I took my vehicle in for the transmission and was told it needed to be rebuilt. They kept the car for three months. I allowed them to drive the car back and forth while they had it and when the rebuild and the test drives were finished, I picked up my vehicle and within a month the vehicle was having the same problem that it was before I took it to Mr. Moon. This business is reputable but the service is questionable. I will never give them my money or a business referral.

I own a car dealership in the area and have used them for the past 10 years for our auto repair needs and have been very satisfied. Best auto repair shop in the area if you want quality work and diagnostics for a reasonable price. Hats off to Jay, Danny, Kenny, and Mr. Moon. Thank you!

I DO NOT RECMMEND THIS MECHANIC. Had my vehicle towed there, it sat for 5 says before they looked at it. When I went to pick it up, it was vandalized, and the mechanics stole all my equipment out of me car. I asked for owner, but Jak said owner wasn't there. They didn't compensate me for stolen items. I was told it was an inside job.THEY NEVER FIXED THE CAR. They are thrives. They will rummage thru your car and Steal your valuables.Do Not Patronized Them.Had to file police report.

I love everything about Moon s Auto Center! They are dependable, polite, reliable. Always happy to help and you may get a funny joke while there Kenny is hilarious and he is always cheerful!!!! I have been using this mechanic for maintenance on my vehicle for years. Last month my car was damaged in an accident a few blocks from Moon's, so I limped my broken car there, confident they would sort me out. A gentleman named Danny told me they would move it to their body shop to do the bulk of the work... my response was obviously, "okay, you're the professional, whatever you need to do."Danny quoted me $3k to repair the car, in speaking with the insurance adjuster I told him Danny quoted $3,500, in anticipation of any potential "unknowns." Within an hour of the call where Danny quoted me $3k for the repairs, a check was cut for almost $3,600 directly to the Moon's affiliated auto body shop. I picked up my car today, not surprisingly, supposed unknowns arose and Danny happily accepted the full $3595 for the repairs to my vehicle. Unfortunately, the body work on my car is incomplete and shoddy, and the mechanical issues that arose from the collision were not addressed.When I tried to speak with Danny about these issues and pointed out that he took the additional 20% over the original estimate, he shut me down, though he did offer to replace a clearly broken, cheap plastic part, that I suspect they didn't think I would notice. The more expensive repairs that were not addressed, I was essentially told, "too bad." When I mentioned the mechanical issues, he told me it was just a body shop and they didn't work on mechanical. I did not receive an enumerated bill and am now on the hook for additional body and mechanical work. I immediately drove to Moon's to try to get some help and was blown off and told to come back next week.I will update this review if Moon's resolves this ongoing issues with my car in a satisfactory way. However, as it currently stands, this experience has soured the confidence and loyalty that I previously had in this business. I have sent several other car owners to this company over the years, but I'm afraid I can no longer do that and encourage anyone considering this shop to research and consider other options.Service: General repairs & maintenance

So my chevy is 10 years old so you know things start to give out. During this horrible heat my AC compressor decided to quit without 2 weeks notice lol. So all around town everyone trying to charge me 2k to fix. I got the favtory part and no one would take me. Came to Moons because my husband and in laws have been going there for years. Best service ever. They talked to me respectfully, and did what I asked which was please install this GM factory ac compressor. They were fast too! Dropped it off at 730am, and ready at 10am. Other places talk down to you or try to upcharge Triple what it should be. I will only be coming here for repairs like this. Thank you Moons!!!Services: Auto A/C recharge, Auto A/C replacement

Took my vehicle there for the recommended services from them. When back up there to check on my vehicle because no one answered the phone. The shop was closed no reason why after two weeks there was a note stating that maryland had closed them down. Three weeks a rental car now it's been three weeks no calls no answers no return calls. Finally on On the fourth week one of the worker's was sitting I'm his car at the shop No explanation other than shut them down maryland Shut them down no reparation or anything, and finally got my vehicle don't think I will return!!! Should've took my vehicle to AYT SHOP!!!

Worst place to take your vehicle. I took my automobile there for air conditioning repair and the car came out with other issues that were electrically related. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my vehicle only the air conditioner was blowing warm air, not only did he not repair the air conditioner he screwed up my electrical system and the cost was over 3k to repair. You have been warned. Moon and its affiliates are not to be trusted. The location I took my car was 6121 Central Avenue. They are horrible. Consider this your warning.Service: Air conditioning

Please do not take your vehicle here they really have bad customer service skills. You take your car in for service and come out with other issues. Poor customer service skills, very smart out the mouth and just plain rude. Majority of their businesses comes from African Americans and they way the treat you is crazy. They have an excuse for everything that is wrong with your car instead of taking care of the problem. Stop bringing your car to people who don t value you and just want your money.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Took a 2003 Ford Expedition here out of pure desperation for a quick fix and that s exactly what I got a quick job a pure quick CHOP SHOP job.My car wouldn t start, and based on the issue I knew it had to do with my starter. So I took here. At the time my triple A only allowed for close tows and I was in the middle of a work week. Here, they replaced it, and two days later I had the same issue. At this point I took the time and I had it towed to my usual mechanic, and he called me later on worried for my safety said that all kinds of wires were exposed which caused further issues to the truck not starting. I m disgusted that this shop considers themselves professionals and allowed me to take my vehicle on the road knowing it wasn t suited to be driven. It could have blown more than a few fuses under my hood. 0 stars is what this place truly deserves.

