If I could give this place no stars, I would. I was referred by Geico after an accident. My cars initial damage was fixed in a timely manner however there were multiple unrelated areas of my car that were damaged in the process...they broke a window and scraped up the interior of my car. It took me MONTHS and dozens of calls to get my car fixed. I was given every excuse under the sun on why they couldn't fix it sooner (back order, part was lost, they thought it came but it didn't, more back order, "parts guy" is out, it's lunch time, etc...). Almost 9 months later and a few dozen headaches, my car was finally fixed.I will admit, their customer service in person is great and they are very kind people, however they are not reliable at all and will take advantage of your kindness and patience. I'm convinced that the only reason they fixed their errors is because we threatened to report them to Geico. Stay far away from this place unless you are ready for a headache. I wish I read the reviews beforehand.

The service here was great! Convenient rental car pickup and drop off. They did great work and even completed it a few days early. Not only did they make the repairs but they vacuumed the interior of the car and washed the exterior. (The also disinfected the car before having me pick it up)

I had a great experience here , They were one of my ins companies places they use . The service for my entire process , start to finish was excellent. They use a text system to keepYou updated daily, I was able to leave my rental with them which was super convenient! My vehicle turned out really nice and Mike was the best !! He was very professional, polite , and helpful through the entire process !! I highly recommend Hyattsville Auto Body!!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Really good body shop with a Geico representative on staff. They took care of my damage pretty quick and the employees were very nice. Car lot is usually pretty crowded though.

I had an insurance inspection here scheduled through GEICO. I was on time on May 30th at 9:30am, and the shop manager took a full set of photos but never uploaded them to GEICO. They gave me a bad attitude when I told them I wasn t leaving the vehicle with them. They never submitted the paperwork and they told GEICO that I missed the appointment. Huge waste of time, unprofessional and disorganized garage, would not recommend.

The overall work appears to be good. They are 7 minutes from my home so they are convenient. They are also close to the Enterprise Rental Car about 5 minutes away so it was easy for them to pick up the rental. Ford did not bring the correct small piece for my car so I have to go back to the shop the week of July 11 for them to put the missing piece on.

I usually don t leave reviews , but they deserve it! They did a phenomenal job on my car! The people in the office are super friendly and professional. Mike was really nice and helpful! My car looks brand new! They even cleaned my car. I m really impressed and grateful. I definitely will be referring people to them. Thanks again guys!

These guys were amazing, completed everything on my brand new Toyota RAV4 exactly as they said, and has a great sense of humor to boot. I enjoyed every moment working with them, and they even do the Geico assessments themselves so you don't need to deal with your insurance company at all! 11/10Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

I've had good experience over the years but last year they fixed my vehicle and did a supplement for additional things to be fixed but didn't capture some things. I have a remote starter which was working when I dropped the key off and when I picked it up it has not worked. I've been calling the shop for a little over a month and today I was told the owner will not fix it. I now I have to go through legal due to they will not take the initiative to fix my starter key. It hreplacement. The battery area when I tried to change the battery. I'm assuming someone was careless and put my starter key near some type of liquid. Also if the owner would have looked at the camera they would see that my alarm worked when I dropped my vehicle off to the shop due to i locked it from inside of their office before getting into a rental.. This was very unprofessional of them and I'm sorry I will no longer do business with them and have rerouted others not to as well. I have to take off work to go file a claim with the courthouse. I had to call them multiple of times for the owner to say he will not cover the replacement starter key.

DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!! Stay clear from this shop if you re working through their Geico account. I went to go drop off my car and explained to them the extent of the damage, they brushed it off as if I didn t know what happened to my car. I never received a call from them to know if my car was ready, I called because they only covered 7 days of my rental any extra days I would have to pay. The next day I get a call letting me know I can pick up my car. I go pick up my car and customer service was horrible the guy gave my Keys paper work and told me everything was fine, as soon as I get home I inspect my car and realize that they didn t fix my side mirrors, and my Toyota emblem which i specifically told them were damaged during the accident. I open the trunk up and it was full dust, they stole my license plate cover and pocket knife, the paint job was horrible and was noticeable in the sun, the buff marks looked like scratches, my rear number had 2 cracks. I take it back to the shop and let them know and one of the guys tells me all they can do right now is put a pin on the rear bumper and to take it back to get the paint fixed, the problem was I had to leave out of state so I had no time. I ve worked with 3 body shops and this by far the worst experience ever. I recommend McDonald s auto body shop 5 minutes awayServices: Painting, Body & Trim

I honestly have never had a better experience with an auto body shop. I have a Wrangler with plenty of aftermarket parts. Hyattsville Auto Body was beyond accommodating and helpful with getting my truck back on the road. I went there for my Geico claim, and I will definitely return for future work. The shop is deceiving in sight, because it s a small lot for the amount of work being done. But they did not disappoint. The staff is knowledgeable and has great customer service. I felt very comfortable leaving my vehicle and knew they would get the job done.

Unfortunately I've had to use these guys more times than I'd like but they have been awesome every single time. They always go over the work with you before you take your vehicle and are always willing to fix something if it's not to your satisfaction. Mike is particularly great!

I chose this place because it was recommended by Geico. The parking lot is annoyingly tight. The online picture of it is taken at an angle, I had no idea where to park when I first pulled up. There could be better direction with that but overall my experience was pleasant. The front desk ladies are informative. The process was to the point and everything was made clear expect the shiesty enterprise ppl they have on site. The workers of the shop actually fixed my car well. The first accident I got into I took it to a Honda dealership and when I got it back it didn t feel like my sweet baby anymore. When I got my car back from this body shop it had that feeling of familiarity like it was fixed up properly and reAdy to be driven like when I first got it. I don t think Honda did my repairs as well as they did and they cleaned washed and looks like waxed my car for free. I m greatfull for that.

