Always able to find the products I need when I shop here. Prices are reasonable & the checkout area is always moving quickly. Just a great variety of items/products readily available which makes the shopping experience efficient & quick! The only drawback is the parking. I've noticed that seniors are always waiting for a spot to open up closer to the entrance or waiting on handicapped parking!

If I could leave zero stars I would. I bought new tires at their tire center and scheduled an appointment 2 weeks out. I show up for my appointment, and I was informed then my tires hadn't even shipped. No phone call, email, or any sort of message to reschedule the appointment. I was asked to come back the next day after they expedited the order. They then put on the new tires, and my tire pressure light came on 5 minutes after I left. They are now saying they had nothing to do with it and they didn't cause any damage despite the fact that the light wasn't on when I arrived and only came on after I left with the new tires. They refused to look at the tires again and now I have to pay out of pocket to get the tires inspected and fixed. Avoid this place at all cost.

Ordered a pick up yesterday, got the text tonight to go pick it up. Got there and waited a half hour and still no order. Went it to ask someone what was going on and was told they were short staffed and stopped doing pick up orders. When I showed the text she said she didn't know why I got it and shouldn't have. Solution, at 6am they will push my order to the top tomorrow and I can get it tomorrow night when I'm off work. I understand being short staffed tonight but what about yesterday or this morning. Why is it taking two full days for my order?

I've always had exceptional customer service here. The deals are a life saver and the brands are high quality, including their store brand. Membership is worth it just for the gas savings and pump percs alone.

The tire center only has one employee working. When a car is on a lift he cannot leave. Resulting in customers waiting in the lobby for up to one hour. I asked how long he was going to be and was told 1 1/2 hours. I wanted to refill 3 propane tanks and went to Lowe's. Though it cost more it wasn't worth it to wait for over an hour.

You can buy glasses here so cheap without a bjs membership! Right now they have everything 60 percent off for glasses! I bring my prescription here and get my frames, plus anti glare, plus carbonfiber, and hd lenes on top of it. I paid 150 for all that! I saved so much money and they are so nice. They never ever messed up my glasses. You have to wait two to three weeks. Its so worth it! Better than any where i been to! Buy your glasses here!

Just wanted to acknowledge one of the managers at the Abington location. After purchasing gas at the pump ( BJs has the lowest price in town) my trusty pickup truck stalled out as soon as I took off. My first thought was I got $75 worth of bad gas. I notified the attendant and she was very sympathetic and recommended I report it to management. I met with Vickie who was very courteous and concerned. She took down my information and filed a report for record. Turns out, my vehicle s fuel pump blew a fuse which caused the stall out and nonstart, totally unrelated to the fuel I just purchased. The concern and professionalism of Vickie and the fuel attendant on duty that day (didn t get her name) made an unfortunate and unpleasant situation tolerable. Those two ladies in particular, represented BJs well and deserve to be acknowledged for their great work and attitude!

I've been a BJs member for 5+ years and today was the first time I really questioned that membership. For whatever reason, this location lets salespeople for random outside products (phone services, energy services, etc.) roam around the store and bother shoppers. Today, it was the Inspire Clean Energy sales rep that pushed a contract in my face and told me to sign it so that I could "get more information". It's shameful that a store that shoppers have to PAY to shop at need to put up with this. I don't have to pay a dime to walk into Target and shop there, but I've never seen this kind of thing at Target. Would recommend going elsewhere.

This store continues to disappoint, why do I even try. Went to customer service again to renew since I received an email and flyer in the mail offering to renew my membership for $20. I was told by Tim the PIC( not a manager) that I needed a code. I told Tim and showed him the email that I wasn't given a code and his reply was you need a code. I left the store without renewing.

