Exceptional service. I ve been here twice for brakes and motor pads. Mr. Eric at the front desk is very personable and assure that as a young woman i would not be taken advantage of. Mr. Clayton the mechanic is very thorough and goes above and beyond. Great communication about what needs to be done and how much it will be. Very grateful for this location and their outstanding staff! Thank y all!

My second time coming to this location.I come here for oil change there s no wait time at this Midas location. The guy that service the front desk area is always polite and ask if the customer s if they want any additional service if needed or recommended before adding the additional service charges. The prices are reasonable the storefront is clean and neat as well as the bathroom.This is my experience I would recommend this Midas location.

I swear I love this place so much I got an oil change here by myself while pregnant and the men here are so sweet so respectful, they said it would be a bit of a wait due to other people being there before me but they did it so quick the service was amazing it was just all around a good experience and I also called in today to get work done on my car and the guy that answered the phone was so respectful so sweet when I tell you I just love this place I don t feel nervous to go by myself as a female lol 100% would recommend to the ladies.

I have been going here for over 10 years (2 vehicles). I always feel comfortable with their recommendations (for the ladies :). The mechanics are honest and knowledgeable. The service is always timely and done properly.

I brought my car In for a estimate for a front tire rode. I was told they were unable to take my tire off due to a stripped lug Nut. While Checking my car several of the mechanic continually jerked on my tire causing my front tire to become wobbly. It seems to me my car is in worse condition than how I brought it in .I kinda felt like they were trying to take advantage of me because I am a women. I brought my parts with me and it seems to me that they were going to find anything to upcharge my service. Unprofessional, rude,

I go here and tell them I'm in a hurry I need to know how long it will take to give me an oil change and rotate my tires. They tell me an hour. 30 minutes in the guys just standing around not doing a thing. I asked them how's everything going they said fine. 45 minutes and I asked for an update they said there was no oil filter they had to wait for one to be delivered. I asked why he couldn't do the tire rotation while I was waiting on the oil filter then I decided to just take my car and go. I will try NTB next time

I love this Midas location. The staff is very friendly and trustworthy. They try their very best to get you in and out, as well as telling you what you may need without harassing you to do it.

No zero star option unfortunately. No one at the front desk upon entry, after a little while and grumpy older man came out and was completely unhelpful. Told him what kind of car I have, but he still felt the need to go outside to confirm that I knew what kind of car I drove. Then proceeded to search for 10 minutes for tires (I drive a common car) and was told there were no tires available for my car at all. Just go somewhere else, don t waste your time with this place.

Had to stop here after having an emergency with my car on 214. The front desk was great, but I was charged $109 just for a diagnosis of what was up and they wanted to charge me $700 to replace one of my ignition coils. For reference, the part can be purchased for $75 at AutoZone and my husband replaced it in about five minutes. After refusing their repairs, a mechanic was also pretty rude, asking if I didn't believe them. I would go here only if you absolutely must.

Absolutely amazing staff!! I am from out of town and usually go to the dealership to get anything done. The local dealership here didn't have my tire even though they are a Mazda dealership...anyway so I called Midas next because I thought I needed a new tire and manager told me to come in and have it checked. She was polite and friendly over the phone. In person she (Manager) was the nicest person I've dealt with in the automotive industry. Service was relatively quick and turned out i just needed a patch. Absolutely the best customer service. Will definitely be looking at working with Midas in my home town.

Got an oil change. 3 days later car had no oil in car. Engine locked. Went to corporate with paperwork and documentation after dealing with the incompetence filled employees. Filed a lawsuit and ended up being compensated for my cars loss after getting lawyers involvedNEVER GO HERE they are scammers for realService: Oil change

Master Cylinder was replaced, front rotors resurfaced. Still Dashboard Brake light was now on. Took back vehicle to find out connector was left unplugged. Still, good service & decent warranty on parts & labor.

Went in to see why coolant light was on. 30 minutes later, mechanic states he leveled it out and I was good. Two days later, coolant indicator on again. This Midas is horrible. Clayton old grumpy man horrible customer service making up prices. Power was down for two days and wanted to keep my car until power returned. Please save your money and do not come here. There are other Midas in the area if you have have to choose a Midas

The first time I went here for an oil change it was great.When it was about that time again, I got the runaround. First when I went they said the guy who does them had already gone home. It was around 5pm. So I left. I tried again the next week, and when I called they said the guy who does the oil changes was gone for lunch and wouldn't be back for a couple hours. So I went elsewhere and haven't been back. If they overlook the small business, they will not get the larger stuff, like now when I need alignments, brakes and tires.

