Excellent service at a reasonable price! The couple of times we have used Royal Auto Repair for maintenance, the staff has been highly professional, honest, quick to get us in for an appointment, and provided in-and-out service. Really, everything you can ask for from an independent mechanic. We plan to continue to bring our new car here for regular maintenance and for any needed repairs.

I used this business based on a recommendation from a coworker. The staff was so professional and helpful! They were quick to answer and very kind on the phone. The drop off/pickup processes were easy. They were able to diagnose and replace my battery a day earlier than anticipated, and called me each step of the way in a prompt manner. They were able to squeeze me in for a state inspection after a another place cancelled on me 3 times. Reasonably priced, $80 for the inspection. And I was done in a hour. Nice staff !

My husband and I have brought our cars to Royal for about 15 years and have never had a bad experience. The customer service has always been exceptional. Most importantly, Calvin and staff have earned my trust by never trying to upsell me on services, clearly explaining what issues were, and communicating what and when was needed. One time, they even suggested that we take our vehicle to the dealership because their opinion was it was recall-worthy repair and they wanted to make sure we didn t have to deal with a hassle. (They were right). Highly recommend.Services: Brakes, Oil change

I live 5 minutes from Royal Auto but I would drive significantly further to have them do my work. Highly professional, quick, and communicative. The management is good and honest, and the prices are fair.I had them perform a repair and a few weeks later, through no fault their own, the repair failed (19 year old truck). I took the truck back in and they had it fixed swiftly and didn't charge me for the second repair. I would trust any car I owned with Royal Auto.I previously had taken a different car here to have some parts changed out to pass inspection, and the experience was smooth and easy all the way around. I was able to call ahead and get a quote for labor broken down by part, as well as total cost of labor if I supplied the parts myself. While they had the car, I got a call to confirm a bit of work that wasn't clearly communicated by me, so that I wasn't going to be surprised by a higher charge at the end. The work was done well and professionally, and the car passed reinspection with zero issues.Overall, fantastic auto shop and great staff. Worth more than 5 stars.

Great place to take your vehicle. Derrick, the front desk guy is awesome and they do really great work. And the price was VERY surprisingly cheap. I had fender flares put on my truck and got an oil change, had them fix my a/c and they replaced my emblems. Highly recommend this place. Very honest too which is a relief.

My engine started knocking, I called around to get my car serviced. Calvin, was very helpful. Diagnosed the problem and was able to get my car fixed with in 48 hours. Also I was quoted one price to fix this the repair, I agreed to it. When I went to pick my car up, it turned out to be less then originally quoted which was great. They were efficient and always communicated. Will definitely have my business.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Oil change

I started going to Royal 15 years ago when they were on Willow spring Road. It was the closest to my job. I have received excellent service ever since. I have had the mechanical maintenance/repair as well as body work done. I highly recommend their services.Many of my coworkers also use their services, and I think that's a testament to the quality of service that you get at Royal.

First visit to this shop, had a Maryland State Inspection done here. Brian got me earlier then my appointment called for. Service was fast and reasonably priced, Calvin performed the inspection thoroughly and professionally. Thanks guys for the timely and great service.

My wife and I both took our cars here for the MDOT inspection and had a great experience. The staff is responsive and helpful and made the process easy. We ll definitely be coming back for any other car repairs in the future!

I am extremely happy with the repairs that were completed on my late model Dodge truck. My check engine light came on 2 days before christmas and I dropped it off the next day. The staff did a complete check on my truck and gave me an estimate to do a few repairs that I needed. The work was done extremely fast, and every time I called, the gentleman that takes care of the office knew exactly what was going on with my vehicle. he never rushed me and answered all of my questions. The repair bill was less than i was expecting, and I even got a gift card for a local resturant as a holiday gift. Mymother has been using this place for years, and even though its not close to where i live, it was worth the drive. I would 100% recommend this auto service center to anyone! I will never take my car to anyone else BESIDES Calvin, Derrick or any other mechanic besides Royal Auto!!! I ve been dealing with Royal Auto since the early 2000 s and I have not been disappointed yet! Recently I took my car in because of my air conditioning unit malfunctioning and these guys worked diligently to solve the issue. It wasn t just the simple need of Freon it was quite difficult but they solved the issue! I then took my car back for an alignment and for them to install, balance and rotate 4 new tires and now I feel like I have a brand new car. Best service I ve ever received for my car. I highly recommend Royal Auto for any mechanical issues.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Air conditioning

I have been using Royal Auto for over 10 years now for my and my wife's cars. One of my first dealings I thought my starter went up so I took in my ford ranger truck. After assessing Calvin called me to let me know that it was only a cable that leads to the battery and the repair was around $30 at that time. They could have easily sold me a starter but they did the right thing. They are honest, reliable and great at fixing cars. Hope they choose stay in our Dundalk Community for many years to come!

First time here and I'm impressed. I went off Google reviews which I always check and this place was highly rated so I gave them a shot. I only went for a state inspection but these guys treated me like gold. I'm very satisfied and plan on coming back. Not to mention the customer service that wins you over every time

Finally a mechanics shop that 1) knows how to work on cars. 2) will not rip you off3) customer friendly and attentive to your needs. They dont search out other things to try and get you to upcharge. Calvin and Derek are the best.

I live in Baltimore City and I have Car shield warranty....Most of my local Auto Mechanics wouldn't take my warranty but Royal did and they did a spectacular job ...I honestly think I will make them my primary Mechanic now ....I recommend that all people who need their car serviced come here .....