Edit: y'all are losing a membership. We had tires installed on our van last year. One tire constantly lost air. We brought it back waited for 45 minutes and we're told they couldn't work on the vehicle because they couldn't get the lug nut off. Is this a mechanic shop or not? Let's not forget that you were the last ones to work on the vehicle. The mechanic literally told me that I needed to get the lug nut off myself. I replaced them all. So now here I am with my 9:00 a.m. appointment on a Sunday and it's 9:10 and they still have not unlocked the door. Our membership renews in 2 weeks. It won't be happening.WHAT on Earth is going on at this place? I've never had issues like I have recently. Two months ago we placed a curbside pickup order. When we arrived two hours after ordering, the pickup was not ready. We waited in the parking lot for 20 minutes for the order.Yesterday at 4PM we placed another pickup order. It was to be ready at 7, so we went to Lowes at 6:30 to wait for the notification. My wife checked the app and the order doesn't even show as being placed, however she did have email confirmation. My wife went in to find out what was happening and was told that the order hadn't yet been picked becasue they were understaffed. If we wanted a refund, we could just not pick up the order and it would be canceled in two days, then we'd get our money back. Or we could pick what we wanted and go to the front desk for some magic to get our items and whatever money back we were owed for the not purchased items. Relenting, we went to get a cart. None to be found. We went back and asked the manager (who we had been speaking with all along) where there were carts. She told us we had to get them from the back of the parking lot as she didn't have a lot boy today. I expressed confusion and displeasure and she told me she'd get a cart for me if I wanted. I'm not that guy. I'm just confused at how a store I have used for years has suddenly become a terribly run machine. If only there were a Costco closer to us.

Gave them another chance. They failed! If you are mobility challenged and need a motorized shopping cart, you are out of luck at this store! They may have 1 cart that actually works and you're not likely to get hold of it unless you have the luck of the Irish! What a poorly managed store!

Bjs is my favorite place to shop for bulk and regular grocery items. Foods are always fresh and abundant. They consistently have good brands but new items to choose from. I'm never disappointed when I leave here. Plus, I can gas up at a discount price when I leave, always a plus.

We drove 1.5 hours each way to this location for a great price on a tv. We called first to be sure it was in stock. It was. Upon arrival, it wasn t on the floor. Finally my husband got someone to help and they brought it from the back. The older woman (long, grey hair ) working the customer service desk tonight was SO clearly annoyed that it was 20 minutes before closing and she had to ring him out. I mean it s one thing to want to go home, but it seems that you d realize that one purchase may have very well kept you employed. If you hate your job, then DON T DO IT. it was rude and unacceptable. if you re open until 10, that means we could have walked in 5 minutes before closing and then had to wait around for someone to bring it from the back.

I went there today for a few things. Everything was great until I got to the register. To the guy who wears makeup and jewelry, when someone says thank you it would be polite to speak back. Never made eye contact and acted like he hated his job. Politeness goes a long way.

The shopping experience was fine. We found everything we needed but the customer service was dreadful. We had an overflowing cart and 3 children, with nobody to run a register. I had to scan a $700 cart full myself, had to stop over 10 times to get assistance from a check out clerk. To finish checking out it took over 30 min. It made the whole shopping experience dismal.

Location is in desperate need of a facelift. In may past three visits over the last 2 months the same freezer door has been broken and taped with cardboard, the meat case has been leaking water, and the store has been reorganized each time. I've stopped purchasing milk due to quality issues, either expired or goes bad very quickly.Customer service has always been an issue and you often see floor managers talking with each other and not helping cashiers or customers with issues.Order pick-up is a joke. You check in on the app and wait 30 minutes in your car, only to have to go in and wait another 15 to get someone inside the store to actually get your order so you can take it out to your car.On the plus side the auto center is wonderful to deal with when getting propane.

Terrible customer service. Requested assistance at the self checkout and watched two employees walk past as if they didn t see the light blinking. Walked up to member services where I had to to wait because one of those two employees was now helping another customer at self-checkout. I am finally rung up and then waiting for a membership card when the member services employee takes a phone call instead of helping me get a card. Three employees entered and exited the area, but I was never acknowledged. By now a line is building up with other people who need help as well. It s 12 in the afternoon, so I m not sure why it took so much to complete a quick transaction. If I wasn t in a time crunch I would ve asked for the manager. The service provided today was not that of the BJs I remember growing up. I m thoroughly disappointed as a new member myself. At this point it s unlikely that I ll renew.

