I apologize in advance if this review sounds all over the place. In the beginning my car (2016 Chevy Malibu LT) had the check engine light coming off and on, after a while the light stayed on and so my first step was to go to Autozone. They were confused bc their scanner was saying intake airflow system and the worker believed it was the alternator because my battery power seemed to be inconsistent. Within a week, I went from a check engine light to my car completely turning off while filling a flat tire. Long story short there was some confusing issue going on but after taking it to AutoStream they were able to explain all of the issues in depth. They provided pictures of their testing and verified each expense with me before continuing so there was no surprises. There was a point where I got nervous about the pricing but I called about 6 other companies, half said they don t deal with the issue my car was having and the other half agreed that the price range sounded accurate. Autostream made financing with Synchrony quick and easy with 0% APR for I believe 18 months. There was one point where they believed the issue would be solved but another problem popped up and they provided 2 more hours of diagnostics at no extra charge. Upon arriving to pick up my car I talked with Eric and John who were amazing company and very knowledgeable. I was able to keep my module (I think that s what it was) and the burnt area where the fuse broke was shown and explained to me. Before leaving, I noticed my ignition light was still on so they took it back at no charge and within about 15 minutes or so identified the issue which was just a part that needed some cleaning. Before leaving, John or Eric were even kind enough to explain the issue again on recording for my records. All in all, I am very ignorant of cars and their expenses but I feel like I was very lucky that I chose AutoStream and my car is working perfectly.Will update if my car breaks down anytime soon.

Easily made an appointment online. When I arrived, everyone was super friendly and efficient. Love that they do the full vehicle check and give recommendations based on priority or repair. (Green, yellow, red). Sent the results to me and let me decide which repairs, if any, I wanted to move forward with. Appreciated the transparency and honestly about what I did need and did not need. Highly recommend.

The team provided excellent service. They are both friendly and professional. I was given a complete explanation regarding the process for Maryland inspection requirements. My appointment time was scheduled for my convenience and service was completed well within the time frame. I selected this Columbia location because of previous reviews. My personal experience was definitely a five star one.

The team at AutoStream took great care of my truck which was in need of a new hybrid battery. They were able to workout and clear up things that a few other mechanics I went to before could not. The work they did on the my vehicle was done sooner than expected and the payment process was even easier being that I did not have to physically come in to make my payments. Definitely my go to shop for future repairs. Highly recommended

Came here for a state inspection so I could renew my registration and was nervous to take my car anywhere, but this place had good reviews. My car is relatively new at 2021 and had low mileage. Dropped it off, and my car was done before the estimated time they recommended! Received text message detail about what was done, and what was recommended. Initially, when I called I thought the report had said that I failed, and the services were what needed to be fixed. But Jon was honest with me, and told me I passed! The services were just what was recommended to make the car work smoother. As a woman I hate dealing with anything with my car, as I feel like some shops take advantage because they feel woman don't know a lot about cars. Thankfully, this place was honest. I'm back on the road, and if I need to have repairs done, I will come back here! They also take care of a cute stray black kitty cat that lives in the shed next door, and I think that says a lot about a business when they care for animals.

I've been to AutoStream on two separate occasions. All the employees I've interacted with were great. They were open and honest about the work my car needed done and stuck to the time frame given for the maintenance. I haven't had such an easy and hassle free auto repair experience until AutoStream. I recommend for anyone looking for a reliable auto repair shop. I'll definitely be going back for anything my car needs!

Huge shout out to Jon and his crew at the Columbia location!! Took my car in to repair major damages and they were incredible! Kept me in the loop during every step of the process, dealt seamlessly with my insurance company and even got me into a loaner car for a few days. If you re looking for quality work done for a fair price, Autostream is the place for you!!

A thorough evaluation was done on my car, and they were very clear about what needed to be taken care of, when, and why; and what could wait.I recommend this shop and team without hesitation, and will be using them for future car care services.

