Terrible experience all around- they did work without approval, raised prices after work was done, and the work they did was extremely poor quality.Brought in a scooter for repairs and was told they needed a couple weeks to figure out how much it would cost. Didn't hear anything back despite calling and leaving messages twice, then I get a call that the work was done even though I had never gotten a quote or approved the work. The price would have been ok if the scooter had been fixed, but after I picked it up it broke down less than 3 miles from the shop (guess they don't test ride stuff after they 'fix' it). They brought it back to the shop and after another week told me it would be an additional $70 to fix it. Should have walked away then but I wanted the scooter back so I said ok. Then when I went to pick it up I was told it cost $100. Then when I drove it away it wouldn't get above 30 mph on flat ground, and if I wasn't constantly giving it a little gas it stalled out. Trashy work.I remember being told by a friend that everyone wants mechanic work to be high quality, fast, and cheap, but you can only ever get of those at a time. Well, with these guys can't get any of them.

Gus, and the mechanics at Scooter Solutions And Cycles are the best in the D.M.V hands down. They have the parts on location and the service is expedient.

I thought it was a good shop because they got my scooter running but ever since ive had to keep goin back to get something worked on TODAY NOVEMBER 22,2023 WAS THE LAST STRAWI WENT TO GET A NEW FRONT TIRE AND 3 HRS LATER IT WON T CUT ON AND THE BATTERY WAS SUPPOSEDLY NEW SO HOW TF DOES THAT EVEN HAPPEN IM JUST TAKING MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE BECAUSE I VE SPENT $1000 and i should have only spend that initial 500

I lost my job and I left my bike at the shop for service and I came back to retrieve it and the owner with an attitude sold it I had that bike for 4 years brought it all the way from New York and that bike was so rear the parts for it is hard to find if I don t get justice I ll take action in my own hand 10/24/23

PLEASE DONT TAKE YOUR SCOOTER HERE TRUST ME! GUS TOLD ME TO TAKE HIM TO COURT BECAUSE HE MESSED UP MY SCOOTER??? Can t respect this business they cheat around and even if it s their fault they won t admit it

Ive been trying to call this shop for 3 days straight. Phone either rings until voicemail comes on or the phone makes aneeping noise as if the line is occupied. highly dissapointed.

We have been buying bikes from Gus since 2015 a total of(7)49cc's we had a few issues at 1 time but over all Gus and the mechanics there are definitely dependable and the prices are reasonable.i didn't give them 5 stars only because Gus still owes me LED lights for 1 of my bikes

This place has really does a lot for the people that buy things for them I been going there for about 3 years. I had a 50cc and mother and son ask me to take it slow and now I had a 250 dirt bike and I'm in love with it now because it's doing what I need it to do. They know who I'm it's . Mom's it's very nice lady that's been though slot and her son stay off the street and open up something that maybe like. Well they are doing a good job.

I have been going to Gus for two years now and the work they do is hands down the best in the city,if you think they are kinda high go to any other scooter shops in the DMV and then you will see whose really high Lov the Guys at Scooter solutions and I will always take my business there.

Wish I could give less than 1 star.Brought my scooter for a rear flat tire on Saturday, had to call several times to know if it was ready. Always had an "I don't know, call back later" answerAfter one week I went to the shop to check in person. The scooter was ready, but they changed the front tire instead.They said the rear one was fine. How? Was flat when i brought it in!Got home e guess what? The rear tire is flat again. Seriously? I didn't even drive it. Was in the trunk!Basically robbed me of $90 and fixed the wrong thing that didn't need to be fixed.I wish I read the review before waste time and money.What a joke of a place.

I recently went to get a rear tire change for my dirt bike and I paid $50 to get it installed but when it was finished a week later and I rode it 4 sprockets were missing and the tire was riding off the rim and I didn t notice I was riding on the street and I made and a turn at around 30 mph and the back tire almost fell off and I could ve died or got seriously hurt I want answers or a refund or a replacement or I will have no choice to call the BBB and tell them all about it

Got a flat tire on my BMW G65O fixed and oil change in less than hour vs three week wait at Bob's BMW and at a tenth the cost.

This is the shop to go to. I needed alot of work done, and they handle it like first class professionals. I don't understand all the one stars or what service yall had done, but I have not only bought bike from them, but they are the place to go when you need work done. There is nothing they can't handle. There is no job they wint tackle.