I worked in a fast food restaurant for 3 years so I understand customer service. I do realize it is not the fault of the crew members for the machine none stop in need of assistance. To start checking out a card i had just set up and wasn t expired yet which the machine even said was saying i have an issue with it. Then multiple times there were issues it had me stop get assistance. The crew did great in the none stop help. As i was about to finish the register said assistance needed after he walked away twice. I was still not to mad but i was nice. I get to the door and the man thoroughly checked, being good at his job. Something didn t scan which i did scan but there was a clear mistake so i walked all the way back to pay for it with no problem because it was an accident. I go back to long line. By the time i get near the front he just took the mans receipt in front of me and just checked in quickly and then i am next and he took his time checking mine and going over to some notebook. Yes he apologized but as a woman i felt more targeted seeing the man go through so quickly without a real check and unfairly treated.

This place is horrible. Never have the things you want. Online app never works. Then you have to deal with the lady at the service counter and she (Ellen) wants nothing to do with you. She even gave me an attitude. Wish they would build a Costco near by.

Poor customer service, ordered a bag of lime for curbside pickup. App said they had qty 13 . Order was accepted and given an estimated pu time then received email that it's out of stock. Went in the next day and there they were all 13 bags they just didn't want to lift the bag for curbside pickup. When I complained to manager she said they have trouble finding help. So sorry to bother you

Wife and I shop here at least once a month, if not more. They offer competitive membership fees, a large selection of goods equal to other wholesale places, and a variety of brands. Lower than normal gas prices for members is conveniently located just off the major roads. They have coupons on top of their already good prices, something my last membership wholesaler didn t have. Worth it to consider them if your looking for a wholesale shopper or want to try one other than your current. The staff have not disappointed us yet, very polite and professional.

Can't remember the last positive shopping experience at this place. It's been years. If you prefer club shopping, pick another one. I have. Good bye.Update: Clearly a new GM at this unit; and the difference is astounding. Congratulations BJs for waking up and putting a qualified person in charge. (Scott)

The cashiers and people that work in the front that are employees and that are just standing around need to look busy and help the customers that are going in the lines help out faster and to make sure the lines don't get long. I had my nephew and my sister with me and they should have pulled me and all the Carts I had and to go to customer service instead of holding up one service cashier selfless line smh

Store has gone downhill since new manager. Items are hard to find, store is dirty, member services takes forever, employees don't know what's on their shelves, self checkout units get things wrong. Bjs in white marsh much better.

i really wanted to write a great review for them but just can't. Overtime i go it seems nothing is really a deal. You can NEVER and I repeat NEVER find anyone to help you . i had to wait in a customer service line last time for like 15 minutes only to be told to go to another line and then wait. All that was after I tried for 20 minutes to find a floor person to help me. Total of almost an hour.... JUST TO FIND OUT HOW MUCH AN ITEM ON DISPLAY WAS. I have never ever ever seen anyone behind floor counters they have scattered through the floor. Seems the only accessible people are the ones selling you glasses and stuff that attack you when you go into the front door. would like to add that my last trip i DID finally get someone after almost an hour and going through two customer service waits.... and that person did help me. Reason for 2 stars is because IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME,. This was not an isolated incident. OH... food court always seems sad, depressed and just sorry. No way i would even consider buying anything from there.

AFTER WAITING A FEWMORE MINUTES THE DELI GENTLEMAN CAME OUT CARRYING A CARDBOARD SIGN STATING HE WAS GOING ON BREAK UNTIL 803 pm. I REALIZE EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE A BREAK HOWEVER I STOOD THERE FOR A WHILE BEFORE HE CAME OUT WITH HIS SIGN. NORMALY I DO NOT WRITE NEGATIVE REVIEWS HOWEVER WHEN I WAS THERE A FEW WEEKS AGO I WAS TOLD HE HAD TO RUN TO THE BATHROOM AND I WAITED, WHEN HE RETURNED HE PLACED A CLOSE SIGN UP. AFTER I BECAME UPSET HE WAITED ON ME AND THE PERSON BEHIND MEEXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

I didn't get her name but the woman (who is also a teacher) running the customer service desk was the most pleasant, kind employee I have ever encountered at BJs. She was very friendly and enjoyable to talk to and she definitely deserves a raise. Most of the employees here say 1-2 words to you (IF THAT) and they look at you like you knocked on their door at home and interrupted their dinner.