This is the best auto repair place I ve ever been to. I waited a while to post a review because I wanted to make sure that everything was going to be working correctly and it is. John and the team have made a stressful unexpected, inconvenient car situation an easy and reassuring experience. They were professional, efficient and treated me with respect. I received updates several times a day that were informative and helpful . I felt confident that my car was in competent hands. I am grateful they were able to help me when my regular mechanic nor dealer were available when I needed them most. I have a new mechanic shop and could not be happier.

I'd originally written a negative review. But the shop worked with my husband and I to rectify all concerns. Jesse, the regional manager, even went so far as to give us free labor on an expensive rear transmission seal repair that saved us over $1,500. The significant oil/transmission leaks we had are now completely under control. When you deal with the Autostream professionals, they really do take pride in their work and they want you to come away satisfied.

My wife had her 2014 ML 350 Benz in for an oil, cabin & engine filter change. It cost her nearly $500. $470, to be exact. $300 for air filters alone. An oil change is $125. What do you think?

I was in a pinch with a bad transmission fluid leak, and when the gas station next store was out of transmission fluid, Eric, Jesse, and Jon were gracious enough to give me some free fluid to et me on the road to the hardware shop. I am writing to express my ongoing concerns regarding the recent services provided to my 2011 Volkswagen Touareg at your facilities.After spending approximately $4,000 on repairs, I was disappointed to find that my vehicle was returned to me with the same issues. Subsequently, upon being referred to the Autostream facility in Columbia, MD, and incurring an additional expense of $650, my vehicle was again returned with persisting problems, which have now worsened.Despite the considerable investment made in the hope of resolving these issues, the current state of my vehicle indicates that the services provided have fallen short of expectations. I needed air on my tires, so I pulled into the gas station where AutoSream is located in Columbia. A gentleman by the name of Kim took care of me. He was kind, polite, and extremely helpful. Awesome customer service guys.

Called and got an appointment to check my suspension and do an alignment on my Tesla Model 3 after hitting a large pot hole. They got me in the next day and got all of my alignment specs back in the green. Service was prompt and friendly. The manager Jon clearly has experience with Teslas.

Excellent service. Everyone I interacted with at AutoStream Columbia was polite, professional, and very knowledgable. I love their digital inspection reports with actual photos of my car, nice touch. I looked up estimates for all the suggested work I intended on moving forward with and their prices were right in line and appropriate, no funny business. The technician took the time to patiently answer all my questions and I had my car back the next day. Overall communication was great, they were accessible over the phone and via sms. Had an engine misfire in my way to work. Stopped in and even though they were busy for the day, they made it a priority to get my car fixed so I could return home after work. Jon was great with communicating and did his absolute best to make sure I was satisfied. Highly recommend!

What a breathe of fresh air...Customer care at its Best! From the initial phone calls, checking to see if they had my tires, and additional repairs that were needed in the end but worth it. I have absolutely no complaints and there were "no" issues. Excellent service and excellent follow-up. My elderly mother drove a badly damaged car into the shop, and the guys treated her like she was their own grandmother. They gave her a ride back to her senior living apartment, assessed the damage, and contacted her with a reasonably priced estimate before the end of the day. They repaired the extensive damage quickly, and when I was unable to bring her to pick up the car before the close of business on Friday, they came to get her, so she could bring her car home. You don't get much better service than that!

The entire team at AutoStream is 10/10. They provide great service for repairs, and they put the extra effort into their customer service. Getting repairs done on vehicles is always a stressful time but working with this team makes it a lot easier. They found a lose bolt that had been making a clunking noise for 2 months. The cool thing is at first they did not find it, I wasn t surprised as the dealer could not find it either. I told them I was going to pick it up later that evening. They said they had a free tech and would try one more time. That did the trick! What shop tries a second time to fix something for a customer!!

I was there for an oil change, and it was fine but it takes forever. You have to drop off your car because they don t have a waiting room. I dropped it off at 10 and it was finally ready at 3. Because of this, I won t use them again.