Excellent customer service. Consummate professionals who take pride in thier work. Fixed several brake and rotor issues same day and made follow up recommendations for next few weeks! Felt like family.

This is the first of about four times I have visited this location without a real issues. But this visit ensures I won t be returning. I asked to have an oil change and replacement of one tire. The front desk person who was also a mechanic reminded me (from a previous call) that I could only pay cash. He insisted I pay for the oil change and tire although the tire would not arrive until the next day and directed me to an ATM next door (car wash). I went to get cash and the ATM is was out of service. Once I returned, miraculously, the debit/credit card machine was working. I told the cashier/mechanic that I was not paying for the tire until the job was finished. Then the bossman came from the other room stating he couldn t do that and asked for half. I told them it seems as if they didn t trust me. And this was after the cashier/mechanic professed to me that he was not stealing cash. Instead, I told them to cancel the order (for tire) and I paid for the oil change. I left highly offended and question whether Midas engages in shady business practices.

THIS Midas is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL the representative that answers the phone is rude and disrespectful . Midas checked my car 4 times in the last several months and told me everytime i did not need rotors for my car my car has gotten to the point of almost needed until a whole brake system replacement/repair because the rotors didn t get replaced in the right amount of time bad brakes can cause accidents thankfully i haven t had an accident but this is ridiculous. Then after asking if i can bring my vehicle here he tells me the hours of operation instead of setting a appointment and when i tell him ok I m on the way he tells me it s 3:45pm and that i need to bring my car in at 7am for a service that only takes a hour. Then he got aggressive on the phone. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO THIS TERRIBLE PLACE YOUR CAR WILL NEED MORE WORK DONE AFTER YOU LEAVE TRUST ME !!!!!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

I wish I could give this place no stars the manager Clayton however it s spelledWas extremely rude. I went in for a oil change with a coupon he didn t want to honor ok he then offered me 10.00 off I had another coupon for 15.00 off he said he would take that one and never entered the code. He then went into his office to answer a call and left me waiting for 15mins to enter in a freaking code. I said excuse me after waiting patiently he YELLS IM ON THE PHONE ok and I ve been waiting 15 mins and was there for a total of 30mins my car was never touched. I left you will never get my business

Unfriendly staff, but I can deal with that. The issue is that the front desk girl over priced me to change my axle and then I received a second opinion at another car shop I was told nothing is wrong with my axles. On top of that they charged me $44 to scuff my breaks. The same breaks they installed a few months prior with lifetime warranty.

As a new MD resident I was unsure where to get my car serviced. I didn't know who to trust for my routine work; oil change, tire rotations, etc. I can truly say that I had a great experience at MIDAS. I went in for an oil change and they removed a nail from my tire for free! They were very knowledgeable and helpful. I even had them change out a few filters at a very reasonable price. I never felt like they were trying to take advantage of me or upcharge me with unnecessary replacements/repairs (as a woman that's always on the back of my mind, I've had my share of oil changes that end up at $500 from upcharges!!). I had a minor issue w/ one of my hub caps and the manager was very helpful and assisted me with getting an entire new set! I highly recommend this MIDAS off Central Ave. They will take good care of you!!!

Great for your basic car maintenance needs. If you can get in early on a weekday you can get out in less than 2 hours. More economical option than going to the dealership for oil changes.

I came here to get my oil changed at 9am. They said it s a 2 hour wait, cool. Then it s 1pm and I m still waiting.. until 4pm my car was completely ready. FOR AN OIL CHANGE. On top of that, I get home and check it myself and THE CAP FOR MY OIL ISNT ON. There is oil all over my engine and hardly anymore oil left. First and last time coming to this place.

Needed a new Alternator. Easy to get to on a Highlander. They charged a ok amount. $375.91.I know it would have taken me a hour and under $200 but that wasn't the point. The only thing I didn't like was the $28.05 Shop Supply charge. hate up charges. But I need a oil change and I can walk there from work so I will call to drop it off next week.

I have received 5star service from Michael McIntosh and mechanics. I will continue to take a 17+ miles, 25min drive from my location, SW Washington dc to this Midas in Capital Heights md for this service.
