I have been getting my car fixed at c and d for years. At least 6 six cars I had work done on my cars. The 100% satisfied customer. When you find a good honest auto mechanic you keep them for life. 10 out of 10

I want to start by noting that I have been bringing my cars to C & D Auto Service Center for over 25 years. I am a Retired Police Officer. All of my personal cars have been serviced here for minor and major work. The business standby the workmanship, quality, and warranties. I have referred many of my family members and friends to this business. My referrals and I consider them to be trustworthy.When they do work on my cars, my cars run, and I get the maximum use out of them. In fact, I passed down a few cars that I had to family members that needed a car, and they were in very good condition when I gifted them the cars. In fact, I had a used Honda Accord that I drove for 15 years before I gifted it to a family member. My family member was impressed with how good the car ran.Lastly, his son was a baby when I started going to this business, and now his son is involved in this family business. They both have a kind demeanor and are empathetic for the needs of their customers. They also were willing to work with me and make me a happy customer. I highly recommend this business for you to try them out yourself. They are minutes away from the College Park Metro. They have a great relationship with Enterprise Rental Cars that is in the area if you need a rental when dropping off your car.Sincerely,Retired Police Officer

One of the best and easiest services I have ever received! I needed a specific part for my car and the shop went above and beyond to find it for me. Super friendly and I appreciate them explaining everything to me. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

Sammy Jr and Andrew are great to work with. Mechanics here are excellent. I always can count on C&D to give me all the details and stay in communication on what's happening when my vehicles are in the shop. No surprises. Been going here since 1994 (first with Sam and now Sammy Jr ) with my different vehicles (my jhetta, honda, mitsubishi montero, nissan murano) and just took my two 2005 F150s in to get some much needed work done. Same great work. Price changes are always fully explained. Great service. Reliable, professional, friendly.

This is a business with honest people. A couple weeks ago, in a Saturday morning, I brought my 2012 Toyota RAV4 for checking of some suspicious noises when braking. The technician did a free of charge inspection and told me there is nothing wrong with the brakes. I am glad now I can drive the car with confidence.While waiting in their office, saw many technical certifications on the wall of the owner and technicians working there. Impressive.Service: Brakes

Hired them to fix my Kia Sportage door and found multiple screws on the floor after the repair. My vehicle was also used to drive around without my consent. My gas was significantly lower than what I left it with and the manager threw $20 cash and said that should cover it. Do not recommend this place to anyone. Andrew was truly a life saver today! This is my second time using this location, the first time I came for a break repair and they were fast and efficient . They also were able to get me in last minute which I truly appreciated. Today I just needed help with a license plate and they were more than willing to help. I truly enjoy this auto service location.

While fixing the back suspension on my vehicle,he went on and repaired related surrounding damaged items for preventive purpose after sending me proving photos and asking my consent. The cost of repair package was very reasonable but most importantly I received my car the next day as promised and feel very safe driving it. I needed a quick turnaround on a checkup of my old minivan, because I needed to take it on a long trip. I had never been to C&D Auto Service before, but they helped me out, did the check-up, reviewed necessary repairs with me, and then repaired the vehicle at a reasonable price very quickly. I was very pleased and will definitely return.

These guys are the best! I was traveling out of state for the weekend and my Nissan Quest broke down with a family of 6 in I95/I495 in 6 lanes of traffic. I got towed into this shop and I was greeted by Sam and Andrew. They were empathetic to my situation and assured me they would get right on my car after the holiday weekend. I secured a rental nearby, booked a hotel, and was off and running for the weekend.Came back to get my car on Tuesday and everything was going well until the tech informed us that the alternator that was replaced was defective. They got right on the phone and ordered a new one. Sam, the owner, even took me to a hotel so that I didn't have to call a cab. He's a great man. They had it in the next day and verified it 100% to be repaired.I was nervous on the drive home some 150 miles away but it all went well and they hooked me up with a 24month/24k mile warranty parts and labor on the repair. Great shop to do business with and the people are all about problem solving and getting the customer back on the road.If you are ever in need of a solid repair shop that can work on some of the more complex vehicles like Nissan, these guys are the real deal. I would highly recommend C & D Auto Service. I brought my 2009 smart car to them to have the Vehicle Speed Sensor replaced. They gave me an estimate and performed the replacement quickly and efficiently. They are honest, reliable, knowledgeable, friendly, and the one garage I've been to that I feel I can trust. I will definitely be returning in the future and would recommend them to my friends and family, (and strangers!) for their car repair needs. Great job, guys!!!

