As first time soon to be parents, with everything already being overwhelming - we needed to upgrade our vehicle.The car buying process is always a long one & can sometimes be frustrating. But our salesman, Mr. Ivan made everything as fast as possible & was very straight forward about every single thing happening.From the kindness of greeting us and offering us drinks - simply making us feel welcome and making us feel like priority. We really appreciate it.The sales manager seem a little more on the hard working behind the screen side, but they did everything in their hands to make the deal happen.The finance manager was the cherry on top to the whole process. He was very kind, and answered any questions we had as we signed the paperwork.Thank you everyone for helping us out and making this easy for us.Our new family SUV has us feeling more excited about our baby coming. Can t thank you guys enough! (Also, you guys definitely deserved to do that happy dance after we signed and left the office - yes, I noticed that. Pohanka Honda is a godsend. I had several things needing done to my car, including a part that had to be ordered. I m incredibly grateful they have a parts department and not only that, the part came in quickly and all repairs were done without me having to go to a body shop, where the cost and time would ve been much more challenging. All the employees are very helpful. Nelson was my service advisor and he is awesome. I m so happy with the quality of work done and my experience here. Thank you to all!

I would like to say thank you for Mr. Marcus in the service department. He helped me through my service recommendations from my oil change, transmission exchange and brake fluid service. Even when I ran into a small issue with a service matter, Mr. Marcus rectify the issue immediately without a hitch. We feel compelled to share our incredibly positive experience in purchasing our new truck from Pohanka Honda. Finally found the truck we wanted and traveled 133 miles to purchase. It was worth it! I can t believe how great my experience was at Pohanka Honda! Being a first-time new car buyer, I was pretty nervous, but their team really took care of me. They made everything so easy and stress-free, from helping me find the perfect car to sorting out all the financing details. The staff was super patient and knowledgeable, and they treated me like family. I m absolutely loving my new Honda, and I d definitely recommend Pohanka to anyone looking for a new ride. I haven't purchased a new vehicle since 2006 because the car buying experience has never been pleasant. I must say Rose has definitely changed how I feel. She is absolutely AMAZING! Rose took the time to show me how to use all of the technological features, Rose is kind, Rose is patient, and very knowledgeable. I'm so happy I decided to invest in Honda. I love my new Pilot and I love Rose!

My family has been doing business with Pohanka since the name was on a dealership and service shop in Marlow Heights MD. Both car buying and regular maintenance were convenient, efficient and honestly completed. This seemed to continue after the move to Capitol Heights, and I had brought our 2 most recently owned Hondas here for routine maintenance and had no complaints.Sadly, that changed this year. I had a mishap that interfered with driver assist features and safety, because I needed a mirror replaced. It seemed as though the techs did understand what I wanted, which was the restoration of the ADAS systems so that lane-keeping, adaptive cruise control etc., would once again work as usual.It just doesn't seem that they understood what I wanted. I was billed almost two hundred dollars and received a "complementary" multi point inspection form, and a receipt that reported what I already KNEW: that there were issues that were causing indicator lights to flash continuously because the ADAS systems were not functional.I took the car to a different Honda dealership, which quickly and completely performed the work and the car is driving like it should. I just don't know why I had to go through what I did at Pohanka. I'd recommend being very wary of how they handle service work.UPDATE: Changing my review because Mr. Romero responded appropriately to my dissatisfaction with service. We agreed that Pohanka has normally done a great job with servicing of my family's vehicles, and I plan on returning in the not-too-distant future for routine maintenance. The dealership's customer lounge has always been clean and tranquil and comfortable (as it was in my most recent visit also), personnel have been nothing but professional and polite. I'm chalking this up to an unusual bad day for a normally very good Honda dealership and service organization.

As always, the service is very good! Came in because of a recall. The service rep, Ms Rivas, greeted me almost before I the car door open. In about a minute she had the vehicle info and what needed to be done. She asked if there was anything else then gave an estimate in how long the service would take. (Gotta tell you the service time was way inside the estimate.) Let me say it again: As always,the service is very good!

I was there this past Monday for an oil change and some other issues I had with my car. Jackie was very helpful and a good listener when I was telling her about what was going on with my car. She even double checked to see if I was still under the warranty for certain things regarding my car. Even though I wasn t under the warranty, she still managed to save me some money. In the end, she gave me some advice on what I should be taking care of next. And most importantly, she told me if I leave a message on her voicemail that she returns everyone s call. That s important because some places, you have to keep calling to get in contact with someone. I would definitely recommend Pohanka of Capitol Heights, MD.

