They have the quality animal feed and gardening supplies and to correct your soil's composition, amendments. For organic growers, there is the Happy Frog lineup of soil's and cocoa coir, along with ingredients to prepare your own organic compost tea. I saw that the Cumberland store is getting into indoor grow tents and lights.Don't forget about the outdoor corkboard with listings from the surrounding areas offering goods, animals, machinery and associated things for sale or wanted. Community! Friendly and knowledgeable service

My favorite place to shop. They treat you like family and the wide variety of goods for sale is amazing. Carlinda, Neil, Ed, Anita, and the entire team of workers are always eager and willing to help. Let's Beautify Cumberland has benefited for many years by shopping st Southern States.

Giving them a one star I am actually being generous. I bought oil for 20yrs from them n when I ran out last year the receptionist had to bring me emergency fuel (10 gallons)after I called their corporate office twice cause his on call person was intoxicated. I did give my blessings to the receptionist he cared that I was on a blood thinner and couldn't get cold or it would thicken my blood. I give my business to Wilson's oil they came immediately the next day and filled me up and it was snowing out

SOUTHERN STATES DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS. I bought 10 battery opperated candles at southern states after Christmas sale. I packed them away with other Christmas items not thinking a thing of it. I just got them out because i had an idea and a use for them and NONE of them work. I called and talked to a clerk that i happen to know and she said hers works fine and advised me to try alkaline batteries. So i did and still nothing, when i called in today they simply said "it's well past the 30 days so we wont do anything ". To which i responed, people dont usually use Christmas items AFTER Christmas so how would i have known?" They repeated they wont do anything. I didn't kerp my receipt but if i recall i think i paid $6 each, so now im out $60 + another $20 for D size batteries that i have no other use for. Thanks alot SS, I WON'T BE SHOPPING THERE AGAIN.

Prices are higher than most places around. They are good employees outside who help u with heavy bags. Some of the inside employees (who run register), can be rude, unhelpful, and are uneducated about their job.

Charges for a 30lb tank when filling a 15lb grill. On top of that they only give you 3.5lbs..... At current price it's 15$+ a refill!Skip the headache and take a run to tracker supply in lavale.... 4.2lbs and it's only $12!!!!!!!!

They had a road to back up on but instead they backed up the whole length of my yard and put indents in my yard instead of using the road that was rt beside them to back up to my shed