This place is amazing! I found C&D Auto Service after a tire rotation went horribly wrong at a chain company. They quickly diagnosed the issue, fixed it, and had my car back up and running beautifully within a few hours. They are incredibly friendly and I've already sung their praises to my team at work. I came here to get my Maryland state inspection done, and while they were able to get me in quickly and take care of everything I needed, I had to call for an update that then confirmed the repairs needed.I had one other request for service along with my inspection when I dropped off my car, and despite them saying they had documentation of the request and me confirming it when there were phone updates, when I picked up my car the area was not looked at, and I was charged extra for this service. The final total was around 60% over what the initial check in phone call estimated the cost to be.Haven t decided if I ll be coming back, since the quality of repairs was excellent, but I don t appreciate items being missed and being charged over what I was quoted for a mistake on the part of the repair shop. I ve never written this long of a review, but I think it is important for prospective customers to hear a full truthful experience at this shop.

I've been using C & D Auto Service for years. The location is convenient as they are close to the College Park Metro station so I can drop my car off and then head downtown to work.The staff is professional. Every time I bring my car in, Andrew checks me in. He listens to me describe the issue or service I want. He has never been rude or dismissive to me and hears me out. The service is fast. I drop my car off in the morning and sometimes I am still on my way into work when I get a call from Andrew letting me know the diagnosis and quote to fix the issue(s). Very often they are able to repair my car the same day though recently they have been slowed by the lack of available car parts. To Andrew's credit, he warned me of this while checking me in to temper my expectations.I find C & D to be honest. I read any codes myself and do some research to get an idea what the issue I'm bringing in might be and C & D have never given me a diagnosis that was totally out of line or an obvious attempt to try and sell me parts or services that I don't need. They have given me a heads up from time to time that a part may need to be replaced in the near future, but isn't needed now. The cost estimates are reasonable as well.Overall, this is just a good car repair shop. It's my go to place to have work done on my car. I don't have any problems recommending it if you need your car repaired.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, A/C installation & repair, Oil change

The service at C&D is amazing! I have been there twice for different issues, and they have done an amazing job both times at fixing the issue and doing it pretty quickly. They kept me updated on the state of my car, and, as someone who doesn t know much about cars, they always explain things in a way that helps me understand what is going on. Samig in particular was extremely helpful and really nice!! 100/10 recommend C&D and I will definitely go back if my car has any other issues!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

I bought my first car back in June, and the alternator died the day after I bought it. I had my car towed to C & D as they were one of the best reviewed shops in the area.My car needed a state inspection (as I was only on a temporary registration), so I informed them that I needed the inspection done as well.The work performed on the alternator was very professional. They kept me informed throughout the entire process and let me know of any obstacles in their way. If that was how they treated the inspection, they would be given a full 5 stars, and I would be very happy.HOWEVER, they took notice that I was freaking out a bit (who wouldn't when their first car blows up?), and lied to me that my car wouldn't pass inspection because of the aftermarket suspension installed on the car. They quoted me $400 in labor to take out my suspension, inspect the car with a factory suspension, then put my suspension back into place.I did not accept this charge as I thought it was suspicious, and I was right! The State of Maryland inspection handbook has no mention of failing a car for aftermarket suspensions. There are only height restrictions (a car can't be raised or lowered too far).C & D has completely lost my trust.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical

Although I showed up at 4:50 the owner was so kind and said he would repair the hole in my tire right away. Since I'm from out of town I was very appreciative. His staff did a great job and I feel confident that I can drive to Virginia without any problems with that tire. They also put the donut tire back where it belonged and cleaned up the back of the car. They were truly amazing.I will definitely bring my car back to them for oil changes and other work because they are trustworthy. Thank you guys for everything.You saved the day!

