I am located in California but had some of my employees in Baltimore for a gig. We rented a box truck and managed to tear the roof partially off. I found Herman Born on the Internet and they got us in and out promptly even though we are not from the area. And we didn't have to deal with any lease company BS from the damage. Hopefully we won't damage anymore trucks but I appreciate how they helped us and would highly recommend them for anyone in the area!!

Herman Born & Sons does fantastic work. We've sent them numerous trucks over the years to be repaired, repainted and have new decals put on. Their communication is top notch, they're very thorough on their invoices and have spectacular service. It s been a few months since one of our units was in for repair. So far, so good. These guys pretty much made magic happen. I would definitely recommend and just wanted to say thanks again!

I HAD TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT HERMAN BORN THE MAIN PROBLEM IS I WHAT I KNOW NOW IS THEY MOSTLY WORK ON BOX TYPE TRUCKS. I HAD A PETERBILT TRACTOR IN A PRETTY BAD ACCIDENT THEY ARE CLOSE SAY THEY COULD TAKE CARE OF IT BUT IT TOOK OVER 3 MONTHS I MEAN IT NEEDED BASICALLY A HOOD BUMPER AIR CLEANER ETC. THEY COULD'T GET AN ESTIMATE TO THE INSURANCE COMPANY FOR OVER A MONTH THEY WERE OUT OF THIER LEAGUE THEY HAVE A GOOD REPUTATION ON FIXING SHEET METAL ON BOX TRUCKS BUT WHEN IT CAME TO A WRECKED RIG THEY DON'T HAVE MUCH EXPERIENCE. AND IT SHOWED IF I WHERE AN OWNER OPERATOR THEY WOULD OF PUT ME OUT OF BUSINESS PLUS AFTER WE GOT IT BACK WE HAD TO TAKE IT BACK A HALF OF DOZEN OF TIME TO GET HOOD STRAIGHTEN OUT WOULD NOT OPEN THEN WOULD NOT CLOSE YOU NAME OUR MECHANIC HERE FINALLY WORKED ON THE TRUCK A WHOLE DAY TO GET IT STRAIGHTENED OUT.
