Always fair and honest. Courteous friendly service. State inspections are done here. Got my family's cars inspected there. Very prompt, precise, and honest. I was also in my family automotive business for 40 years since 1978, so I do know and understand when it is a good shop.

We took our car to get a State inspection here, the price was reasonable, He found a few small problems and was very nice about how to fix them. He never pushed us to give him the job. Going back this week for the recheck now that we made the repairs. Friendly place, really nice People. I would go there again.

Probably the best place to go in. Cumberland fast. Good service, always fresh. Recommend the spot better than downtown.

So far they've done pretty good work on my car, but getting ahold of them is like pulling teeth. If your issue is time sensitive call earlier in the day, tried to call an hour before they were closed to set up an appointment and no answer on the phone. I go down and no one's there, 2nd time it's happened.

Jim Grubb and staff come highly recommended!! His nick name is "Grumpy", but he has a goid soul and very skilled!! He told me over a year ago that he was retiring, so I was amazed and pleasantly surprised to find "Grumpy" still on the job! Just like my 72 year young sister in WA State! Was supposed to retire 6 months ago, but FINALLY DID YESTERDAY!!! YAY, and SO PROUD of her!! I put her gift up and almost couldn't find it (another Senior moment)! So when she gave me this date, I shipped it and was glad she kept date!! Thanks Jim, for referring me to Langley's in Frostburg!! They also go the extra mile for customers!! Be safe!!

This place is 100% worthy of its high rating. When my sons vehicle starting breaking down just past Paw Paw, I started looking for places in Cumberland with a high rating. Maryland Avenue Auto Services had the highest rating. My son was moving from Northern VA, to just past Indianapolis, IN and had a car packed full. These folks changed his alternator and belt and got him back on the road in no time. Very fair and very honest. Highly recommended!!!

I've been coming here for eight years and never had an issue. Till recently, Prices have sky rocketed. Over 400 for a brake job? 120$ for an oil change? Wont ever be back lost an 8 year customer.

On a trip to western Pa, we hit a large cast iron pipe in our lane with no way around. We didn't clear it & it left a hole big enough to put my hand in the transmission pan. Maryland Ave Auto took care of it and we were pleased with the service. Being far from home, we are happy to have found them. Thanks

Had MD state inspection done... He took the time when I piclwd up my car to explain exactly what needed done to pass. Was treated with respect & felt fairly over inspection results.

Absolutely wonderful place to do business with. Go above and beyond to make sure their customers are taken care of. We have been using Maryland Avenue Auto for our Maryland State Inspections and they have always been honest and fair. I recommend anyone that needs a Maryland State Inspection that this business is the place to go!!!

Not overly expensive like some shops, and they do good work. They even do state inspections, which is nice.
