I hit a pothole, resulting in a flat tire, and decided to visit Mr. Tires. The individual at the front desk was incredibly helpful and went out of their way to locate the necessary tire for me. Additionally, the technician who installed the new tire was very helpful in explaining the process and ensuring that I understood the situation and the steps taken, as well as providing recommendations. Overall, my experience was delightful, and I was extremely grateful for the prompt tire change service I received on a Sunday afternoon.

Was quoted 96 on phone but ended up paying $126. It was a very long wait to just for a oil change and tire rotation. I waited a hour and 30 minutes. But i do appreciate Kevin getting me in the door same day because i really needed an oil change. I recommend communicating with people regarding time. It goes a long way and people would appreciate it. Thanks

Staff is rude, unprofessional and service is slow. I have been here twice. Once, to get tires and they up charged me and when I told then I wanted to go somewhere else they gave me a more reasonable quote. It also took them all day to put new tires on. The second time was to fix their mess up because they cross threaded my lugnut. I made an appointment and told them what was going on. The front office guys were again rude and acted like I was an idiot. They then told me it would take a couple hours, even though I had an appointment. And after two hours of waiting they were unable to fix my car because they did not have the needed equipment. I recommend avoiding this place at all cost. Just the worst auto experience I have ever had.

Excellent service received at Mr. Tire in Columbia, MMaryland. Staff very professional, courteous and place was very clean. Highly recommended! Store Manager, Kevin, was very knowledgeable and professional.

I brought in like new, unblemished 17" Enkei PF01 wheels to have tires installed onto. Mr. Tire caused substantial damage around the edge of three of the wheels. The manager refused to accept fault and refund the charges for the service. Do not let these guys touch your wheels unless you are okay with considerable damage to their finish.Edit: I saw that the pictures were getting lots of views so I went out and took some more. All pictured damage was done by Mr. Tire on 8/13/22.8/30/22 Update: I contacted the parent company, Monro per their instructions on this review. They made things right with little effort on my part. I'm very impressed with their service and how they handled the situation. I would not go back to this Mr. Tire, but I would not hesitate going to another Monro owned shop in the future for general maintenance.

If I could give 0 stars I would because the staff is completely incompetent and try to overcharge you on a bunch of services.I went in because my charging system light came on and I wanted to find out whether it was the battery not holding a charge, or my alternator not providing sufficient power to the battery. After their "diagnosis" they told me it was the battery so I paid $300 for a new battery and had it installed plus the cost of the diagnosis. Not only was that diagnosis was incorrect because my charging system light came on almost immediately after pulling out the parking lot, they also didn't put my tire guard back properly which got caught under my tire and was severely damaged .After returning and explaining these issues they then had the audacity to attempt to charge me and additional $600 for a new alternator as well as another $50+ for new tire guard THAT THEY DIDN'T PUT BACK PROPERLY! Mind you they only guess that the issue is my alternator and don't know fully. The reason I know this is because they said my headlight was out as well, so I went to my car and simply turned the bulb since I can now reach my headlight due to not having a tire guard blocking my way to the headlight. When I told them that they then said the issue must be a wiring problem. If it wasn't an emergency situation I probably wouldn't have went in the first place but I wanted the car fixed so I can finish getting Christmas gifts for my family. HOWERVER after this experienced I would've rather been stranded in the middle of nowhere for hours than deal with these incompetent imbeciles.

service is VERY slow. made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation a week ahead of time. when i showed up i was told it would be a 1.5hr job, but my car was still waiting in the lot with no work done when i showed up to pick up. i ve been waiting here for an hour so far and my car still is not done. total, i ve spent 2.5hr here so far waiting for just an oil change and tire rotation. when i came here a couple years ago for a tire problem, i had the same issue in which the appointment took twice as long as i was told it would and the car was not even started until i showed up to pick it up. expect to spend half your day here even if you have an appointment.

