It was like a Hallmark Movie:) Chris was amazing to answer our call on Christmas morning after our alternator went out while traveling from VA to IN. Our insurance co. struck out on finding a tow service, Chris quickly suggested a reputable driver who showed up right away. We felt confident leaving our minivan with him to be serviced while we continued our travels. A good friend from MD showed up in flannel shirt (just like in the movies) and loaned us their family van so we could finish our journey. Chris did amazing work at a great price and we picked up the car on our way back to VA the next week. If we lived closer to Big Pool, I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Chris came in clutch on an emergency radiator hose that had my 3500 overheating left and right. Super friendly and helpful, went the extra step calling shops and dealerships trying to resolve the issue. Highly recommend. Thanks again!

I TRULY cannot recommend Chris at Western MD Auto more highly. I was on a road trip last month and my check engine and battery lights came on at the same time. It was 8pm Sunday night so all car shops were closed, the roads were dark and I did not know the area (young female traveling alone, not a great feeling). Luckily I saw Western MD Auto was open 24 hours-- I called and Chris came out to the shop to help me right away. He assessed my car quickly and determined I needed a new battery and alternator. He called around for parts but everywhere was closed, so he told me where I could find a hotel nearby (literally caravaned with me there in case my car broke down on the drive). He didn't even charge me an assessment fee since he didn't have the parts on hand. He reached out before I even woke up the next day to tell me he had gotten the parts and could get to work as soon as I was ready. He did the work quickly, and even as he found other things wrong with my car he gave an honest assessment of what was needed for a safe drive back and what could wait. He charged a very fair price for his labor-- way lower than somewhere else would have. Some of the most professional and quality service I have ever experienced. Everyone should go here!!Heads up: my cell/internet didn't work as I was approaching the shop, so download your maps and make your calls before you get there!

The shop is clean, prices are reasonable and fair, and Christian is one of the most knowledgeable mechanics in MD. He's fixed problems that have been overlooked by other shops quickly and efficiently. I've reccomended Christian to all my friends and family who need work done at a fair price. Christian will quickly diagnose the problem, take the time to explain what work needs to be done, and will keep your car running for years to come.

Had a plug in my tire on the way to Baltimore and Christian was more than helpful to get it plugged during a panic time for me. They did proper diagnostics/ did their dull diligence to make the proper decision if I could just get it plugged for the time being or a replacement. Recommend the friendly and responsive service.

I brought my car in for a squealing belt as well as the AC/Heater as it went out. He was able to diagnose the problem very quickly and get me back on the road in no time. Christian is who I will be going to from now on. Even though it is a bit of a drive for me it is 100% worth it. I have never had such professionalism and honestly from a mechanic. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

I had a really bad tire leak on a Saturday afternoon and they not only fixed it super quick but fixed the tire pressure in all my tires and checked my fluids and topped off my coolant.
