I was very happy with the repair results to my car which had been hit on the side passenger door ... they did a great job. Not only was the repair excellent it came back looking like a new car both on the inside and the outside. The people at Chesapeake Auto are all friendly and helpful.

Absolutely THE BEST auto body shop I have ever done business with, and after my recent experience, Chesapeake Auto Body is the only auto body shop I will do business with.My vehicle had been "repaired" by a large (unnamed) company, and the poor workmanship was causing problems with the blind spot detection system. After several visits to the original shop and a dealer, my insurance company sent me to Chesapeake Auto Body because their well-deserved reputation is second to none. Matt and his team are wonderful to work with, and their work is impeccable. They assessed the vehicle, determined the former repair had not been done correctly, and made my car look like new (complete with a functioning blind spot detection system).Because of the nature of the work we had to have done, insurance paperwork could have been a nightmare. But Matt coordinated closely with my insurance company and made the pile of paperwork look easy. The bottom line is that this family-owned business does incredibly good work, they have wonderful customer service, and they know how to navigate the challenges of insurance claim paperwork. Chesapeake Auto Body sets the standard for quality and professionalism in the auto body repair business, and I will never bring any of my vehicles anywhere else!

Team here at Chesapeake Auto Body was fantastic. Had some pretty significant body damage to our family vehicle and they made it seem like it never happened. Came back incredibly clean and ready to drive!! Can't recommend enough.

I had an old claim that I finally decided to handle , as my schedule is straight nuts as a traveling wedding photographer. Roy was immediately communicative , approachable and informative. The nicest guy. I knew he d be telling me the truth the whole time and my repair was thorough. Additionally, I made it apparent I needed my car for work asapAnd they turned around my car a day ahead of time. As a younger professional I m not as well versed in this stuff, and we all know how stressful car stuff is. It s great to feel taken care of! I will certainly trust this group again!! Thank you all!

From start to finish, I had the best experience at Chesapeake Auto Body. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They called a week before to remind me of my appt. I was at the bank today and locked my keys inside my vehicle. While I was calling a locksmith ready to wait it out, a gentleman in a blue Chesapeake auto body Inc polo approached my car with an inflatable device he used to crack open my door and unlock the vehicle for me with a rod. He did this out of the kindness of his heart and took no payment for his time and effort- needless to say when I have a true automotive issue I will be contacting these great people! High integrity and character

Truly excellent service and the team made everything so easy for me. Replaced and painted spoiler and coordinated with my insurance to get it done while only having my car for 4 hours or less. Was in for an insurance claim to repair damages to my car Good looking office, happy people and fast. Logistic chain issue or not, they beat the duration estimate with a flawless result. Stopped in on a small detail and was addressed in the spot. Certainly in my phone for the future .

I don't get repair work done often, nor should anyone ever want to. It's always pricy and scary in the fact that you'll never know if your vehicle will be the same again.That being said, this has been my first experience with Chesapeake Auto Body.I dropped my vehicle off earlier this month after being rear-ended, and from the get-go, they were very up front and clear with what I should be expecting in my timeline for these repairs.They gave me updates often and did not delay in the overall timeline.I got my car back today, and it looks like I've never been hit before - the rear end of my vehicle looks absolutely brand new.Should I ever need additional repairs on my vehicle, I would probably go out of my way to come back here knowing that my vehicle will come out in the best shape it can be. Many thanks!

After a semi-minor collision, I took our car to Chesapeake Auto Body for an initial estimate. Ended up going with them for the work because they were professional, thorough, honest, and informative. The work took the expected two weeks and they (especially Ben and Patty) kept us in the loop by providing necessary updates and worked out everything with our insurance company directly. Hopefully will not have to return to them but would if needed. Highly recommended.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

When my "new to me" car was damaged by a ginormous falling tree limb, my insurance company provided me with a list of acceptable auto body shops. After reading a handful of reviews, I was persuaded to take my car into Chesapeake Auto Body. I was able to easily book my car drop off online late at night, drop the vehicle off the next day, and pick the car up when it was ready. They impressed me during the repair process by sending progress updates via text message. They delivered my car to me on time, beautifully repaired, and cleaner than I left it when I dropped it off. Their staff was courteous and friendly and made every interaction pleasant. I HIGHLY recommend this shop.

