Been using Paul for a few years and am always satisfied. He s honest, fair and efficient. This past week my daughter and I took in her car for service. When we picked up the car I particularly noticed that Paul focused on explaining the service performed to my daughter and not just me. Often service shops focus their attention on the male which is obviously chauvinistic but that was definitely not the case here. In reality my daughter may know more about cars than I but regardless she left there feeling respected and confident her car was fixed appropriately. Thanks Paul and your crew.

One of the best experiences ever with a mechanic! High level of communication and professionalism! Took my car to a mechanic before Paul and they gave the wrong diagnosis. Paul and his team found the issue ordered the part and did the work in less time then the other shop took to give me the wrong diagnosis. I can't say enough good things about Paul's!!!

A great experience.I decided 2-3 days ago to get my oil changed. Since Paul's is convenient I decided to check them out online. I was prompted to give 2 dates I'd like the service done. In about 10 minutes I got a confirmation for my 1st date choice. I was in and out in ... well certainly under an hour. It was all pleasant enough.Thanks!Service: Oil change

One of the only two shops in Baltimore that would even take in my 1987 Toyota 4Runner, and the other shop ignored me. Paul is easy to reach, and knows his stuff. He knew exactly what I wanted done, repair wise, but highlighted some failure points and was very quick with a quote for each repair. I'll be using Paul's Automotive from here on out for any vehicle repairs from now on.

I was having emissions problems, brought it into Paul's shop, we sat down and discussed what the problems were and he gave me his honest opinion on what the problems were and what I could be possibly be spending, also suggesting other alternatives, I informed him that I would bring the car in to start the process, so far at looking at his work I am very pleased and will be taking my car back for other repairs. Great Service and Professional

I had a problem with ice frozen up in my exhaust and my truck wouldn't start. They took it in and got it straightened out and it runs great. Thank you very much for your service! I would definitely recommend them to others.

Update: Took my car back to Paul and his team, when the car wouldn't start. They were able to diagnose and fix the problem quickly and inexpensively. I had the car back that afternoon.Their prices are reasonable and I think they are fair & honest. They don't tell you the car needs a host of extra (often unnecessary) services each time you take it in; something I've found to happen too often at other auto shops. Paul and his team have done a great job fixing my car. They have also been very straight forward about whether certain repairs are worth doing or not. Paul's Automotive did a great job recently on my 2017 Chevy Tahoe. They sent a report identifying what items passed inspection and which items needed attention. The report included photos that really helped identify and understand the issues that needed to be addressed plus those issues that could be deferred. Paul's service is dependable and trustworthy. I just went to Paul's for the first time for a shake in the steering wheel. The diagnosis was quick and having photos of the bad brake parts was great. came from New York to visit family in Maryland... had an issue with my Mercedes my mechanic told me not to drive back to New York to find a mechanic and let him prepare the issue sounds Paul's automotive you want to talk about Service Great staff and job was well done recommend if you have issues with your automobile go to Paul's automotive.. you won't regret it because I didn't,

Paul's Automotive is excellent. They find and define problems better than another shop in the area that I have been to. And they back up their assessments with pictures and written details. Repairs are done quickly and thoroughly. I had a problem with my 2012 Volvo XC70. I had taken it several times to my usual mechanic and the problem was still undiagnosed. Seeing that Paul's Automotive came up when I searched for "Volvo Mechanics", I brought the car to them and they found the problem, which was not an easy problem to find since it was a part that was failing intermittently. They have a text system to update customers once you leave the car and a full report sent with photos and a video of the problem. I was even shown the part and given an explanation on the way it works. Great experience!

We had a great experience at Paul's Automotive. Paul spent time with us and was patient and helpful as he explained the issues with our car in terms that a layperson could understand. I also appreciate that he stays in touch by phone, text, and email, and that he provides lots of information about his diagnostic process. I would definitely bring my car back to Paul again.

Just completed a major repair with Paul s and they were great. Price seemed very fair and the communication was excellent: they checked with me when considering something that would add a little cost but turned out to be absolutely necessary. I especially like that they document the work as they go with images and videos and share them regularly. Great service and great mechanics!

My family has been coming to Paul to have our cars serviced for decades now. We have always been pleased with the quality craftsmanship and prompt and efficient service. No more was this evident than this past week, when Paul and his crew, at a moment s notice, was willing and able to get my car travel worthy for a rather long and tough trip to Dallas. The heavily-packed car easily made the journey despite the inclement weather. Thank you, Paul and crew!

This place is a scam. Left the shop with the vehicle after they said it was good and 1hr later the vehicle breaks down. Call to inform them the vehicle just brokedown after leaving their shop and they state oh they might have missed something. They misdiagnosed the vehicle after we repeatedly told them that was not the cause, and unfortunately I entrusted them and their knowledge that the vehicle was good for the road. They stated to have the vehicle brought back to them (still had to pay tow out of pocket). They charged my warranty then told us it was not covered by my warranty and charged us. They got paid by both us and the warranty company. After several days of trying to get in contact with them, I reach out to the warranty to find out that the car shop has been paid by both of us and yet the vehicle has not been repaired. I'm a nursing student, working full time, and I entrusted these people, and got taken advantage of. Please please please be careful and choose another location.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I just began bringing my business to Paul's Automotive and their service has been nothing but stellar. I have a 1997 Toyota 4Runner which naturally needs care every now and then, but Paul's Automotive has been incredibly helpful in getting my car serviced and doing necessary repairs. I have gotten the run around with a number of other auto shops in the area which have been unable to remedy various issues, but Paul's has been awesome. Very highly recommended.

Took my Lexus IS250 to Pauls for general service and maintenance. It was a really great experience. They were transparent with the work to be done and fair especially with their reporting system. Paul saw me right away and turned around the work the next day. I will definitely be going back there the next time I need work done. Paul is a very friendly guy and by far the most professional mechanic I have been to. The whole process was very transparent and they do a really good job of keeping you updated on their progress and providing detailed explanations of the work they're doing. By far one of the best experiences I've had taking my car to a garage for repairs. They were able to get me in the next morning after I popped a hole in my tire and were able to order the part/replace the tire within 24 hours. They even took time to double check fluid levels and the integrity of lines after I saw fluid leaking from the car. The owner took lots of time, not only to explain the repairs needed but also to educate me about my car. Very thankful to find a good reliable garage that seems to care about it's customers!!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance
