Both of my USB charging cables were stolen out of the car at the dealership. Including the one kept inside the console as a backup.Technicians left broken glass inside the door panel. Loose, rattling glass, inside the door. I had to make a request with the service agent to have the technicians remove the broken glass.The car was brought in for service due to an attempted theft that destroyed the ignition and triggered the immobilizer. The ignition was technically left in the on position until it killed the battery. The battery should have been included in the service package and covered under my comprehensive. The car wouldn't start upon pick-up. I had to wait for them to install a new battery under warranty.Absolute clown show.The service rep was a saint, though. 5/5 for the rep.*Photo included. The white charging cable was still present after the car was vandalized.

Another exemplary service experience at KIA of Bowie today. Since day 1, team impressions have been outstanding. A short notice visit, with no appointment . Issue resolved with my 2024 Telluride Prestige. Thanks to all of the employees at this dealership. Also congratulations Dante with the promotion !!. I will always highly recommend KIA of Bowie.

This is the best Kia Service experience so far in past 4 years of me being a Kia owner. I ve been coming here for last 3 times to get my car serviced and Jacob is my representative. He is such a professional and actually cares about the guests. Big shout out to Jacob and his work ethic! Thanks!

So my issue is the lack of concern for the urgent repair of a customer s vehicle impairment. And as noted by the other complaints the lack of resolve to increase productivity by implementing a hiring process to get more certified technicians to assess and repair problems. This location has no problem with scheduling a maintenance appointment. However, when the propeller shaft boot tore on my 2022 Sorento while driving it, I could not be seen until February. I made the maintenance appointment the next day and that diagnosis was identified, I was told they ordered the part and it would come in on Monday or Tuesday and that they would fix by the end of the following week. I called on Wednesday to see if the part arrived, it had, no one called, but was then told they could not get me in until December 18th I have travel arrangements during that time. What is a single car owner supposed to do. I am now left with trying to find another dealership to fix a problem that is covered under warranty and I am perplexed as to why this problem has happened. My concern is also that this car was purchased from this location and I expected services to be provided in the community in which I live. Jacob said it s just like when you can t get in to see the doctor you just have to wait my come back should have been and how many folks have died because of that . I purchased new to have a dependable mode of transportation and received excellent service from my salesman Eric, but the lack of sympathy from this service department for the massive car issues plaguing its owners needs to be addressed and an attempt to resolve the issues by offering incentives, over time, training benefits to the service mechanics to eliminate the load should be considered. One day, this location may find that business is no longer an opportunity because they are unable to meet the needs of the customer. I write because other dealerships understand the needs of their customers and sincerely make an effort to provide excellent customer service.

Much improved. Had a bad experience here a few years ago. Looks like they've redone some things since then. The service writer was very friendly. Took a few extra hours than what they told me, but I've learned to accept that with service centers. Overall, not bad.

Just absolutely terrible. Disgustingly terrible service. I ve dropped off our new car Atleast 3 times in the last year where it was forgotten about and kept over night just for a recall.. as if I have multiple vehicles and can live a day without going to work, doctors appointments or bringing my children to school. I have reported it again and again to their gm and it keeps happening. There are no other dealerships in the area which makes me a complete prisoner of this horrible dealership. We bought our car from a gm in GA and even if he wasn t our friend, their service is superior and incredible and always on time.. I hate going here.Service: Auto maintenance

The issue started with Kia of Oxon Hill when I needed A/C repair service. It took 2 1/2 months to get an appointment so by the time I got it in July the warm months were almost over. But the A/C only stayed cold for 2 months so by September it wasn t working again. So I held off and called Kia of Bowie today 4/20/2023. I could not get an appointment until Aug 23. 4 months to get your vehicle serviced is ridiculous!! How is this possible?? 4 months? My fear is waiting another 4 months and then the A/C only lasting 2 months again. Kia what s up?? We need answers please???

Update: Rating changed from 1 star to 4 stars. Ryan, the service manager, ensured that my issue was corrected quickly & professionally. Thank you!I came in to have an oil change & a plastic bolt replaced in the under carriage that I noticed had been removed after a previous service visit. After requesting several times the bolt be replaced, I was told the bolt had been replaced during my checkout. My husband checked my car to verify since this was not listed on my invoice & there was still no bolt. When I called back to speak to a manager, I was told one was not available & to call back at a later time. I m now leery that the services I have been paying for are being completed properly at this location.

I ve used their service a couple of times. But, this time is my last straw. Have been waiting for my car going on the 4th week now. With no clear updates . I try to get in contact with my service advisor without having to constantly come up there, and I get no response. They just give me the run around. Just terrible, seems they truly don t care

Called April 19 for a 15,000 mile service on a 2020 Kia Soul. Manual calls for oil change and filter and tire rotation plus systems inspection. First available was May 11. Quoted price was about $135 but did not specify what would be done. When I asked for details the price included items that manual does not require. Quoted price for items required by manua was about $85. I did not make an appointment because I need the service now, not four weeks from now, and I do not trust a dealer who jacks up the price without explanation.
