the one to tow my mitsubishi

Used these guys yesterday. They were SUPER NICE and worked with me. Not from their area but needed to get our car towed from Flintstone back to Frederick. I have had this company tow my car a couple of times but it is been awhile. When my 2006 Ford Explorer would break down they were the ones who would come in and help out. I love working with them. They are very friendly and professional people and will treat you right. Their prices are more than fair and reasonable commensurate with the quality and quantity of the work they provide.

The owner and his wife are very understanding and professional. Even the workers are super nice to be around. You can't beat the prices and excellent customer service. I had a worker give a tip I gave to him straight to my children who were with me. He cared more about us having a better day and less worries than he did the tip. You won't find another company like this in Cumberland.

These guys are awesome! my son I were stuck on new years day they were professional, kind, and there service was a great value. Less then 200 and I was back on the road with a fixed tire and two. Brandon the driver was really nice and made sure my son fekt comfortable and safe. Thanks guys!

Sponaugle towed my vehicle from another towing company s impound lot to my house about 10 miles away. The driver (Bob) was courteous, friendly, timely and professional. At my house he spent a little extra time to carefully drop my vehicle in a good place, which was much appreciated. If you need towing services in the greater Cumberland, MD area then I highly recommend Sponaugle based on this positive experience.

I drove down to Cumberland from Pittsbugh for a bike ride on the trail. When I got back I accidentally locked my keys in my car. Sponaugle Towing responded within 20 minutes via Triple A and the guy was courteous and quick. This on the eve of a VERY busy holiday weekend! Great experience that saved my butt after a long day!

BEST TOWING EXPERIENCE EVER OMG, these guys are truly the BEST On a trip back from Cumberland, MD my car would not restart. I contacted AAA, and they recommended and sent out Sponaugle Towing. The AAA representative advised the driver would arrive within an hour. Fortunately in 90� weather, No waiting required, the truck was there in 10 minutes. I was met by the owner of the trucking company. NICEST guy ever. The tow truck was brand-new, leather interior, sparkling clean, dash cam, Smelled fabulous, everything you would expect if you were picked up by a chauffeur driving a Mercedes- Not a tow truck. Gorgeous.Anyways, the driver was EXCEPTIONALLY COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL, and a SUPERB conversationalist ( he had no choice, I talked his ear off). Lol!! Additionally, He diagnosed my car, told me what it should approximately cost to be repaired. Being a young woman (knowing nothing about car repair and pricing), walking alone into a new auto mechanic can be quite discerning, and could possibly be taken advantage of. The driver made me more comfortable-- he walked me into the building, and told the gentleman at the front desk what he believed The problem was with my car. Can you say, "over and above the call of duty?" What a great guy Lastly, he went out of his way to drive me from the mechanic to my house. I am so impressed with Sponaugle towing Out of what was an otherwise very stressful situation came a wonderful interaction with the team at Sponaugle towing. I could not recommend this company more highly.

Sponaugle Towing was everything I could hope for in a breakdown situation. After I contacted my towing service for routing, I got an immediate call back from Danny confirming the tow, my location, and that I was in a safe place. He arrived when he said he would. He was prompt, polite, careful, and professional. He asked the right questions and made the right statements.Even though I was out of my home territory, Danny was familiar with the roads and drove smoothly without ever touching his phone or tablet. The truck cab was clean and comfortable and did not smell at all (no smoke or oil). When we arrived at the destination repair shop - after midnight - he let my car down as gently and precisely as though I'd parked it myself. Additionally, he offered to stay with me until my ride arrived.While I hope to never need that kind of rescue again, I can say five/five stars, two thumbs up, would definitely buy again.

Broke down on the side of 68 outside of Cumberland. Driver showed up promptly with the flatbed and was super helpful. Had a good ride and good conversation all the way into Oakland, MD. Driver went above and beyond to help find a service station. Would definitely recommend this service provider.

This Towing company is Amazing. We needed a tow of our van and boat and originally we called a different company and they wanted $250 just for the van and trying to act like our 15ft boat would be extra money when We knew they could tow the both together. So we called Sponagole Towing and they were wonderful only charged us $131. They were fast , the receptionist was wonderful and polite. The pricing was Awesome. Always look around cause u may get ripped off by some companies. I Highly recommend Sponagole Towing in Cumberland Md.

Needed a 300+ mile tow on a Sunday evening when our car broke down coming back from vacation. They responded quickly (about an hour from calling to car being on the back of the truck), professionally, and charged within the estimate. Thanks to their extended cab trucks, both my wife and I were able to sit in the truck the whole way back and didn t have to deal with also getting a cab. God forbid we ever have to do a short notice long distance tow again, but if we did and were in the area, Sponaugle would be my first call.

Dave arrived quickly and with obvious knowledge and safety in mind, he loaded my Chrysler 300 onto the tow truck and transport us where we needed to go. He was very polite and beyond helpful! His boss should give him a raise.

This guy saved us on Rt. 68 the Saturday evening of Labor Day Weekend and took us all the way to Pittsburgh. AAA wouldn't cover the trailer but he gave us a 50% discount and towed both my SUV and the trailer. Made it to Pittsburgh super fast and simple in our time of need - thanks so much, we greatly appreciate it!

Would recommend this towing company.First time for me to get towed to my house the dude who picked me up at 10pm was really nice and friendly. He took me home with my truck and put my truck where i needed it. Also had a good conversation with him about his wreaker and stuff like that. Thanks for helping me guys. #slowdownmoveover

Called triple A because we had 2 flat tires and the guy pulls up and says you still have 2 flat tires because I'm not towing it because we had a load on the back. Very rude and unprofessional. Never would I ever allow triple A to use them for me again