Moon's Auto. Years of services from this shop. I have yet to be disappointed.These guys know cars, be it early models to late models.Foreign they can Handel it.There when I really needed them. My car ( kia Soul) was vandalized, dealers had reached their limit in the " kia Soul crime surge so I could not take my car back to the dealer,they were out 3-6months in delay for parts. I called "Danny @ Moon's Auto ,and he didn'tHesitate to tell me to bring it in. I express to Danny it had to be towed in ,and it will be delivered by AAA.Iam completely satisfied that everything my insurance company gave them a check for will be in top condition in repairs because they use new parts not rebuilt/ or recycled. I called "Danny, and everything looks Great. !!Thank you Moon's Auto Shop.

I go take my truck in for a leak and picked the vehicle up with scratches on the front bumper and my Bluetooth wired cutted. of course they claimed they didn't do it.

It's very challenging to find a reputable & HONEST mechanic. I have a 2015 jeep in very good condition, the dealership said i needed front and rear brakes & rotors and quoted a ridiculous amount. I took my truck here for an estimate and not only was I told I only needed front rotors, but it was a fraction of the dealership cost. They could've just done what I requested, but they WERE HONEST and will have me as a customer as long as they're in business. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ESPECIALLY FOR SINGLE WOMEN!!!

I went here towards the end of August to replace my fuel pump and install a splash shield. Two days later I began experiencing the same issues that I had before I took my car here. To add to that, the splash shield was not properly installed. I called them and they told me to bring the car back. Before going back to them I went to firestone to get an engine check and was informed that my fuel pump was bad. They either never replaced it or installed a bad fuel pump. If there was a warranty on the part then that should ve been confirmed with me when I called AFTER I experienced issues. Poor communication and little to no responsibility. No reason to go back to an establishment in ANOTHER state that did a poor job. I d rather support a business that does it right the FIRST time. Would not recommend.

These folks are Trash !! They totaled two of my cars try to steal my alignment and everything smh The worst shop ever and make a bad look for Asian mechanics I m sorry They shade will keep your car for months before they even look at it

Pro: They replaced my starter in my 2011 Jeep WranglerCon: They couldn't figure out why it starts sometimes, but fails more often than it starts. They kept it for a week and I was told it started every time they tried. I had it for less than a day and it wouldn't start.Would give them 4 or 5 stars if they could fix the problem of it not always starting.

Terrible service they just want people money and always trying to work females out there money had to tow my car out there shop to take it somewhere else at a better price then trying to get 2,800 out of me already paid them 2,400. Won t be getting no my service or no money from me no more, unprofessional look at there response oh don t worry your business needs to be shut down asap they put a messed up transmission and now that s the first they always say about my car and me taking it somewhere else it s not my transmission so that s how you know they only worried about money and not good serviceService: Transmission

I was having a heat issue with the vents blowing cold air in the 2014 Camaro. As weather is starting to change a friend told me take it to Mr. Moon on Marlboro Pike. I dropped my car off on Monday morning and diagnosis was given (REPLACE BLEND DOOR)and price quoted and everything was perfect. I am pleased with services recvd and have found a reasonable and professional experience with this company. There was no wait time from being seen for the services were quick and he delivered as promised and many thanks for getting job done. I like my new mechanic and the Referral from my friend Lol He may not answer the phone (he's busy...you know am right) when you calling for update but truth be known HE DOES CALL AND SAY COME AND GET YOUR CAR Thanks

I'm in the dont (Recommend) category. My car was vandalized in a different manor. Vehicle was left there and someone used the bathroom in my vehicle and to top that off they held/were unable to take a look at or repair the vehicle. There are Good Guys and then there are Bad Guys-take a guess at what guys they are. Its the latter.

If you have a Kia Soul. Don't EVER BRING IT HERE. They don't know how to fix it. They rather make excuses or tell you it's nothing wrong with your car when 2 days ago they was telling me it was a misfire which I ALREADY KNEW ABOUT THATS WHY I BROUGHT IT TO YOU.(Reply to Moon Auto Owner comment since he wants to lie) When I picked it up the first time it took you 6 hours to try to find a reason on BOTH days. I BROUGHT IT TO YOU TWICE. i had to call you TWICE to find out what was going on with my car instead of you calling me which is even more unprofessional. you even asked am I sure I want to take my car back because my engine is misfiring and you also said your computer was having trouble finding the code and now all of a sudden you have codes. I gave them my car on August 9th, and it's august 30th. Only one person was able to deal with insurance and warranty companies, and that clown went on vacation, with my car sitting. I still don't have my car back because they're now waiting for an adjuster, whom should have been there a long time ago.This is the worst and it isn't the first time, but everyone keeps saying they are the best. Hell nah, they are not. They are the worst when it comes to major work. They'll make sure you have to come back to them, for your repairs...again.I do Not recommend this auto center. The only shop i feel comfortable going to AND sending people to. Half my family goes to them. (Grandad, Mom, Sister, 2 of my Aunts, 3 Uncles, a few Cousins, AND my Daughters Mom). Whether they hold me cars for a day or a week, the work is always done the way it is supposed to. They even let me know about issues i may have with parts not related to the work they did if they notice it. Whether minor or major. Both my Chrysler 300 AND my 94 Impala SS only get touched by these gentlemen. JAY HAN IS THE MVP! Always polite, patient, and informative when I come in with 100 questions about my cars. Even if they arent currently working on them. Not everyone will have a great experience but they are always willing to correct what wasnt if you are willing to slide back thru.

This place is terrible I used to take all my cars here from advice from others. Learned the hard way car vandalized items stolen numerous times don't take responsibility had to threaten lawsuit to get my car fixed. THEY DO NOT RESPECT BLACK PEOPLE DONT COME HERE