Expensive on services after you purchase a bike from them & (1) rude employee. Gus is cool, tries to get over on prices on his services at which other prices are way cheaper but further out the way.Employees claim they don't speak English until you say something about money, then will understand you .I don't think I'll be back!

Paid Scooter Solutions $450 in repairs to get my bike running again, (issues with electrical hit & miss when starting). After repairs the bike ran good enough to get me home, then never started back up again.. Now i can t get them to return my call.. Bad Business

I purchased two bikes here and about to get a third and had my second one repaired twice here prices are good I compare them with the other ones on the cheap website they charge you $400 for shipping and handling and you have to put it together yourself. I don t know about all these other bad reviews I have never had a bad experience buying a scooter or getting mine repaired that my mans crashed.

I wish i could give this place negative stars. They do not work fast enough. I was told my part was order and it never was. I was told the labor would be $150 on top of the price of the part then i was told it was $250. My bike was there for 4 weeks i eventually ordered the part myself and went and got my bike from them took it somewhere else and they figured out what was wrong with my bike in 20 mins. Turns out what I was told at Scooter Solutions wasn t even what was wrong with my bike and they were about to charge me $600 for something that didn t need to be fixed and that still wasn't going to fix the bike because it still wasn't running...glad i got my bike from them because who knows how long it was going to be before i got my bike back. Everytime i was at the shop which was every other day for a month all the same customers were there everyday with the same issue or bringing bikes back they bought brand new from them because it was not working properly. I would not recommend this shop to anyone unless you are prepared to not have your bike for a month or more. Really not at all its too much going on there and they need some faster workers and better customer service.

I bought a 150cc scooter from Scooters Solutions about 2 months ago, the owners Gus And Mariana were very helpful, and helped me out ,not once, but twice, picking my scooter up and taking it to their shop, scooters running great now, recommend and I consider them friends, safe travels to everyone at scooter solutions.

I took my moped to them to get fixed on Saturday August 1st 2020, it has been almost 2 weeks since then and i have yet to get an update from them. Thea charge $60 to look at it then they're supposed to call you. I never received ieved a call I have to keep calling them for updates. They don t answer the phone I just called 20 times back to back no one answered. When they did answer last week I was told it would be ready this monday which was August 10th, i kept asking well how much more do I have to pay they kept saying they don t know. I went up there my bike was not ready, he did not have a total estimate he promised yet again he would call me back. Took my name and number for the 3rd time! And still never called. I bought a moped to have transportation throughout DC I don t have a ride to get there every day to keep not getting liable information. Horrible customer service I do not recommend!

Believe all those bad reviews. This place is not good .The owner is a very rude person with a broken English. The place is dirty, and they charge different prices for the same service to each customer. In addition, they steal parts from your motorcycle . They re not reliable and not trustworthy. DO NOT GO THERE.

Worst repair shop ever - thieves and crooks. They took several week to repair, were told not to exceed 200 and that the scooter had a brand new expensive battery ($85 from Auto Zone) in it that was only 2 weeks old. The stole the battery and put in a cheap replacement, charged 245 for the repair and then had the nerve to say I did not pick it up soon enough and I had to pay for storage.I hope they think it was worth screwing me over because I am now filing numerous complaints with the regulatory agencies - I want their license pulled and I am thinking they need to be sued. I was the wrong dude to screw over.

I always have the idea to buy one bike in this place and always specting will have good experience !! When i finally go to this place i was very sad the service was completely bad and rude and more sad because " gus" in person attended me i can't believe the owner was so rude !! And the most ironic is i was in 5 store or shop and the 5 store sent me whit him because is the only shop in the area that can deal whit this tipe of scooter ssr,apollo,colestar, and other brands apparently gus not have idea about it !! Anyway was my first and last visit at this place !! No recommend visiting this place !!

i had a bad experience. i brought my scooter in for an upgrade 80cc and made me wait for 4hrs., and still didn t finished the job so i had to leave my scooter in their shop for the whole night. when i came back the other day some of the parts of my scooter were missing the break seem a little bit different. they told me it was like that when i brought it in. which isnt true. dont come to this shop if you re not gonna watch what they re doing they might do you bad just like what they did to me!!!

I bought my first scooter from here and since thenI ve made them my place to go when I need something done.. Gus makes sure I m good to go when I leave.. and he is reasonable when it comes to the prices Go shop wit my man GUS