Sunday evening 4/30/23 I was heading home from an appointment and hit a pot hole on the highway which punctured my tire and my psi went down to zero. Thankfully the run flat allowed me to drive for at least 10 miles to Costco followed by Mr. Tire. I walked in to Mr. Tire and was greeted by Joseph who informed me they were about to close and there was really nothing they could do at the moment. However he was able to order 4 new tires to be delivered and installed the next day. I walked across the street to Walmart a took an Uber home. The run flats, Joseph s assistance, and the Uber ride home altogether ensured that I was never stranded during this unfortunate situation. I picked my car up the next day at 4:30pm. I love Costco but they said it would take a week for the tires to arrive. Overall I appreciate Mr. Tire and Joseph for getting this issue resolved promptly so I can get my car back on the road. On a side note I strongly recommend purchasing tires equipped with run flats.

Service is absolutely horrendous, couldn't even get the car looked at. Called early in the morning stated what was needed the guy i talked to was pretty rude and short the whole conversation definitely in need of an attitude adjustment, said i needed an appointment, and if I showed up now it would be a few hours, asked what was open, he then asks what time i can bring it, i say 230, he says drop it off, i state i have to wait with it, and he says what do you mean WAIT WITH IT. I go normally customers wait with their vehicles when theres no where else to go, he then goes should be fine bring it then, which awesome. Show up at 230, wait 10 minutes before anyone even comes in, phone starts ringing, guy walks in, ignores me completely and answers the phone first. 5 minutes goes by, finally gets to me, says it's going to be a few hours for wipers and Tire repair and says you can just leave it. I go this i why I called to make sure I wouldn't have to wait that long and I ask if any other locations have openings he starts to make a call then he is not even asking about anything just having a conversation completely off topic. Think he just called a friend or something was not work related, Pretty sure its the same guy i talked to in the morning, he was dissmissive, rude, and extremely unprofessional, I just walked out. Someone needs an attitude adjustment and a lesson in common decency and customer service, was an older guy with grey hair and a beard. If he hates the job and people so much why bother working there. Called another location myself which was more then happy to help and had me in and out in less then an hour. Avoid this location they suck.

I put new tire in here and next day I had a flat tire. I put air and brought my car to check the new tires. After keep me waiting for 2 hours they said I have a faulty sensors and it ia going to cost me extra 180$ even though I never had that problem with my old tires like a day before they install new tires. So obviously they either did something wrong with my sensor or lying to me.

Today was my first visit to the Dobbin Road store for an important tire issue. I was greeted professionally and instructed where to move my car. The work was performed quickly and well done. I will definitely return.

Moses tried to charge me $460 for a single tire replacement. My father in law and my husband were here prior with no problems. I m just glad my dad caught the scam before the work was done. Got the same one at Albright s for around $272. If you need work done here - take a man with you I guess.

I went in on a spare. I actually needed all four tires. The rep showed me why. I was in and out in about an hour. They gave me a good price. One feature they have is that if you buy tires here, you can make an appointment to rotate the tires without cost. I will be taking advantage of that.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! PLEASE READ. After reaching out to find a special matching tire I spoke originally with Moses who took the time to help me find the exact tire needed after suffering a catastrophic flat that destroyed the tire. Moses took the time to help and the tire was there the next day when I met Kevin who was ANOTHER incredibly professional gentleman. Kevin gave me a time and from there I was in and out within an hour while having a very cordial conversation with him. Wait times can be longer depending on the time of the day but because I was able to call ahead I believe it made a difference as it was toward the end of the day. With that said; I am so impressed with their service I will be back and most certainly try to send Moses and Kevin as much business as possible. It is not easy to find great service and honest help almost everywhere. This location has some really nice people that will look out for you. Thank you again Moses and Kevin.

