Karl at Imperial Auto Body in Bethesda was extremely helpful with a very difficult case when our family car was severely damaged by a fallen tree limb and delayed for an extended period because of Honda USA s part delays (being on critical back order). Despite delays and frustrations (and costly car rental bills not covered by insurance), we could rely on Karl and Imperial AB to keep on top of this unbelievably long process so any progress we made wasn t lost. Thankfully our car was finally repaired once Honda supplied the part (which had to be delivered twice because of shipping damages) after 7 long months. Throughout Karl was vigilant in helping us to understand arising complications, answering all of our questions, following up on any reported changes of the situation s status, and letting us know what we could do to exert any influence with the other parties (including our insurance company) to make sure our car could eventually be fixed and returned. Once again, my car was dinged up in a collision. I took it to Imperial Auto Body and these guys made the process so easy and hassle free. They took care of everything regarding the rental, gave me a realistic timeline, kept me up to date with with emails, and even had my car finished a day early. Most importantly, the work was flawless! You could never tell that my car had been in an accident a week earlier. These guys are experts and have mastered their craft. They been doing it for a long time and I would not take my car anywhere else at this point. In the last 10 years, they have worked on 4 of my cars and so far they have been nothing short of perfection. Thank you guys, you came through again! I am extremely happy and satisfied!

I had my audi S5 repaired at Imperial Auto. First accident in my life, and I was very nervous to deal with repair shop and my insurance company. But Karl was very honest and informative regarding the repair process, and he answered my questions in a very professional manner. The insurance company tried to use after market parts (of course), but Tigran, who managed the repair went beyond my expectation and got everything approved using OEM parts only. Considering the fact that the total cost of the repair was over $20,000, this is a huge win for me. I paid only my deductible. My S5 came back like a brand new. There was small things that I wanted to be corrected, and they were willing to correct those without any charges. I really appreciate their professionalism and quality of work. Imperial Auto Body treats their customers like family. Every time I have had body work, I only come to this garage as their work is amazing and flawless and they treat you like family. Karl was amazing to work with and easy to communicate with. If you want to be treated fairly, then come to the Bethesda location as you will not regret it.Service: Body & Trim

IAB did a great job repairing my car after a collision. Each person I spoke with on the phone was polite and resourceful. They guarantee their work much longer than typical auto body shops in our area. Thanks Karl for all your help on pick up day.

Karl was easy to work with and had great communication. He even saved me some money and went over all of the details thoroughly. My car is as good as new and was repaired quickly. Conveniently located near Metro in downtown Bethesda. I highly recommend and would definitely use them again.

Fantastic work on severe bumper damage to my 2018 Audi Q5. I particularly appreciate how they took extra time to locate high quality but relatively inexpensive replacement parts. It took a bit longer but was worth the wait. Highly recommended all around.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

I would recommend Imperial to anyone - especially Karl!My car suffered damages from an incident that included dents and ripped paint from the passenger rear door. This is the first time it has happened and while I was going through insurance (panic mode), I saw imperial and spoke with Karl. Karl gave me details from A-Z on how the process will work. He helped me understand it and increased my knowledge on how it will get done. He provided me updates with the car and it was fixed within 2 weeks period. He is fantastic, cool, and will help you understand what the process entails with straight forward facts. Any customer like myself appreciates that!Service: Body & Trim

Karl and his team at Imperial are fabulous. After I got rear ended, he and his team took care of my car and made it a super easy process. From making the appointment, to dropping it off, to getting my rental sorted, to picking up my car and even dropping my rental off at their facility, it couldn t have been any easier. They did an amazing job on my car, there s no evidence of it ever having been in an accident. As a bonus they returned my car freshly washed and cleaned on the inside. I had numerous scratches on both the front and back bumpers of my 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe XL along with a scrape and small crease on the side of the left front fender.When I took the car to Imperial Auto Body for an estimate, Karl found a door ding that I had not seen before, so we added that to the work list. Imperial's estimate was in line with others I received and I felt confident in them based on Karl's description of their approach to the repairs. They also offered very convenient drop off and pick up options.When Imperial returned the car it looked like it had just come off the showroom floor. Despite provisos the new paint might not be a perfect match for the three-year-old original finish, they are completely indistinguishable.I absolutely will take our cars back to Imperial whenever they need body work. I've had body work done several times over the years. This is by far the best experience I've had. Many thanks to Karl in their Bethesda field office. I immediately went from being a customer to being close family, just like the family that created the business. Karl and the folks of Imperial Auto Body took care of the repairs on my 2021 Jaguar F-Pace in superb fashion. They kept me informed of repairs every step of the way. I appreciate not having to ask for status updates. Whether it's good training or choosing good people, Imperial Auto Body has found the solution to keeping customers happy. Karl is a GREAT communicator. My parts might have been delayed but there were no surprises!! Much easier to wait knowing the situation. (nationwide delays!) Karl welcomed me in right away for initial evaluation....his attention to detail and continuous updates and communication made it all so much easier to be without car!! Imperial, and especially Karl, were incredible!!! I was on a tight deadline and admittedly have a difficult schedule. Karl called me to keep me updated and work with me on timeline. When I got my car back, it truly looked like new inside and out! Even with the insanely tight deadline and holiday craziness, they paid impeccable attention and detailed the inside of my car on top of the body work. If you find yourself unfortunately needing work (and if I ever do again) I undoubtedly support using Imperial. Also super easy to get to living in DC. Best car shop I ve ever worked with.

Karl was amazingly straightforward and totally professional. Imperial did the body work on time, the work was absolutely perfect, and their were no surprises they gave me a quote and that is what I paid (very unusual for a body repair shop. A few weeks ago, someone crashed into the back of my wife's car at a stop light causing a significant amount of damage. To make things worse, the at-fault driver did not have auto insurance. Once we contacted Imperial, they worked closely with our insurance company to make the transaction as seamless and stress free as possible. They were extremely communicative and transparent from the moment we scheduled our first appointment, until the day we picked our car up. Their customer service, pricing and work were all impeccable. Carl was professional, kind, and communicative. He did a great job navigating delays due to Covid and making sure I knew what to do. He also has a great relationship with the rental car company down the street and did a great job coordinating with them. He also was great in helping me figure out where the store location was. The storefront is a satellite of the Rockville shop - it is clean and well kept and easy to go into and out of, especially for downtown Bethesda! My car looks as good as new after a collision. Would definitely recommend if you need body work done. They also went above and beyond and did some light detailing on my car - there was some sticky residue on the windshield from a prior service elsewhere and they removed it! They also did some cleaning on the inside of the car - vacuumed and dusted. It was a great touch! My car felt brand new.

Imperial Auto was recommended by Jaguar of Bethesda. I am happy to say that I was confident they would do an excellent job based on the comprehensive details they provided upon examination of my Range Rover Evoque. I rate them 5 out of 5 stars in workmanship, and customer service given my car was repaired par excellence and because Karl kept me apprised of all developments re turn around, adjuster and repair.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I had pretty bad damage to my front left fender. I worked with Karl to get it fixed and can t thank him and Imperial enough for being honest and transparent throughout the entire process.
