I've been banking at the York branch for many years, they are the absolute best! They take the time to get to know you. The staff is amazing. Always willing to help and very knowledgeable.Would give more than 5 stars if I could!

The York (Maine) branch is so awesome that I adventure down to York, passing several other branches (from Sanford), just to use them for all our family's personal and business needs! Their Customer Service is always perfect and they seem to always know the answers to all my questions! Top Notch! They are worth taking the extra time out of your day.

The York AFCU branch has been going above and beyond for me for years now. I have my personal and business accounts through them and have never received anything but the highest quality customer service. The staff is wonderful and are always willing to help! I highly recommend this bank.

Do not sign up to bank with this credit union. Every time an automatic payment tries to take the payment and you don t have enough cash they just charge you $30 but don t cover the payment you re just $30 negative in the account more than you were before you didn t have money to cover the bill. How was that helpful? When I complained, they offered me alone through the credit union. They re only about making money for themselves!! Beware

I've been banking with AFCU since before they changed their name. The service is second to none. I have savings and checking accounts, High Yield youth accounts. I have refinanced with them and also gone to them for personal loans. Not only can I text them during business hours with my questions and they get right back to me, but Kaelin is my go to for all my banking needs. I can't recommend the staff here enough!! I'd also like to point out that most of their negative reviews involve a different location outside of the State of Maine.

This bank rocks! Kaelin and Nathan are my favorite tellers. They are super friendly knowledgeable and always on point.. I would definately recommend Atlantic Federal Credit Union to all my friends and family. To sum them up in one word (fantastic).

Used to be such a good credit union but they seem to be not interested in getting to know what thier members need. I recently had a incendent where I needed help with my account and was told they cannot help me at all.This is not the same credit union that helped out and supported the members.

AFCU in York is my home away from home. I feel like family every time I walk through the door. The service is fantastic and their professionalism is top tier. 10/10 would recommend!

Both of my parents had accounts here and when I had to close the accounts, AFCU was wonderful to work with. They were professional, kind and made everything very easy for me. I have dealt with many stressful estate-type issues in the last few years but I had no stress here. They helped make a difficult situation a bit softer.

The staff there are very attentive never had a issue with banking at this branch the bank is always clean and cared for I enjoy doing my banking at Atlantic fcu especially the york maine branch

I ve owned a small business in the area for almost half a decade and AFCU has routinely gone above and beyond their duty as a bank to ensure the customer s quality.More-so, the staff working at the York branch has helped me grow, streamline, and gain confidence moving forward in the world of small business!I highly highly recommend this branch to anyone looking to open a business and or personal bank account!

I usually go to the Sanford location, but I recently went to the York branch and I was was not disappointed! First I have to say, the tellers were so kind and helpful. She was patient with me and able to answer all of my questions. Even the layout of the branch was classy!

Pros: People who work in the building have been fantastic.Cons: I'm trying to pay on a loan I took out and with their terrible service hours you think they would make it easier to pay bills online. They don't. I can write a Kennebunk Savings check and they can accept it in person, and through the home loan portal, however, they can't accept the same payment method on a car loan? Any phone number they give out leads to a long line of automated machines that don't result in any questions being answered. The one person I have talked to in my 2 hours of trying to speak to someone was great, however she lead me to another machine that lead me to a "stay on the line for the next available rep" that lead me to elevator music for fifteen minutes, a ring for three minutes, and then the busy tone.

My son was approved for an auto loan so we went out and found a vehicle. We gave the dealer our down-payment and proceeded to secure the loan. The bank called the dealer and told him that the down-payment goes to the credit union and not the dealer. I've never heard of anything like that. Would they have wanted our trade in vehicle if that's what we used for a down-payment? Then they wanted copies of our bank statements to show we withdrew the money for the down-payment. Needless to say, I wasn't going to do that as it's none of their business where the money came from. After almost 3 weeks of back and forth with them we gave up and went through the dealers credit union. Something shady seems to be going on at Atlantic Federal Credit Union. Now we have to cancel our accounts and go to a bank that actually conducts business properly. DO not use this bank!!!

Will not deposit or cash a third party check into a long standing members checking account.Drove 1 hour there after calling. They said they would be able to do it.

pretty helpful but when I got my bank information stolen all they could do is give me form to fill out online that didn't work because I'm not 18, and the hours are terrible. I work all week so I don't have time to go in during the week and there closed on the weekend

Terrible, so many problems, slow customer support, and as a essential worker during a pandemic they make it EXTREMELY hard to access my money or get to the bank, as they are closed all weekend, which is ridiculous because being open 9-3 or 9-4 is when majority of people are at work. Terrible bank and can t wait to close my account and take my business elsewhere.

Ever since this place turned into Atlantic federal credit union from York county, it has been terrible. Debit cards don t work, wait weeks for new ones. Also if you travel good luck using your money.
