This will be my go to place for car repairs. I ve worked in retail, I know solid customer service. These people actually WANT you to be able to drive your car. The employees there are solid, esp store manager Jerome. He s earnest and treats you with respect, as a customer and as a human being. Long as you re patient and communicative, I can t see why you d get anything less than good quotes and good service. I personally have been here twice, and I will be back for a third.

After two visits to this place I no longer trust them. They are the classic place you hear about that tries to sell you repairs your car doesn't need. Here are my experiences:In my first experience about a year ago I went in to get my back break pads replaced. I get a call from the main man and he tells me with such confidence, "Sir you need new front break pads also, and you need to replace all of your rotors!" He tells me it's a desperate situation. I ask how much and he tells me the cost will be an addition $1000 to what I was initially planning to pay. Nice try. Over a year later my front brake pads are still running perfectly fine. I've taken my car to other mechanics since then and non of them have mentioned my front break pads or rotors.For my second experience I had them replace two of my tires. They were brand new and expensive tires yet one of them became defective after a couple months. However, during this experience they were actually honest in telling me what parts my car needed for a separate repair, so I'll give them that. If you take your car here be very cautious of them trying to sell you repairs you don't need!Also, over time in this city I've learned that other places in Baltimore offer the same services for cheeper.

Monro Auto had the specific tire size I needed for my vehicle, which was hard to find. The tire specialist on-site was very knowledgeable and was able to provide me suggestions as how I could change my tire profile and avoid not being able to find my tire size in the future. They were also able to change the headlights on my car, which required a lot of labor, all in the same visit.

The store manager is the best he breaks everything down in layman's terms so you understand. The whole staff is pleasant and knowledgeable about the work being performed on your vehicle.

I needed a replacement for my burned out driver side low beam headlight and made an appointment for 9:00 AM on a Saturday morning. When I arrived, the man staffing the desk informed me that the tech wouldn't be in until 10:00. I left and made another appointment for 5:00. This time, they said their supplier closed at 4:00 and they didn't have the bulb in stock.Customer service tip: don't offer appointments if you have neither the staffing nor the inventory to honor them. Very disrespectful and a complete waste of my time.

I had an 8:30 am appointment for an oil change. I arrived at 8:20 am and was told that the technician does not come in until 9:00 am. I did not schedule this appointment online, I called the store so I'm unsure why they'd schedule me for 8:30 if the technician is not in. I waited until 9:30 am and the technician never showed.

Terrible service. I had an appointment between 7:30a - 11a. Center didn't open till after 830a; received full service oil change, was refused the complimentary tire rotation, was told it was going to be $30 extra.

The first thing that always wins me over is the fact they actually answered the phone with courtesy and I didn't have to deal with an IVR robot.Visited the shop on 11-17-77 for a flat tire and the gentleman at the counter was friendly, also ended up joking with the mechanic "Dro" who was very knowledgeable and had me in and out in a timely manner.I highly recommend this shop for service.

I have been going to Monro since 2017, but I guess they no longer call to let you know your service is done? The last 3 times we ve used Monro, we haven t received a call, have left our car overnight, and have had to actively call them midday the next day just to learn it s already finished. When I picked up my car this time, there were no other cars in the lot besides an employee s car - seems unusual that they wouldn t call to let me know it had been complete for some time, apparently. I also didn t receive the multi-point vehicle inspection checklist they always used to include with the service/payment paperwork, so unsure whether that inspection was done or not and what the results of that inspection might have been. Unfortunately after being customers there for so many years, we ll be looking elsewhere the next time we need service.

Got a flat while visiting Baltimore. Called them up, they had a tire for means could put it on. Got there and Jerome took great care of me- and my Subaru- got the tire I wanted from a sister store and put it on in under an hour. Super friendly and honest- I would definitely recommend them if you need a tire in Baltimore. If I lived there I would absolutely trust them with other services too. Thanks again!

Would give 0 stars if I could. My sister took her car to get her brakes changed and they wouldn t honor the lifetime warranty that she paid for. She showed proof of the lifetime warranty and decided they decided they would honor it but then said they will only honor the warranty for the rear brakes even though she paid for the lifetime warranty for front and rear. They never did the rear brakes and when she went to pick up her car the check engine light was on and she couldn t turn the steering wheel. They went under the hood and the belt was off and the alternator was cracked. None of this was an issue before she dropped her car off with MONRO!! The nasty person at the desk said if u want to file a complaint call the number over there. She called the number and said she wanted to file a complaint and the lady hung up on her. ZERO STARS!!

Awesome service for a fair price - had to get a spare tire fixed for my road trip. The gentlemen had me in and out within 30 minutes after having no appointment. Going to continue using them as my mechanics going forward

Wow! I walked into the shop on Saturday afternoon with a hope that I could have my battery replaced with a new one... sometime soon. Marquel Rodriquez was able to replace the battery, with no charge for installation, in a matter of a few minutes. He squeezed me in, and I could not be happier! I will be returning for some more work on my Ford as soon as I can. 5 Stars from me... at least!

This place used to be awesome - under the old guy - I have taken two cars there since the change in management and both times they have said my rotors were warped and my brake pads are at 0. That's easy to check yourself and confirm that this place has turned into a bonafide scam. Brake pads have thousands of miles left and the rotors show no sign of warping. Now the oil change price is double too. avoid this place. Do not go there! They're confirmed liars.

I used them for convenience only, but every time, they didn't do the job correctly. Specially "alignment " to a point that this last time I drove out of there and the steering wheel had to be turned halfway to the right to go straight.Turned around and they did it again, kinda "fixed it "I will look for a different shop to do balance, rotation and alignment.I wouldn't trust them with anything.

They left my oil cap off didn t reset my oil percentage and did put a sticker for a return to get oil done again and for 113$ all this should have been done

The shop forgot to offer tire rotation as an option when buying 4 new tires. Upon picking up my vehicle, the seat height and depth was completely readjusted. I am tall and could barely fit back into the car. An adjustment this drastic should not be necessary for a tire change. Either way it should have been returned to how it was before. I received a call the next day offering rotation service and now will have to make an additional trip. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

1 star because they not only didnt do the job, but tried to trick me into buying a tire.I called to confirm that they could patch my tire, then brought it in. 30 minutes later the guy at the desk told me the nail in the tire was too close to the outside to repair and said I'd need a new tire. I opted not to and had them pull my car around. I asked the other guy how close the nail was that it couldn't be repaired. He said he'd been told something completely different. Another shop later patched it and said the nail was in the center of the tread. These guys are sketchy.

Supremely disappointed in the new ownership. I had been a loyal customer for years, and had always appreciated the honesty and fair prices of the staff. I dropped off my car today (unknowing that the crew had changed) and was called hours later that my car was already done. They were charging almost $900 for coolant flush (I had recently put in new coolant myself) and a new battery, without even calling me to okay what needed to be done first! My car is over a decade old and barely even worth $900. I feel deceived, and I'm so sad to lose a local, honest auto shop. The recent positive reviews specifically mentioning the "new ownership" by name are strange, they read so fake. In hindsight, I can see they have been losing a lot of old customers, and now I know why.

Got an oil change, tire rotation. Checked my brakes and did a one over, all good. Didn t try to sell me unnecessary stuff. Polite staff. I ll be back.Update! I went back today to get a battery and brakes. Dropped my car off before they opened. They communicated well and it was done before I was off work. Thanks to the manager that was very helpful on the phone.
