BE CAREFUL coming into this shop. Had my car towed in for a clutch replacement 1 year ago, then the clutch failed this year. I took it in again, they let it sit there for 1 MONTH before working on it. They couldn't finish the job so I had it towed to another shop. Turns out the slave cylinder failed and leaked oil all over the NEW CLUTCH, so I had to have the entire job re-done and spend a lot more money. They didn't replace something the 1st time and the whole job had to be redone. Wasted $3,000. I want some of my money back.

This is definitely my #1 place to go in Baltimore for auto repair and anything You need related to Your car needs! The guys are super professional and they do a great job! I recommend this business 100%!! My car needed a yearly service and they did a great job and I didn t have to take it to the Dealership this time. They fixed and changed everything my car needed without anything extra that wasn t necessary like in the dealerships.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance

Before taking my car to the inspection, I took it to the mechanic to repair everything that needed to be done to make sure it passed the inspection. Everything was fine with the car, no issues. However, after receiving back my vehicle from the inspection, I noticed that my car was flashing with the engine symbol, so I checked the engine and realized that they unplugged some plugs on my car since they didn t find any issues with the vehicle and so they created one. Be cautious and aware with your car!!!!

Amir runs a small shop, but he is very fair, goes the extra mile and listens to the customer! First, He squeezed both my car and my wife s car in on a Saturday on a holiday weekend! Hers passed with flying colors, mine is old and awful and failed. He walked me through exactly what the issues were and each one made perfect sense. Although the bumper likely needs to be replaced, he came up with a much cheaper workaround. He offered a fair price and got to work right away. When it was clear the work wouldn t be done by the end of the day (windshield contractor out of town). He called me to make sure I got my car back so I would have it for work. When there was difficulty removing the tint from my windows (bc it is ~15 years old), He and his team worked at it for hours at no additional charge before referring me to a tint specialist who removed the rest perfectly and at a big discount. ***Amir cares deeply about the service he provides, and I would trust him fully with either of our vehicles in the future.***

They take care of you on the spot. From inspection to getting your car fixed they are professionally trained and authorized. Ali the Inspector is very humble and looks after the car like his own. Definitely recommend this shop to anyone living close

I had a great experience with Fells Point Auto. I was able to get an appointment on Friday afternoon for Saturday morning and they had my MD inspection done in under two hours. I will never use this business again. I recently had my car window broken and my airbag stolen. I took it to this repair shop because initially I thought the cost would be less than taking my car to the dealership. There was delay after delay in getting my car back - It took almost 2 weeks to get my car back so the cost of renting a car and using Ubers actually cost me more than if I had taken it to the dealer who would have been able to make the repair in 1 day. Plus, the amount they quoted was quite a bit off from what they ended up charging. When I got my car back, there was a greasy film over most surfaces and the car reeked of oil and dirt. The replaced window is not flush to the door when rolled down. It sticks up about 1/2 inch. Also, I truly believe they sold me a used airbag because it is scuffed up in various areas. (I wonder if this was someone else's stolen airbag). As I drove out of the parking lot, it was immediately evident that something was wrong as the 12 o'clock position of the steering wheel was now in the 2 o'clock position. They asked me to bring it back but I didn't trust them at this point. I took it to the dealer to get fixed and they said it looked like the car hit something and it was not like that when I brought it in. Lesson learned.

Brought car here for Maryland State Inspection. Owner showed me one needed repair to pass inspection and one optional/recommended repair. Cost for both repairs and for state inspection was reasonable so I had all work done by Fells Point Auto Repair. Hopefully will not need auto work any time soon but absolutely would trust bringing my car back to this shop.

Amir and Ali are both kind individuals who stand by their word to get the job done professionally. I just moved to Maryland and needed to get my vehicle inspected. However, I knew that I was going to fail the inspection since my drivers side tail light cover was shattered in pieces. Amir reminded me that it s okay if it fails because they are equipped to fix the taillight since it is a total auto-body shop after all. They then proceeded to accommodate my inquiry by offering me budget friendly options to solve the problem. I decided to order the part myself and pay for them to do the labor. Before I ordered the part online, Amir verified that it was the accurate part for my model.Once it arrived the next day, Ali took over and resolved the issue quickly while also explaining why the process took longer than expected (there were screws only accessible through the bumper in which he had to take off the bumper to replace the taillight assembly).Fells Point Auto Repair really values the customer experience and as a result, I will be returning to them for all of my future car needs!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Good people. Fast service. Honest prices.Had a vehicle inspection. They were able to take me immediatly and finish the inspection within 2 hours of me calling. Other places wanted to schedule weeks in advance. I initially failed but I brought it back the next day and they completed the work in a couple hours. This is a good local small auto shop worth supporting.Don't go to the big name auto shops or dealerships. They will overcharge you for shotty work. This place does good work and the people are respectful.

I usually don t do reviews at all, but Amir and his staff are amazing! I moved from California four years ago and didn t register my car because it s a hassle with all the documents and inspections . I eventually got around to it and Fells Point Auto Repair made it seamless and easy! Maryland requires a state inspection in order to register. Called Fells Point Auto on July 3rd around 10, he got me in immediately and note there were also a lot of cars in the lot. He showed me what needed to be repaired and fixed it in a matter of hours, done by the end of the day. He also kindly walked me through the parts that needed to be repaired for my car to pass the inspection. I ve never had such great service! Usually I feel like mechanics are annoyed with female existence and questions they may ask but he was so friendly even right before a holiday! I ll be referring him to all the friends I know!

Called to get my car in for an inspection and they took my car almost right away. They were very kind and took great care of my car. These guys are great, fixed what I needed real quick, it was so easy. They were so great that my fiance is actually bringing their car tomorrow! I went to Fells Point Auto to get a car safety inspection for the MVA. The worker who helped me was extremely kind and friendly. He was super communicative, got my car inspected and fixed super quickly. The price for the inspection and fixed headlights was extremely reasonable. Couldn't be happier!

When my car needs any repairs or inspections, I usually come here. The other week I was quoted 2.5-3K for a transmission issue. When I got a second opinion, I was quoted significantly less ($720). I obviously went with the second place but it's alarming that the first quote was so much greater than what it actually took to fix. For my second opinion, I brought along a man with me so that's something to keep in mind, ladies. I doubt I'll come back after this discrepancy.

Very accommodating. I went to Fells Point for a state inspection, after being turned away mutuel please times by other shops because my car is to low to the ground. Fells Point was able to accommodate me and my vehicle the same day, and kept me informed throughout the whole process. Highly recommend Fells Point.

I called to get some information on an alarm system. And what I need to do. The guy that called me back. Was rude and hung the phone up on me. I won t be going there. I understand it was close to closing, but you don t just hang up on a potential customer. Thanks but NO THANKS.