8/12 UPDATE BELOW!!!!!!I don t know what happened to my previous review but I am back with another one!!I purchased a vehicle through Shavon on May 16th, she was caring, patient, thoughtful, trustworthy and I left a very happy customer that day. Unfortunately that vehicle was totaled 33 days later at no fault of mine and I immediately reached out to Shavon letting her know what happened and that I ll be back.Fast forward to August 2nd, Shavon gave me a follow-up call, I dropped everything and hopped on over to Pohanka Honda only to leave with another Meep Meep (insider lol) and I m over the moon elated. Shavon s hard work, dedication and the fact she pays attention to detail, what the customer wants, says it all for me!!!!UPDATE 8/12/2023!!!Steve the New/Used Car Sales Manager was great! I had to return my vehicle for a weird sound, come to find out it was a large nail of some that I actually left the property with, but he got that taken care of for me. Unfortunately he was out and was unable to call & take care of another issue I had prior to a necessary road-trip on my end but he did call upon his return and apologize and offered a full tank of gas which I will be taking him up on that offer in a week or so!!!

Firstly, I would appreciate it if you could pay more attention to detail when servicing my vehicle. The purpose of a multi-point inspection is to identify potential issues that need to be addressed immediately, as well as those that are coming up due or in good condition. It was disappointing that I had to request a performance record for my vehicle. The sales representative seemed more focused on getting me to pay for the service and leave the building quickly, forgetting to provide me with the requested report in the first place. Moreover, when I did finally receive the report, it wasn't even filled out completely, and the excuse given was that the technicians were too busy and moving too fast, leading them to skip certain things by accident.

Bad experience. Bad business! 0 stars!! I contacted a rep about a vehicle and it was indeed still on the lot. I was traveling to the dealership literally on the street when the rep called and told me another associate of his took the keys to the vehicle I wanted and sold it. All this took place within 2 hrs of me communicating with the sales rep. Now I get business is business but that is just downright tacky and wrong to go into another person s office and steal the keys to sell for yourself. I had put this place at the top since I purchased my last vehicle here in 2017 but no never again. The manager didn t seem to help because how is that allowed to even happen. He just wanted to put me in something else like sir that s not what the **** I came in for! Needless to say I m telling everyone I know to avoid this place.

I recently had an unexpected issue with my almost brand new car, and Pohanka Hyundai turned a stressful situation into a positive experience. When Hyundai Alexandria (place I purchased the car) declined to assist me and even refused to recommend alternatives, Pohanka stepped in with excellent customer service. They not only took my car in promptly but also fixed the problem efficiently. Special thanks to Ms. Ruth for her care and attentiveness throughout the process. If I could rate as a zero, I would. I drove an hour to view a 2022 Honda Accord Hybrid with 29,000+ miles that was listed at $31k. I arrived in a 2023 Genesis G70 in excellent condition with 12,100 miles which is KBB valued at 39-41k and was considering a trade. Off the bat, I informed my sales consultant, Jasmine, that I loved my Genesis that it would take an incredible offer to let me get rid of it. I m recently married, expecting a child, and moving far away from where I work. My only reasons for considering a trade was to get something with better fuel economy and more space for my family. Anyways, stay with me here. Fast forward to the paperwork. They come back with my quote offer on my Genesis which was completely laughable. $31k. They were offering me the same exact amount on a newer, more luxurious vehicle, with significantly less miles than their 2022 Accord. In what way does that make sense, I m not even sure. But this point I did not allow her, or her Sales Manager Edward Foster to waste anymore of my time. I m not new to the car buying game. I wasn t going to allow them to sit there, low ball me, and waste an hour going back and forth on negotiations to convince them to give me fair value. I would advise anyone considering Pohanka Honda of Capitol Heights not to waste your time. It is clear that their entire Department, from the Sales Manager to the consultants, would rather assume you re ignorant and try to get over on you for their own greed than to make sure you make it off their lot satisfied with the deal in which you made. Attached are photos of the vehicle they offered me $31k. Within hours of departing Pohanka Honda, I was later offered $40.5k

I experienced great customer service from Deshala from start to finish. She regularly updated me with the status of my vehicle maintenance while service was going on. At the completion, she clearly and nicely told me the findings of further maintenance to be done, without being pushy.She reminded me to contact them when I am ready to perform those maintenance.

I recently took my car in for service and my overall experience was just wonderful. Nelson Catillo was my service advisor and I have only positive things to say about him he was truly so knowledgeable and helpful he was caring, patient, thoughtful, trustworthy and I left a very happy customer that day. made my experience with this location so smooth. And i have gone to the other Honda locations and let s just say I m thankful I went to Pohanka and found Nelson. If your having doubts about taking your vehicle in for service just speak with Nelson he will literally go above and beyond to make sure your being helped.

