I went out in a hurry to help my 102 year old neighbor and left so quickly that I didn't think to grab my keys and my door locked as soon as it shut. I called Easter's and the person I spoke with was very kind and understanding. He said he thought he could have someone over in about an hour which was great. The locksmith that came was fantastic! Quick, efficient and cordial. I asked him for his last name because I wanted to let everyone know. Easter's and Kevin Ryan do a great job. It's no wonder they have been the best locksmiths in this area for so long. Very impressive!

I have reached out to Easter's Lock & Key for both my business and personal service need requests and each time they have always delivered the best customer service. Everyone from the person who responds to the email work order request, to the Tech who comes out- everyone is very accommodating and understanding and works to get us a fast resolution in no time. A broken lock left me locked out of my house. A technician arrived within 90 minutes of my call, provided me with replacement options and installed the new lock. He also had 2 additional keys cut for me. I thought the cost was reasonable. Overall a wonderful experience!

Just moved into a new home and had the pleasant surprise of finding out that every lock on every door in the entire house (3 storm doors and 3 standard doors) used a different key. Additionally, some locks did not have have a hand turn mechanism to engage the deadbolt from inside, and the door had to be locked from the inside with a key - very frustrating.I reached out to Samantha at Easter's who was great, immediatelyand accurately understood my need (1 key that could open all storm doors, and 1 key that could open all standard doors), the number of rekeys required, and gave me a estimated quote for the work to be performed. I agreed to move forward and Samantha reached out to the Dispatch team so that they could schedule the time for a tech to come out and perform the work that best suited my availability. Dispatch called me about 30 minutes later and let me know that there was a window of availability next day. Like many other service organizations, the window was rather large (12-4) however they informed me that they would be calling about 20 minutes before they planned to arrive - great!At around 12:15pm next day, Kevin (the tech, who was fantastic) called me and let me know that he would be arriving around 12:45pm. Kevin arrived right on time, and already knew the exact work that needed to be performed as it was successfully passed on from Samantha to dispatch to Kevin. Once I provided Kevin with all of the previous keys, he got to work with the rekeying which took about an hour (super fast for 11 separate locks that needed to be rekeyed). Kevin was extremely personable and respectful of space and wore a mask which was great in these COVID-19 times. Once everything was rekeyed, it only took Kevin about another 10-15 minutes to reinstall every lock. Kevin also used drills that were almost completely silent which was amazing because he was able to reinstall the locks while I was in the middle of a conference call without disturbing me at all. Once everything was wrapped up, I got the exact costs for the work (which was even less than the original estimate!) and paid via credit card.All in all the entire experience was fantastic and this is the best service I have ever received from a local locksmith in Maryland. I highly recommend Easter's Lock & Security Solutions for any home lock and security work you plan to have done!

The service was very slow. Took over 3 weeks just to get a lock replaced. I was unable to use my main door for 3 weeks. I was not happy.

Very pleased with their honesty about my lock situation, they told me the lock from home Depot the key would not be feasible to be charged, so I bought their lock and had my key made for it. Great prices they have. Thank you very much.

I just wanted to give a shoutout to Scott from Easter Lock and Key. I was having difficulty getting my key in one of my door locks. He told me to use WD40 and it worked like a charm. He could have scheduled someone to come out and make a nice amount of money but instead he truly just wanted to help me. I appreciate the honesty and service with a smile. Thanks Scott.

Everyone I spoke with at Easter's, from my initial contact with Mike in sales to the other people answering the phone and the technician who did the work at my house, was incredibly professional and friendly. They sourced a difficult-to-find piece with no problem, and the whole experience was a pleasure. I am happy to have found this company and will absolutely call them again!

When our Charles Street business was broken into, Easter's came right out and rekeyed all of our 1st floor doors, even upgrading us without an objection. They were prompt, professional, caring and kind. Highly recommend!

You know you can trust a business when they ve been around since you were a kid! A recent move meant new locks/keys so Easter s was called. A very pleasant and friendly woman set up my service call, gave an estimate for what I needed. The day of the appointment came and my key technician was well within the time range. He quickly set to work, explaining small details along the way. After a short wait, he was back with my new key - yay! Just one key for both locks. Kevin Ryan, the locksmith, was very quick and professional. You can trust Easter s for all your needs.Highly recommend.

If I could give 0 stars I would. First off if you claim to be open 24/7 you should have locksmiths that work 24/7, not just a 24/7 call center. Secondly when someone is having an emergency where they are locked out because of a broken lock, and their animals are trapped inside, you should call them back at the designated time that you set up. The call center at 0100am told us that a technician would contact us at 0800am (when the locksmiths begin working again) to set up an appointment. No call, no follow up. Would not recommend.

