We were looking for a Volkswagen Beetle for my son because it was his dream car and we searched all over. My husband drove to to three different locations in Ohio only to find very disappointing vehicles. We were hesitant to drive to Maryland because of our experience, however it was amazing! They were super nice to deal with and thorough with the vehicle. My son loves his vehicle so much and can not be happier. I then decided to buy myself a beetle two weeks later! Love the family and could not have have a better experience with purchasing a vehicle. Thank you all so much!

HEROS - What more can call the WONDERFUL staff at Barth's Home Auto more than literal HERO's. They got me out of what seemed like an impossible predicament, and I cannot thank them enough. They specialize in Volkswagen and Mercedes vehicles, however they were so kind to take care of my Hyundai. This repair came on short notice over the weekend, after I broke down on the highway.I am truly thankful for Hank for his excellent service and getting me home. Destinee answered the phone close to closing hours and chose to take care of me past closing hours. If that doesn't say all you need to know about this wonderful business, then you just don't get it!I 100% recommend calling Barth's Home Auto for any repairs, questions, and just general guidance. I am forever thankful for crossing paths with you all, thanks!

We had the most amazing experience at Barth's!We had been looking for a VW Beetle for our daughter's first car because she absolutely loves them. It wasn't looking good, everything we were seeing was either over-priced or not in good condition. We came across a Beetle at Barth's and were a little skeptical because of our previous experience. We were also coming from NJ so we were a little hesitant about taking the drive. That quickly changed after 1 phone call with Destinee. She truly LOVES and KNOWS practically everything about Beetles! The entire process was extremely easy and seamless! When we got to Barth's to check out the Beetle we were beyond impressed! They went above and beyond to make sure "Moonpie" was in tip top shape, inside AND out! Hank was incredible!!! He explained EVERYTHING about the Beetle from bumper to bumper! We can't be any happier with our experience at Barth's and will ABSOLUTELY take the ride back whenever we're in the market for a Beetle again!

We recently purchased a VW bug from Barth s Auto Sales and hands-down it was the best car buying experience we ve ever had these folks are so friendly and so kind they really do feel like they re your friends They are also very knowledgeable about the cars and an excellent job from the sale all the way through the paperwork even after we got home with the vehicle they gave us great support and shipped us additional items for the car and helped us deal with service just really really good people we would highly recommend them to anyone

We purchased a 2007 Beetle from Barth s Home Auto, and it was hands down the easiest car buying experience ever. Everyone was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to help us find the perfect car. We haven t even had the car 24 hours and I ve already recommended them to a friend. Definitely the place to go!

Our experience with Barth Auto Sales was above and beyond what we expected. A small family owned business that always puts the customer first. Destinee is a knowledgeable sales person who will lead you through the whole process and also very easy to deal with. Hank is the ace mechanic and detail person that has the Midas touch with vehicles. We highly recommend Barth Auto Sales when looking for a vehicle. A great choice that couldn t go wrong.

The purchasing experience we had with Barth s Home Auto Sales was top -notch from beginning to end. Destinee was there to guide us through the process of an out of state purchase, hence making the whole experience pleasant and effortless on our end. We also learned a lot from her about VW Beetles. We will also be returning for any of our service needs, to Destinee s husband, Hank, who specializes in VW s. It s obvious Hank went over our beautiful 2007 Triple White Beetle with a fine tooth comb the car looks brand new! And we can t fail to mention, that we named our Triple White Destiny , after the person who introduced us to her. There is so much good to be said about dealing with a small family owned business, and the positive relationship that develops with the owners. We had our Destiny delivered to our door, so we now look forward to visiting Hank and Destinee in Cumberland this summer. We highly recommend Barth s Home Auto sales.

Traveled from Pittsburgh to look at a 2009 Beetle. Like what we saw, made arrangements to purchase the car. Took Amtrac from Pittsburgh to Cumberland, Hank picked us at at the station in town, and drove us to the Dealer. Trip home was great. One week later the check engine light came on. Text pictures of the two codes to Hank, he called and explained what was probably the cause. Destinee called and suggested we take the car to a local shop, and they would mail a check for the repair.. We decided, that since Hank, by the way a genuine Meticulous mechanic, knew the car we would drive back down for the repair. Just got back, all taken care of. Rate this dealership an A+. If you are looking for a Beetle, please investigate your options at Barth s Home Auto Sales & Service.

I don't think I can adequately do justice to the AMAZING service and professionalism I received from Destinee and Hank at Barth's Home Auto Sales & Service. They both went above and beyond to find me the right vehicle to purchase . . .months upon months . . . they stayed in contact until they found me something that met my needs. I was even able to purchase an excellent extended warranty, and Hank can do the service. It's a win win. I am over the moon happy with the experience, and with my new Hyundai Tucson. It's so darn cute, and has all the bells and whistles I could not afford in a brand new car. This isn't our first purchase from Barth's, and it won't be the last. Without a shadow of doubt, I highly recommend them.

I'm not going to leave a bad or a good review. The people that own the place were nice to deal with. Be aware that the vehicles they are selling are vehicles they buy from dealer wholesale sales. That means there is a reason the dealer doesn't want to sell them on their own lot. The vehicle I purchased seemed to be in decent shape, ran and rode well. Three months after purchase I was in a very minor accident with a person and after a few days her insurance company contacted me and told me they were totaling the vehicle. I stopped at the body shop to find out what was going on and they let me know that the vehicle had been wrecked before and showed me evidence to support their claim. There was also extensive rust in a spot that could not be seen when I inspected the vehicle. Maybe Barth's knew, maybe they didn't. Not saying to not do business with them, just be aware of what you are buying.

We were traveling up I-68 when we lost power in our RV. We figured out that it was overheating due to loss of antifreeze fluid but unable to tell from where. We googled local service station and Barth s was the only one shown to still be open. We pulled up to their garage and it just happen that Hank was outside. I briefly explained our situation and immediately Hank jumped into action. It was almost like he knew exactly where the issue was located. He grabbed some tools and dove under the RV and emerged stating he felt confident he resolved the issue. He filled up the vehicle with water, ran the engine up to temperature, verified no more leaking, ordered new antifreeze that was required for the make of the RV, drained the system and installed the delivered fluid. Hank put water in the empty jugs in case the situation reappeared and placed them in a plastic bag. He took the time to educate me on how the system worked and what to look for as I monitored the situation. We verified no fluid loss and continued on our trip without any further issues. We can t thank Hank enough for taking the personal care and safety concerns for our family on the boiling hot day. We questioned the charges because it seemed to low for his time and materials used but he insisted it was complete. We could have been gauged for the predicament and desperation that we were in and we believe Hank s honesty is his character. If I lived in Cumberland I would certainly be doing business with him. Thanks again!

I purchased a beautiful conversion van From them years ago to accommodate a wheelchair lift. I had it for years with no problems, we took trips in that van everywhere and had the best times in that van. It was comforting knowing I didn t have to worry that it would break down.When my son passed and I couldn t use the van anymore , they bought it back from me years later. Love the Savvy business women there as well. Thank you!!

Amazing service! Friendly, no-pressure sales. You can tell they are knowledgeable and love the cars! I would buy from them over and over again! AND a full tank of gas to drive off the lot with! Haha it s the little things!