If you come here ask for Selwyn. I don t usually write reviews at all but he was so helpful / had excellent customer care that I had to.I previously went in for new tires + alignment but the alignment felt off still, so I went back. Selwyn made sure I got taken care of (on a busy Saturday) and even made me decide to stick with this location for all my future auto care. If he wasn t so tentative I would never of came back. 5 stars

Worst custumer service I have ever encountered by man at front desk.The manager KEVIN KELLY needs to replaced. He was super rude kept going back and forth with me and did not try to solve my issue what so ever. I have a shop of my own JM TIRE DEPOT (in which I send people down to mr tire for alignments when we are too busy) and you do not speak to customers the way this man did.I Brought in my car for alignment and my mother had also mentioned squeaking noises. We dropped off to give them enough time to check everything. When I called to check on car the manager Kevin said he was not told to check squeaking when that s the whole point I brought it. if you guys actually test drove the car which I m sure they didn t you would definitely HEAR the noise! They still had my car on the lift when I called at 4 and the manager KEVIN refused to check what the noise was even though they only close at 7. I got my car back and my car is STILL making noise! I will never send my customers here and I will be requesting for my money back. Waste of time and bad manners!

I came in because the tire pressure on my car kept going down. I am from Virginia so I didn't know where to go but thought this would be a safe bet. I asked them to check if there was a nail in my tire and they told me the cost of plugging it would be $54 which is ridiculous because I've never paid over $20 to get it plugged. They then told me that they found a nail close to the sideline and that my entire tire had to be replaced for $227. I have a normal sedan, it should not cost that much to replace one tire. I declined and went to a different mechanic and when they checked my car they said there was no nail to be found. They even let me look at it and took the entire tire off to triple check there was no nail with soap and water. I am glad I didn't give my money to this place.

I went to the shop for AC check on 7/1/2020 and suggested there was a leak. They checked and charged me about 145 for full A/C service. After 1 week the A/C system is not working again and I called the shop. The person I spoke on phone asked me to come back on 7/27/2020 at 10am. I went there at 10 am on that day and the guy at the counter said I should go to other shop because they don t have equipment to check A/C leak. So my question is why didn t they recommend me the first time I went there? They took my money but they are not responsible for the service. This is pure BS. Usually I don t write review, but I think they deserves a bad one.

It was Dec. 31 2022 New Years Eve at 4:30 and this location closed at 5:00pm. I was headed back to Pennsylvania and they took my car in with no complaints about the time and repaired my tire. I appreciated the service and recommended this location highly for travelers and the local community in Colombia Md. Ask for Kevin Kelley store manager...thanks you...

They have appointments but don't understand the purpose of an appointment . When you set an appointment you understand you may have to wait a few minutes but when you arrive for your confirmed appointment time an they tell you that it will be 2 hours that's totally unacceptable. They need to honor the set appointments as people have other things to do other than wait longer than expected as they had a scheduled appointment. I was there for balancing (4) tires and they still can't keep the confirmed time. This has ruined the chance of ever getting my business ever.

Great place, the people were very nice. I had a flat tire because the valve system was leaking air and I had to get it replaced. It did take a long time since I didn t have an appointment and there were other people that were before me but they didn t charge me at all for the service which would ve been $40. Totally worth the wait. I was in the waiting area the entire time and they were nice enough to lend me a phone charger to stream videos so I wouldn't be too bored.

Appointment times are useless. They ask you to make an appointment, but when you show up for the appointment they still don't start working on your vehicle for another 2 hours. This has happened several times now. I keep giving them several chances over the last 8 years because my very first experience getting a flat tire fixed here was good. My most recent was scheduling an ATF and transfer case fluid change and tire rotation. They called me 2.5 hours after the appt time to tell me they didn't have the ATF and to go to the dealer instead. Fine. I show up to get my car and they didn't even rotate the tires, saying they didn't want to put it on the lift since they weren't going to do the other paid services. I guess since the tire rotation was free they didn't want to do anything (even though I paid for it when I bought tires there last year). Since I was without a car for 3 hours and had to go into work, I just took the car. Ended up doing the three services myself at home that weekend.