Just wanted to share something I experienced today with the Hyattsville community you have a great person and business owner right in your own community Hyattsville auto body inc. I own small traffic control company and one of my employees dropped their flag Pole on to a car and put several large black marks down this young lady's brand new vehicle. She expressed to me that her body man was located at Hyattsville auto body so I proceeded to follow the young lady over there to get an estimate to make the repairs to her vehicle and upon arriving at Hyattsville auto body inc. The owner himself came out to survey the damage and after approximately 5 minutes of looking at the customer's car he said wait a minute I will be right back he walked inside came out with a rag and a special solution and was able to wipe all of the marks and scratches from the customer's vehicle. As a business owner myself I know that time is not cheap I tried to give the owner cash for his time and he absolutely refused just wanna let the Hyattsville community now you deathly have a good business and a good man located in your community spread the word and try to give him as much business as possible

My experience was awesome and I really appreciate their persistence to follow up in ensuring that my vehicle was in perfect condition and available to address any concerns. To add, love the fact that they had an Enterprise svc rep, Mr. Shegun there on the spot to have my rental waiting for me. Team Mike!

I love this place. I first went there due to an auto accident. The Geico rep there was very nice and assisted me thru the whole process of getting my vehicle repaired. Not only that the entire staff from front desk to auto techs were awesome and always friendly. I was so please, I referred my dad there when he had his accident and he was also impressed and please with their service and great attitude. I continued to take my vehicle there for other services, my vehicle was done when Im told it will be done and a complete breakdown of everything I needed is given to me before and after. and I am welcomed with great service everytime! Mikey is the manager there and he is the most kind, humble human being ever!! He is a great leader and its no wonder he has such a great staff. I will always continue to take my vehicles there and I recommend this location to everyone. If you want great service and you want to feel like your money is well spent. You should definately go here.

Very professional and the work done to my 2020 Hyundai Sonata was excellent!!! Definitely recommend this place for anyone in need of major or simple cosmetic repairs on your vehicle!

I've been using Hyattsville Auto Body for years now. Almost every member of my family goes there for auto body repairs. The entire staff is always friendly and our cars come back looking brand new. I highly recommend this place.

Would never recommend this place. Definitely family owned that is the only possible way that most of the staff in the office could still be employed. Customer service was poor and management was awful when dealing with resolutions. Stay clear they are clearly over their heads. Owner is never on site. Beer and hunting is their major concern....not fixing cars and adhering to deadlines.

This is the worst auto body shop you can ever come to..I would not recommend no one to get their car repaired here.. brought my car in just for front bumper repair and got my hair with my turning wheel was hard to turn all these lights were on my dash that were not there before or while bringing my car to this shop..The owner had no care in the world basically just said he don t care take your care and go when my car was in conditions that I could possibly get into an accident.Service: Body & Trim

i absolutely hate this place. i ended up there after the GEICO people suggested i go to one of their locations instead of my dealer, for my 2004 mini cooper. boy was that a bad idea.i went in for some repairs on a broken driver side window, and some cosmetic damage from the break-in. i had actually had the window repaired at safelite already, but they told me (and showed me) that i had some internal door damage. this was december 30 2008. it is now april 6 2009 and the issue is still not cleared up.the GIECO rep, moiria, is quite frankly incompetent. during the initial assessment of the car, i mentioned some broken parts inside my door. and described them. repeatedly, so she wouldn't forget. she forgot. she also forgot to replace some window trim. and when my car was at the garage, my shifter knob was damaged.after i got my car back the first time... the door could not be opened from the inside! i mean, they hadn't even replaced the parts inside the door, but they managed to screw it up. they also did a sloppy job installing my A-frame trim pieces. if you have a coop, or have seen one, this is the vertical plastic piece between the windshield and the side window.they never call you. i was told multiple times that they'd "call when the parts came in". then i'd go for a week or so hearing nothing. i'd call back and they'd say "oh yeah the PART is here, come in". i'd ask if they had all THREE parts. and then of course after being on hold for a few minutes, it became. "oh. uh. we'll call you when the parts come in..."then i'd wait a few more weeks. i'm a grad student, near the end of my dissertation. i don't have time to sleep let alone think about chasing after someone to do their job correctly. so then i'd get a call asking why i'd never come in. then i'd tell them i never received my call. then they'd tell me i did. like i WANT to be driving around in a car that needs to be repaired but just chose not to?i called to bring my car in last friday, to have the last three parts installed. they said it'd take a half hour, but they were busy so could i come in on monday. i brought the car in at 10am, and all of a sudden now it's "a couple hours".now, it's 5pm, and i haven't heard anything yet. i'm about to call them. but i'm not optimistic.EDIT: no good. i got the car back but guess what? the window doesn't go down all the way. yeah, that's right. they screwed it up AGAIN.i'd recommend staying away from this place, much like the plague.

Awful customer service, irresponsible inspection work, totally not a reliable store in general. WASTE OF TIME.The phone receptionist has no respect for customers at all.

Had a small issue with the car not being ready when it was supposed to be due to an error on their part BUT I will say that they owned up to it and then even came in outside of their normal business hours to fix the car and get it back to me s soon as possible. Thanks to Mike there.
