Early morning, mid afternoon, or after 9:00 PM is the time to use self-service vehicle emission kiosk. The machine at this location has worked every time I ve gone and done the self-service vehicle emission. I do recommend using the service center garage because it is quicker than the self-service vehicle emissions kiosk. The staff in the vehicle emissions center garage are absolutely amazing and will have you in and out within two minutes or less. Best emissions location out of the five within a twenty mile radius of Odenton.

Not functional. Go somewhere else.When they do get it back online, I hope they paint directional lines more clearly. It was quiet on Sunday, but it could be a problem when the full service lanes are open.

It's my very first using the service and I am impressed with how simple and straight forward the whole process is. I'd say the hardest part is finding and getting to the connector in your vehicle. After that just read and follow the prompts on the computer screen then pay $10.00 (for now) using a credit card.I like it.

Relatively quick and easy. The touch screen needs to be re-calibrated because it is off a bit but I was able to adjust for it to get through the different menu items. Once the devices was plugged in it took under 30 seconds to sync and download the required information. All-in-all it took less than 5 minutes from start to finish. If you don't have your mailed form, you can bring your vehicle info up via tag and VIN numbers. If you are unsure about the self-service kiosk process, there is a youtube video that you can watch while waiting in line.

Self-service is convenient to use except for logistics. The entrance is too small and if there is a line of customers then it's difficult for customers not using self service to enter.

The process isn't bad. It only takes about 5 minutes to complete the test. The only issue is the debit/credit card reader. You always have to swipe your card at least twice to be accepted. It is the same issue I had with it 2 years ago.

Super easy and quick to complete. As long as you have your bar code to scan from the document the MVA sends, it's all smooth.

Showed up at the self service kiosk at 12:30am Sunday morning and pulled up to the station. Entered my info and it walked me through the steps. About 10 min. Total this is the second time doing it this way and will never wait in line again.

went at 11 pm at night. was easy to use, got it done and didnt have to deal with any humans. the screen walks you through the process with instructions. didnt get a receipt because the paper was out, but it says the MVA was notified of success.

Kiosk is questionable. The screen is clearly malfunctioning. It certainly took my money but the printer was broken. It was to email me. It never did. I am still receiving notices as though my VEIP is not done. Tax money hard at work.

The new OBD readers are much better than the wireless attempt. The credit card reader takes a couple tries, and eventually you realize that you have to wait until both screens say "Remove Card" and not just the pinpad screen as directed. Open 24/7 so it was easy to avoid a crowd by going late.

Went on a sunday morning and we were ina nd out. No wait. Perfect. So glad kiosk option is available. Only reason not 5 stars is printer was out of paper so i did not get a printed copy of test result.

It s very easy to use, and the really nice thing is that there is no line. It s open 24 hours a day seven days a week. I highly recommend using it.

Quick and easy. Highly recommend finding your plug in location on your car before you get there. That is key to getting this done quickly. Also bring the sheet with the bar code as that will bring your car right up.

Wasn't sure how to rate. My inspection is due on a 2012 vehicle that is located out of state I get it back to the area for the inspection and the self-service kiosk says I need to bring it in. To boot I can't take it in because they're closed. I received notices telling me I could go to kiosk but nothing was sent saying they would be closed for 2-weeks. So this was a wasted trip and my car still needs to be inspected which will be another 2000 miles round trip drive from Florida.I wasn't the only one in line that couldn't get service, don't know why but the person in front of me wasn't able to use it either.

My son has to go back again in a couple of weeks some kind of stuff that needs run the vehicle it's a 2018 I don't understand why for it's convenient open 24/7

Terrible! 24 hour self kiosk for emissions test died while in line for no reason at all!!! Maps forced me to give one star, would give zero if I could.

Screen was jammed, showing a 2016 Toyota s information and wouldn t respond/update. What a joke.

Had trouble finding the port. Then the port was loose and fell off when I started the car. It took about 10 minutes to complete the test.

Kiosk did not work. It says "Please Wait" for 5 minutes and then nothing.

It worked. Unlike the one in Beltsville. Either is a 30 minute drive so it's a PITA when they're broke.

It was a super easy process. It took less than 5 minutes.