We love C&D Auto Service!! (And C & D Auto Body!!)C&D has the best prices, outstanding best service, and top quality work by, top notch, certified mechanics. They are totally honest, straight forward, and are absolutely reliable. Beyond that they are real nice folks, who genuinely treat you like friends & family. It is a pleasure and privilege to know Sam, Andrew, Sam Jr, and the entire staff.It's been over three years since that first phone call to C&D, when their advice saved us the cost of a new starter. Since then they have always been extraordinarily helpful, thoughtful, and proficient with all the services they have done. This includes maintenance, tune-ups, oil changes, transmission work, body work, and more. I have dealt with auto mechanics and various shops for forty years. C&D is the greatest I have known, as they always have your best interest at heart!!Personal circumstances have evolved, and now as a resident of Virginia it is still well worth the drive to C&D for the best auto service anywhere. There is no reason to go any where else. Thank you C&D!!

Highly highly recommend this autobody shop. Lynn Sergio Jason and team were absolutely amazing. My brand new car was damaged in a accident and C&D autobody repaired my car without a trace of any damage from the accident. There was significant damage on the rear panel and tire as well as my air bags deploying on the passenger side panel and steering wheel. All of this was repaired as good as new. With no signs of any damage. During the repair process because my car was new they had to coordinate with the foreign parts manufacturer in Germany for several of the parts. They had my car for nearly five months. Not to their own fault just due to autobody part creation & shipping delays. While the normal process was for me to communicate via my car insurance agent I talked directly to Lynn. Throughout the entire process Lynn and Sergio communicated with me every step of the way next steps, why delays were occurring, and what to expect next. They also let me know when my car left their property and was being worked on at one of their foreign car contract locations. Although the time waiting for my car to get repaired was much much longer than the two months I expected, Lynn and team at C&D Autobody made my experience a very pleasant one. I truly appreciated their open communication and availability throughout the entire process. They were always one call away if I had any questions regarding my car and the repair process. They worked efficiently given the circumstances and car part shipping delays & limitations they were faced with. The work done on my car was superb and like I stated earlier there is no trace of an accident occurring. Even when I picked my car up and noticed some minor minor minor issues with paneling Lynn ordered the pieces right away and once they arrived had her team resolve the issue. I truly appreciate the exceptional service and communication from C&D autobody throughout my car repair experience and will definitely recommend them as well as utilize their services in the future with my car(s). Thank you Lynn, Sergio, Jason, and team for repairing my car!!!

C&D might be on the higher end for labor rates, but you absolutely get what you pay for. All their work carries a lifetime warranty and they value you as a repeat customer so will always work with you even when insurance is being difficult.

I contacted them via email first, then telephone, the appointment next day. Andrew was great and gave me estimates before my arrival. All good and by the end of the day I had my Van back. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and professional. I ve taken my Chevy HHR there twice. Once for a leaky fuel line, and the second time for major repairs to the front end (not body, but control arms, etc.) as well as new tires. They ve called with an estimate prior to starting the job every time, and do their best to keep the cost within a reasonable amount. Besides those excellent qualities, they re also one of the speediest shops I ve ever had the pleasure of trusting my vehicle to. Both times they ve had my vehicle back to me within a single business day.I cannot recommend this place enough. I plan to take my vehicle to them anytime it needs work. 100% 10/10 would recommend!

C&D Auto is a complete jewel! The customer service (especially from Sammy Jr) exceeds expectations and the workmanship is supreme. There s a reason they ve been around for decades! Couldn't recommend them higher!
