Oct 27, 2023 I purchased a spare tire over the phone for my 2016 Mazda 6, was told it should b there by monday, It wasn't, that's fine, said they would call me to let me know when, never called. I called about Thursday, still wasn't there. Finally the next week I go to get it at the Brandywine location. I grab it, put it in the spare tire space, sticks up about 3 inches. I said this isn't the spare for this car (I know because it doesn't fit in the space for the spare tire and the tag says 4in, but the tire clearly is not). Guy at the warehouse agreed. I call the the north Crain hwy to fix the issue. Said they had to reorder the tire and get the correct size. Finally on November 24 I'm told it's at the Brandywine location. I get there and they have, what looks like, the same tire. It still doesn't fit in the spare tire spot. I put the tire in the space, then looked at the guy who brought it out and said this doesn't fit man, this isn't the spare for this vehicle. All he could do was shake his head no. I said whatever. Told him if they wanna give me a full size tire for a spare that's fine. I took the tire and left. Almost a month to order a spare tire and i still need a spare tire. No choice but to take my business elsewhere, because they clearly can't get the job done

Went there today and Mr BILLY is angel sent. I called ahead of time to ensure they had what I needed. His customer service is outstanding. Treated me like a daughter and I appreciate him. Definitely recommend for your auto parts.

Buyer beware, bought an electrical part from them that was bad. They do not give refunds unless they do not have another. Of course they will have another because its a junk yard, they will just go and snatch another out another junked car. How can customers avoid scams from business that may knowingly be selling parts that are bad, and keep selling it for profit. Buyer beware.

If you're a woman, don't bother doing business with them unless you want the employee to completely disregard you as a human being. I called and started to ask for a part and he asked to speak with the man he heard in the background "because he probably knows more than you". Misogyny at its best.Update:In response to your comment I will detail the call exactly.I called that morning looking for a specific part that my husband and I accidentally sent back with the old motor the day prior. He was calling one place and I was calling Brandywine.Employee: Brandywine Auto PartsMe: Hi, I'm looking for a part for a 2008 Jeep.....Employee cuts me off: Can I speak with Mr. Jennifer?Me: Excuse me?Employee: You come up on our caller ID as Jennifer, can I speak with Mr. Jennifer, the guy I hear I the background, he probably knows more than you.Me-So incredibly stunned that I just hand the phone to my husband and walk away.Yes, my husband does know more than me in regards to vehicles. I was not even given the opportunity to speak. I was fully capable of order and asking for what we were looking for. It was absolutely inexcusable to be treated in that manner and to be disregarded as if I was not an equal human being.

Fantastic customer service. Great parts, Reasonable pricing and always helpful. They have gone out of their way to help us find good condition parts and again, the customer service is outstanding. Jamie, was terrific to deal with on our last purchase.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I purchased a motor in June with only a 30 day warranty, which took almost a month to get delivered even tho I was told a couple weeks. By the time the motor got delivered the mechanic shop was completely booked and wasn t able to install the motor until this past weekend. The motor I purchased is junk and I paid 1700 dollars for it, along with an invoice from the mechanic shop of 2000 dollars to install it. The motor I purchased was supposedly tested which the mechanic shop is saying is impossible due to the white smoke coming from my car. So in total I ve spent around 4000 dollars just to still not have my car due to a bad motor I purchased from this place. I spoke to Phil and apparently there isn t anything he can do which is crazy to me. I m not the type to do bad reviews but 4000 dollars wasted just isn t sitting right with me!

This is the most unorganized auto place in the Maryland area don't go there .... they have the dumbest representatives trying to sell you parts that are useless .... if you get the warranty they will try to not honor it all the way ..... got a transmission put in bought it from them it went out two weeks later took over a month for the new transmission to come in and they try to double charge me

I didn't have the chance to buy or use their actual services but my car broke down outside of their store. They were nice enough to allow me to sit there and wait for my tow, enjoy the cool air rather than the heat outside and gave me cold water. Class A establishment on my books. Always had the parts for my dad and mom's auto body shop. They had parts for me. If ever the part wasn't available here, they made calls and always located the parts.

