I brought me car in to get mufflers put on I was fine with paying the amount we agreed on suck to the work was done poorly the man ripped off parts of my car that was in his way instead of removing them the way you r supposed to. The he put mufflers in crooked and not even level one of them are sticking out farther than the other one. I wish I would ve looked closer to it before I left but it is what it is

They did all my exhaust work on my m240i , clean welds , good effiecient work . These guys don t waste your time , I highly recommend trying them out for any exhaust related , they got the best customer service also

I ve taken my cars to other shops before with ok service but kustom mufflers is definitely the best had the install long tube headers on my 392 charger left the shop loud and very happy. Most definitely had some exhaust issues not related to them texted them on instagram they replied in less them 5 mins all said and done they saw me the same day all said and done took about 45 mins from the time I texted them the drive to the shop and the service I requested hands down the best

I ve had two of my cars done by them and both times have been great. No problems whatever. Welds held tight even after hitting nasty pot holes. I will continue to bring my cars here for more work.

I can t recall when I first went to Kustom Muffler but followed him from Hyattsville to College Park. Look.. Rob isn t an Angel by far. He is loud, hyper, and funny but his custom work and welding skills is no joke. Either way, I do think most of his customers such as myself like loud noises. Yes, to some might question why I bring my modified vehicles to him for exhaust work. What can I say? He s willing to explore his abilities and get things done. One time, the NSX struck a pothole around University of Maryland and the flanges popped off. I brought the vehicle to him unannounced while he was on lunch break. This guy packed his lunch, came back to the shop, fixed my issue and got me going my business. From a little experience like that it tells me how he values my time and even go above and beyond to keep a happy customer. I recommend everyone I know to his shop from a minor leak to a full custom exhaust make over. Since I trust his work, without a doubt I encourage for you to extend your exhaust needs so he can accommodate you. Don t you want to be happy like the rest of his customers? But I ll let you make that choice.P.S. These are my actual personal vehicles that Rob had worked on previously.Service: Exhaust

My first visit to Kustom Mufflers was after I purchased an older 2008 Ford Expedition that needed a new right catalytic converter. I spoke over the phone with Carlos, who quoted me $550. When I arrived, Rob stated that I needed both catalytic converters replaced at a cost of $950. I was interested in having the best work done, so I agreed. I got the sentiment that they didn't like working on older vehicles, less instagram publicity. But, that shouldn't affect the quality of work, right? It seems as though it did. A few weeks after having the work done, while having a new muffler installed, I found a leak on my left cat as well as dripping welds. I went back to Kustom Mufflers where Carlos re welded the dripping welds and plugged the leak. No problem. However, when I returned to Kustom mufflers to request they check for another exhaust issue, Rob told me that they did not replace both of my catalytic converters, just the right one. That was strange, because I recall paying for both to be done. But, it also made sense. I don't know the truth of the issue. Both Rob and Carlos are saying different things. Carlos promised to send me the video of him installing my exhaust system, but it's been a few days and he claims he keeps forgetting to. No worries. The lesson for this establishment seems to be, if you have a new vehicle that will get attention, you will get their best work. Otherwise, be prepared to make several return visits to request visits for poor quality work and you may be overcharged depending on how they're feeling about themselves. Either way, perform due diligence.

Firstly, I was elated that the owner from also. My installation was post-Black Friday and I was traveling back from out of state. Because of traffic and the holidays, my E.T.A. was late. However, the owner made an exception, and the quality of the work done was beyond my expectations!I would highly recommend this company for all your Mufler and custom needs.Blessings and Respect.

I went here to get something welded onto my car and they fixed it and I paid $200 and a few days later I realized they done stole my catalytic converter.. stealing from customers is not right so please before you leave this shop double check the job they did.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Probably the best muffler shop hands down , quality work , they won t have you sitting around hours to get your car done . They have most mufflers & tips in stock , best shop

Good place and good people. Got my Infiniti done at this shop and had my friends Audi and Evo done as well. No problems! Not to mention very cheap compared to other muffler shops!

Backyard exhaust guys that rush all their jobs just to say they did it and get you out of there. Quotes are ridiculous. Does not match the quality of work in the slightest.

Rob and his team were great! I hit them up one day and the next following day they were already working on my vehicle. They got my exhaust set up done very well and sounding great! Very satisfied with their work. Definitely recommend

Have had some work done with Auto mufflers in the past but at their other location. Went to the College Park one this time as it s closer to home. I wanted to change the sound of my car but needed some recommendations, which they provided me with and I took them up on! Glad I did cause now it s sounding Just like what I wanted! Fast and efficient service and friendly staff. Definitely recommend!

Went to visit this place guy without looking at my car quote me 280 for a muffler Delete. I left as soon as Possible when I heard this ridiculous price. I've been to this place 3 times with different cars and Carlos always hook me up. Great price and service all the time. A little far from Fairfax, Va., but it's all worth it!!!

