Didn t think they initially explained the rational for brake fluid replacement in a superb manner. Doesn t appear that it was really needed since it had been replaced not too long before that. My understanding is that if they had cleaned the brake fluid container outside, they would have had a better assessment of the brake fluid condition, and presumably noticed that replacement was not highly advisable at the time.

I had a disappointing experience at this auto shop, primarily due to the lack of respect shown by the front desk staff. I was assured my car would be ready for pick-up on the same day, but upon arrival, I was informed it would not be available until the next day. When I called the following day, I was told my car could not be picked up until Monday. Moreover, they moved my car to another location for an inspection without my consent. When I finally picked up my car, it began making strange noises. Upon addressing this issue with them, they completely shirked responsibility. Extremely unprofessional and frustrating service.

Frank was so helpful and the process was transparent from start to finish. He beat my quote from BMW at only 2/3 what they would have charged for the same parts/service, which was a surprise and relief. He showed me what was damaged while it was up and then showed me all of the old parts that had been removed when I went to pick up my car. Will definitely be back the next time my X3 has issues.

Very nice to work with. Frank and his team got me in and out the same day, fixing an electrical problem the dealership somehow couldn t handle in 9 months (for a fraction of the quoted price as well). Will come back for continued service!

This auto repair experience was professional, thorough and communicative. Frank kept me informed of the service timing and car's requirements and searched options to make my auto repair as reasonable in price as possible. I will definitely return toMetro Motor/River Road Auto Haus in the future.

This place saved me in a pinch. They fixed my issue ahead of the schedule and were incredibly attentive and available. Frank, the service manager, is awesome. He s super friendly and helpful. I came back for a separate issue a few days later and Frank helped me on his lunch break. I would recommend it!

I went to this shop without an appointment when my temperature sensor suddenly stopped working and Frank, the store manager, was extremely helpful, thorough, and direct once he and his team diagnosed the problem. You can tell they know what they're doing there and that they definitely run a tight ship. Great experience!

I just spoke with Lionel. He said he'd charge me $280 to install and balance 4 tires 235/65 R18 (very common tire). Don't get scammed, people! It shouldn't be that expensive

We called for a tow from this place. They said they d be there in about an hour. After close to an hour an a half we saw one of their tow trucks idling about a block away. We asked the driver if he was there to tow us and he said he d call his boss. A few minutes later he drove away. We called again and the guy answering the phone said only we were going to send someone as if was past tense and they had no actual plan to. If you run a towing service isn t it your job to tow? But apparently they didn t want our business so you shouldn t give them yours. They never called us despite having our number to say they were coming or would be later than quoted. I d give zero stars but Google doesn t let you.

Took the car in as light came on saying something wrong with battery. Talked about an issue I had on a trip where the car wasn't getting to temperature. Let then know I was going on another trip. The battery turned out to be going bad, no surprise 4 years old, changed out thermostat, and wound up needing new brakes. Did have to go back next day as battery light came back on. Everything checked out and codes cleared. They immediately looked at car when I came in. Service tech knowledgeable and friendly.

Had a nail in my tire and called in to get it checked at 845am. It's 910am and now it's fixed.I'm never going anywhere else.

Alex was amazing to work with. He quickly diagnosed the issues with the car and put together a repair plan. He got the parts the next day and had my car ready quickly. Price was reasonable. Communication was superb. And Alex followed up multiple times to make sure the car was running smoothly. Cannot recommend more highly. The service was exceptional.Service: Transmission

Was quoted $160 for an oil change on a 10 year-old VW. They said it would take an hour and a half even though each bay was empty (and I had scheduled it the day before). The Shell across the street quoted $100 and 30 minutes with no appointment.The guy at the counter tried to give the our oil is better speech as if full synthetic is somehow rare. They came across as dishonest, dismissive, and expensive.

Wow. What a terrible experience I just had there. I have been coming here for years and honestly thought I had found a mechanic for life. Was treated horribly rudely and told to take my business elsewhere when I just came in to have a simple check engine light looked at.I never write a review, but I'm genuinely extremely disappointed. This place used to be absolutely wonderful. All the reviews were true. But apparently, unfortunately, they've been under new management since this last September and I'll be going elsewhere. Don't need rude service when there are other options for mechanics in the area.Very disappointed.

My daughter, who is a college student, had her Prius towed to Metro Motors for the first time and they were amazing. They were patient and most importantly honest about the work that had to be done to get her back on the road. As a parent who is in another state they put my mind at ease that she would be taken care of. Alex was especially nice and took time to speak with me as well. If you re looking for a honest car mechanic Ricardo is your guy. He has saved me lots of money on my car repairs for years. I found him at the Metro Motor location in Arlington. I was recently informed of his promotion which does not surprise me. He offers the best customer service that I have experienced in a auto repair shop.