My experience at the Bowie location was ok. Billy was super awesome and helpful.My issues are that I was told my items had to be pulled still. So I waited for about 2 hours outside in my vechical and than when I called to check in, I was told that the parts weren t good and that alternate ones were ordered and would be there the next day. My issue is more so why aren t things like this already pulled and put in inventory so that someone doesn t have to wait hours to find out that a part isn t good? I was annoyed but ok with coming back. Got the call to come pick up and when I arrived, only one part was ready and I was made to look through the yard to find my other one which they didn t have ones that were good enough to buy and had to be refunded. I don t think they should make you pay first and then get the run around.

I brought and engine for a madza cx9 however and 2018 engine that was sent to the auto place and the mechanic A.j said it wouldn't work however Bill sent a 2014 engine to the shop and A.j said that wouldn't work either however I was charged a restocking fee for one of the engine and not for the other however I appreciate that but show I been charged for the 2018 engine idk smh I am glad I gotten something back I don't really trust any of these services when it come to a vehicle just be careful again I appreciate getting something back

The guy we saw really seemed that he had not much knowledge about our vehicle. This was just for a headlight assembly. The quote we received was half the price he said on the phone than when we went there to pay in advance. To say the least, we did not get it. We have gone there in the past and they were good. This guy knew nothing about our vehicle.

Brandywine's Bowie Truck and Van location is great and has one of the best staff that I have dealt with at a salvage yard. They are very helpful with any and all requests, searches, and even locating parts they don't have in the yard. I highly recommend this site!

Worst place period. Poor customer service! I was told a pet would be ready I drove over an hour to get there and still had to wait 2 days. Then drive back up there and it s the wrong part simply ridiculous! Use them as the last resort seriously. You have better luck on eBay.

I bought a part for my 4runner but then I told them that I wanted to cancel the order. I called them the same day to cancel the order and was told that they could not. And then after several attempts they said yes but that they would charge me 35%. I spent $ 900 and only $ 600 returned. I lost $300 dollars :(

Waited a week for a part that they told me would only take 2-3 business days to get to my shop. When we called, they said they had left us multiple messages saying the part was damaged and they would not be delivering. No one in this shop received a call from Brandywine, which means they either called the wrong number or they're lying. Every time I order a part from them it either doesn't show up, it's extremely late, or the part is rusty and trashed. Order your stuff from somewhere else.

I came to this place looking for something minor and I was able to find more than I was looking for. A very good place to find used auto parts at a decent price. I go there all of the time.

Total waste of time and gas! None of the local junkyards had the late model vehicle I needed parts from. Kept calling farther and farther away trying to locate a junked compatible model to pull the parts, this Brandywine location was an hour and half away, and said they had several vehicles that I was looking for. Because of the distance, I had to wait till the next week to get out there during their business hours. When I arrived, the claim of several dropped to one. After spending an hour and half walking their entire yard twice, I asked them to help me locate the vehicle. Only then did they checked their computer and told me they didn't have any. Then they tried to claim I must have called another brandywine location, I checked my phone, it was their location. If you try this location, take into account they may just completely waste your time telling you they have something that they don't.

This was a nightmare of an experience. With lots of time and energy waisted. Lots of broken "promises."It all started with a call to the Bowie location for an 02 jeep liberty radiator of which I was told they had one on location that was still attached and needed to be pulled but in the fort Washington location there was a radiator and the fender that I had requested already off of the vehicle...I drove out to pick up these two parts and the radiator was nowhere to be found and needed to be deleted out of inventory. Liz had told me incorrect information multiple times that set me back about 4 hours of my time.All in all it was an atrocious experience that I hope to never repeat. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the owner Steve was excellent and very reasonable.