This dealership will never see me or my car again. I dropped it off on a Tuesday morning for what should ve been a 4 to 5 hour service on a recall notice. After being told my car would be done the next day, I was called the following day and told that they had performed a diagnostic on my breaking system, because my brake light was on (My brake light was never on prior to taking it in for service). They discovered my brake hold button was stuck down and asked that I wanted it fixed. I said no because it never caused an issue before. I m told my car would be ready at 5. When I go to pick up the car, I m told that the fuel pump had a defect and my car would not be done until 6. After getting the call that my car was done, I get my in my car to find the ACC, Hill assist, and anti-Collision systems (plus others) were not working and it alerted me to release the parking break before driving, but it wasn t on. I go back inside and a different service advisor Asked me to leave my car overnight, so the foreman can look at it the next morning (Thursday). I called in on Thursday to get an update, in my service advisor is unable to tell me what happened to my car that caused all the alerts to sound off. After some back and forth, I m told that at some point during the service, my car became immobile And they needed to unplug the emergency parking brake in order to move it. My service advisor did not tell me that when she called me to ask if I wanted to get the brake hold button replaced. She also had no idea what the service technician did in order to Get my car, moving again, which was unplugged the emergency braking system. This is, apparently what caused all the alerts to go off on my car. She tells me that I can pay to get the braking system fixed/replaced, or take the car as he is with all the alerts going off. I got a call from her the next day, saying that they would cover the cost of labor, and I would only need to pay for the part.So, in case you got lost in all of that, here s the TLDR version: I dropped my car off for a few pump recall service. They invited themselves to investigate my breaking system. They attempted to manipulate me into paying for additional repairs. They returned my car back to me without telling me they unplugged my emergency parking brake. They told me I could pay $350 for repairs or take it as is. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told that there were none in the service shop that day, or the following two days (obviously a lie).I m still not 100% sure on exactly what happened because the service advisor was unclear herself and could not tell me what exactly happened. What is clear is that someone lied, tried to cover something up, and/or tried to get over on me. And it s also clear that they have no regard for my safety as they returned my car to me having tampered with the braking system, Not documenting what was done, and never mentioning it to me.I am thoroughly dissatisfied, and quite frankly appalled at the audacity of this service Team as a whole. This behavior clearly is common place and goes on checked, but it will be checked when they hear from my attorneys.My best advice for anyone, considering buying a Honda or taking their Honda in for repairs, GO TO GREENBELT HONDA!!

Outstanding Customer ServiceMy salesperson is Dejuan Campbell, who does a great job. His manager, Andrew, spent two plus hours looking for the Honda Pilot in the trim I wanted. Then the dealership had to go to Salisbury, MD for the car to get the deal done. Roshawn in finance did an awesome job with the paperwork. Most importantly, I got home and my wife is happy with the trim, color, and price.

Let me start by saying Ms. Jaqueline Rivas (Jakie) has provided me and my family with top notch service since we got our new Honda 2024 cr-v her attention to details has finally gotten me worry free about going to the dealership for service, since as we all know it s a pain in the A. Marcus made the visit very smooth during check in! He was very paitent while I had to make calls to confirm information. The location had a nice big lounge area where you could wait while your car was being serviced. They offered plenty of water, coffees etc. Got drinks and snack machines there as well. The employees also place some snacks out for free as well.

Typically come here for my oil changes and general car maintenance. Been waited on by Nelson the last 3 times and haven't been disappointed. Came yesterday 1/30/24 for an oil change and tire rotation and they actually replaced my key fob battery because they noticed it was low. Free of charge. I didn't even inquire about that. They just did it. Wonderful service. Would absolutely recommend!

I have been to this Honda many times and the service was not so great. It wasn't terrible but the staff didnt seem to care about the customers much. This changed when I went back recently and worked with Devonta! This tech was extraordinary at his job and service! I had to pay more than expected for my service but due to the fact that his knowledge and customer service was so EXCELLENT the charges didn't matter. Continued service like this will keep me coming back!

I went to go look for a new vehicle today. I was welcomed by a very nice gentleman at the door but he was with a different customer so I was ushered to a different lady. I stated I was looking at a specific type and she seemed more than happy to walk around the lot and show me some. The whole time she did not explain much of anything of the vehicles I was being shown. I stated that I didn t know much about cars in general and from my pov personally she did not educate me on anything at all. When I made a mistake about knowledge of my car she corrected me but with a very monotone voice. Seemingly as she didn t seem like she was going to help or wanted to anymore I advised I d just look by myself. If you re a salesperson, your job is to sell the car and make it sound good. From all the dealerships I want to today that was the worst experience of the day. And as I m looking through the responses to these one star reviews by the store it shows what energy you give off. Take criticism and do better. And no need for a backhanded response, I will not be spending my money here.