If you value courteous customer service and a fair estimate, do NOT go here. First I was shocked that I had to pay $10 for an estimate, as well as provide all of my contact information. Second, the receptionist was unfriendly and impersonal. The rep who performed the estimate was equally impersonal and a bit defensive or argumentative when I asked questions. Last, neither of them introduced themselves by name (I had to ask them for their names), made me feel welcome, nor thanked me for coming.I am surprised by how many positive reviews have been posted. I normally compose Google reviews only when I have something very positive to report, and I hope that no other potential customer for this business will ever have a similar experience.

They fixed my bumper and it looks better than new! You would never know it had ever been damaged. I am extremely happy and appreciative. They also found something that needed a quick repair in my trunk and they just fixed as a little bonus. They were on time and their price was extremely fair. I am very happy and would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Amazing service, I have had work done on 2 vehicles here and one of those was extensive body work and paint. I thought the paint could never be matched. But this company proved me wrong. Had a fantastic experience. Staff is professional and friendly. On the first visit I received an estimate within 10 minutes. CAB and another shop estimated 2 weeks to complete repairs. CAB's cost estimate was also lower than the other shop. Brought my car in on a Monday morning and they were ready for me - out in 5 minutes. The repair was done by Friday afternoon, a week ahead of schedule. When I came to pick it up, the car was ready to drive away within 5 minutes. Not only was I satisfied with the repair, but my car had been thoroughly cleaned, inside and out. The whole experience was a breath of fresh air and I will definitely be recommending their service.

I had the opportunity to speak with Patty and work with Ben. Patty was very friendly and informative on the phone. Ben, super informative and friendly, is also highly professional and responsive. It is important for me to note, everyone was respectful of the social distancing guidance during the COVID 19 pandemic. Everyone has masks and respects the 6 foot distance. I was able to call from the parking lot upon arrival and Ben came out to greet me and take care of my car. I can't say enough positive about my interaction and the exemplary customer service I received.

I have used Chesapeake multiple times and am always happy with the results. They do excellent work and they are easy to work with. They are very good about communicating through the process and providing updates. My car looks brand new.

Chesapeake has been very reliable for us. Courteous, transparent and communicative.I have now had the "opportunity" to use Chesapeake's services again, and they really knocked it out of the park. Great customer service and they take all the hassle out of having your car worked on.

I didn't like that I needed a body shop but I liked the entire experience with Chesapeake Auto Body. Good customer service and good work, finished when they said they'd be done. Definitely recommend.

We had our car repaired there and the service was excellent. The staff was very friendly. Our car was ready before they estinated. Worked well with our insurance company, so we didn't have to play phone tag. The car looked like it did before the accident. We have reffered our friends and family there as well.

I've been procrastinating on giving a review here, so finally here it is. Took my 2006 BMW 330CI in to have some left bumper frontal damage fixed. First of all I must say that I maintain the vehicle very well. Got it back and got it home and I immediately had engine problems, like it was running on 2 cylinders instead of 4. Called the shop and asked if they messed around with the motor and they said absolutely not. I took it to my mechanic and they couldn't figure it out. Eventually, the car fixed itself. Then, within a week of getting the car back I find out that my trunk release wouldn't work. What a coincidence! What really pissed me off was that all of my spare change (about $15) was stolen. I asked about it and they said "Oh, it must have been vacuumed up by accident." The guy "threw" me a few dollars to compensate. How did the vacuum cleaner suck up all of the change that I had in the BMW secret coin storage hiding place? Will never go back to this place.

I have dealt with Severn Auto Body and Jeff's Auto Body on previous occasions. While all three did great work matching the paint, I had to take my car back to Severn to have them remove all of the overspray from the wheel wells and I had to take my car back to Jeff's THREE TIMES for shoddy body work, misaligned body panels and additional damage they did to my car while trying to repair it.Chesapeake Auto Body did it right the first time.