Carlos and Rob are business men and took care of me in a timely fashion manner with quick, efficient and effective service. I was looking to bring my car in the same day to get work done and they welcomed me over with open arms . I brought my 2016 q50 Infiniti red sport in to get a axle back and lower down pipes pipes installed. They did it within a hour and a half and it was great quality work. Highly recommend these guys

Went in today to get a fresh catalytic converter install (was having a CEL and error code). Carlos the mechanic quickly diagnosed what was exactly causing the code and installed the new cat within 30 minutes tops. Super quick, convenient, and affordable service. 100% recommend checking out this shop, they're great!

This place is it! I will never take my vehicles anywhere else for exhaust work. Kustom installed a complete cat back Flowmaster system on my Ram 1500. Installed everything to perfection, to include alignment and welds. Did it on the spot and well below two other quotes I received. They know how to communicate with a customer so that the job is done exactly like you want it. Well done Kustom Mufflers! Went to get an estimate for some exhaust work. He did not look at the car and gave me an extremely high quote.I spoke to someone standing around about the quality of the work. They said he does very good work, but I will never know due to the quote.

I called them and spoke with Carlos And all I can say is these guys really care!! The honesty and compassion they gave me brought me to tears! I ve gone thru a lot in my journey to keep my Maxima up and have gotten got by many mechanics including the Nissan dealership and have put in probably more than the value of my car. Two weeks ago, I put my car in their care and let me tell you, my car hasn t ran this good since the year it came out!! Yeah I ve spent more than her blue book but she means alot to me so when you love your car, you do what you can To keep her up! They did my catalytic converters and a tune up! I m so grateful to these guys for what they did and the price was better than anywhere I ve called! I tell you one thing, for any maintenance my Maxima needs, she ll be going to Carlos and Rob from now on! Nice group of guys. Told me what I wanted couldn't be rushed and needed a day to complete. I was happy with that, I feel like my car may come out well with what I'm trying to do. Usually I get the run around, I think it's because I'm a girl, and sometimes I have to get my dad involved for stuff to get done. Idk we will see how the GTO does after Monday. Then I'll give another update, but so far, it's cool Update! Car sounds great. My folks are happy and I'm happy. I also appreciate the after care information for what I got done.

As always, I called around for estimates. I didn't bother to get one at Auto Mufflers because I saw quickly that these people are experts, not just trained to find a broken part and replace it in the manner of the national franchises, but really knowledgeable and skilled at everything about exhaust systems. I think they build custom systems and are enthusiasts. When they said they might be able to weld it, I was sold. They repaired rather than replaced, and their charge was about 1/3 of the lowest other estimate from a run-of-the-mill muffler service. The wait was minimal. They are expert muffler people who do custom mufflers. I feel lucky I found them--I'm thrilled with the work and the cost. Also, bad Mapquest guidance got me close but not to the shop, and they even came out to lead me out of the wilderness. Really nice people, as well as experts. Negative reviews without hard facts about the service often come from flawed personal relations, and it's hard to know who's at fault. This shop does terrific work, and they were very nice to everyone I saw them interact with. My wait was VERY short.

Wendy is amazing, Carlos does great work, and the prices are fantastic! My car failed a safety inspection because of a hole where muffler meets pipe, and I was able to get it replaced/repaired less than 30 minutes after they had it up on the lift and for less money than I expected. This is a small shop with super nice owners, and there's no doubt I'll be using them in the future for any exhaust work I need done on a vehicle.

Excellent service, great price, and as efficient as possible. Had one car in front of me, getting some nice pipes by the way, and pull up to pull out was only about 30 mins with no appointment. Had my G35x back purring in no time.

Had my exhaust upgrade on my 05 GMC DenaliGot a quote right there on the spot and was amazed by the price. Was told my truck was next and the repair wouldn t take long . I was gonna have the Wifey pick me up and come back later just as a back up, but by buddy jumped right on my truck and went straight to work. Got a flow master and tip installation done and with my cold air induction already installed on my truck. Oh boy does this thing sound AMAZING Heads really turn NOW . Mann! Oscar hooked me up! I went there and he brought my 2018 Tahoe ALIVE! Whoever gave this place a 1 should be slapped! Great service! Great customer service! Great price! Many options to chose from! And the work was done in a timely fashion (45mins)! 5 reasons to be 5 Stars!

I highly recommend this place to anybody looking for great service. I stopped by there today with no appointment told them what I was looking to get done. The next thing I knew they had my car in the air. The Quality of work was amazing. Two new center pipes on and my quad tips looks amazing and my car sound great. Just the way I wanted it. Rob and his team are a great bunch of guys. I will never go any other place. Thanks guys