These guys are great. I had a mix of 18 simple "retail level" keys cut while I waited. You know, 6 of these (for a clubhouse), 3 of these, 2 of those, etc. The tech immediately went off and cut them while I waited and quickly checked me out. He was friendly and very professional. Each key operated smoothly in their respective locks. Have been going to these guy for years and they never disappoint.Service: Building key copying

I called on Monday for an appointment & was given an appointment for Tuesday,. Tech Jeff called to advise he was on his way. He was very professional and polite. Jeff did an excellent job & cleaned up. I am vey pleased with the work done. Jeff was very knowledgeable & took pride in his work. Excellent job done by Jeff.

RESPONSE TO OWNER'S POST, FOLLOWS MY INITIAL REVIEWThis is the first negative review I have ever written. I'm usually one to give praise and credit for good service. I have used Easter's many times for keys and have always been really pleased with their employees and service. I've recommended Easter's to many of my friends. Never again! I called this morning at 8 a.m. when they opened, explained that my front door was stuck and I could not open it and requested their service. Cindy who answered explained they had a full schedule but they would fit me in and that someone would be there sometime during the day between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. She said the technician would call before coming so I gave her two phone numbers I could be reach at. I told her I would be home until 4 p.m. and would be waiting for their call. I rearranged my entire schedule for the day so that I could be home. It was 3:30 p.m. and I had not received a phone call so I call Easter's to make sure I was still on the schedule. Cindy told me no that I was not; that I had not called back to verify that I wanted Easter's to come out or not. What I was hearing was unbelievable!! Cindy made no mention I needed to call back to verify. My verification was speaking with her on the phone, giving her my phone numbers, and telling her I was fine waiting until 4 p.m. if necessary. She then told me someone could come out but I would have to be charged for emergency services. This was so not right. She connected me to the owner/manager and he so much as called me a liar, saying he had two stories and he had to believe Cindy and what she was saying. Cindy is a liar! Someone messed up at Easter's and I will never trust that business or use their services again.RESPONSE TO OWNER'S POST:Dear Mr. Easter,Thank you. I appreciate your responding to my comments. My interaction with Easter s on Friday was disappointing and frustrating. In the past, I have always had positive experiences with your business. When I realized I needed a locksmith, I knew exactly who I would call for the job and I had the utmost confidence that Easter s would come through.I was in shock and disbelief when toward the end of the day, I was told I wasn t on the schedule when it was made very clear to me the morning of my call that someone would be coming out that day and would call me when they were on the way. What was most upsetting was that in trying to resolve the situation, I felt I was being dismissed and not being heard at all; and to add insult to injury, I was told I would have to pay emergency service rates if someone came out that day.Another locksmith closer to my home was highly recommended and they came to my house and took care of the matter. They provided excellent, prompt service at a fair price. I do appreciate my being heard and your acknowledging the situation. Thank you.

I am so happy with the quick and courteous service I received from Easter's tech Chris. He repaired my broken deadbolt on my primary entrance door and even took care of another issue on my front door.The price of repair was very fair. I also like that this is a FAMILY owned local business.

"Fast, Dependable, Same Day Service"...yeah, good luck with that. They claim to perform emergency services but apparently get too booked up to actually perform these services. I got locked out of my house and when I called to ask for their emergency lock out service, I was told "sorry, good luck!"

My house sitter got locked out while I was away and I used Easters to let them in the house. They were professional and were able to take care of it the same day for a reasonable price. Because it was an emergency I had to use the first name I found and worried it'd be a huge emergency surcharge but it was very fair.A 2nd use to re-key all my locks. Guy came out on the earlier end of the time block. Said he'd need to order parts but was able to find parts same day and do the install a few hours after the consult.I highly recommend them.Services: Building lockouts, Lock rekeying

I have been in real estate for over forty years, and when I need a key made, or a lock re-keyed, I have complete confidence in Easter's. I have never had to return a key duplicate, and the prices and turn-around times are reasonable, and the staff are courteous, knowledgeable and professional.

Truly awesome service. Polite service people. I needed 2 Deadbolt locks installed ASAP. They honestly did not have any openings on the day I inquired. The receptionist listened to my situation and said she would try to get a technician to me the same day between 12 PM and 3 PM per my developments rules.She got a lock smith technician to my home. He drilled out the new holes in the door, installed the deadbolt locks and made sure everything worked as expected. He cleaned up leaving my home spotless. He was kind funny and most of all a skilled professional. I was so impressed I will have him replace an expensive locking system for me in a few months time.Easter Lock & Security Solutions are my new go to people for anything lock related. Easter Lock & Security Solutions earned my highest possible recommendation. Easter Lock & Security Solutions staff are definitely autism friendly.

I've known about Easter's for years. Yet, I first chose convenience over competence when I asked my local hardware store to duplicate my front door key. Turns out they didn't have the right blank, but one that "would work." It didn't. Easter's, on the other hand, had the proper blank, and quickly made the key with no muss or fuss. They even showed me why the hardware store key would never work. And, their price was not at all out of line. In the past, they've been able to get obscure key blanks for me that worked perfectly. Save yourself a hassle. Go to Easter's.
