I bought a used vehicle a few weeks ago. A few days prior, I scheduled a test drive, via online chat, with Elizabeth. She took my name, cell, trade-in info, etc. and told me to ask for her on test drive day. I did so, but was told Elizabeth is with the online team, and would work with Bob instead. Bob pulled up my file and it was not my cell number. He looked up my trade-in, and it was not my trade-in info. So, the time spent with Elizabeth was all for nothing, so I started from scratch with Bob, who was courteous and professional throughout the process. I took it for a test drive and noticed the rear rotors had 3 deep ring gouges, outer edges grooved out, with less than 50% contact patch on rotors. I requested the rear rotors and pads be replaced upon purchase. I was told it will be looked at during their inspection, since I was not able to bring the vehicle home that day, since it had not gone through their inspection yet. I found it very handy that they offered vehicle delivery, so they had it ready for delivery 5 days later. When the vehicle was delivered to me, it was freshly washed with a full tank of gas. When it was delivered, I noticed the rear rotors and brake pads were not replaced. Also, during the test drive, under the cover where the spare tire is, there was a tow strap and d-ring hitch there. When the vehicle was delivered, those items were missing. I emailed them regarding the issues above and I was contacted by Thomas Welch who not only made everything right, but went above and beyond! Not only did he obtain and pay the full cost of the rear brake rotors and pads, but he also included a set of front rotors and front brake pads (so I'd have a matching set of brakes front and back) as well as a d-ring hitch, hitch pin and clip, and a recovery rope, as well as delivery! To me, this was outstanding customer service and thank you again Thomas, Bob, and everyone at Wiscasset Ford for making this vehicle purchase a memorable one for me!

Absolutely terrible communication and service. I recieved a quote for a simple job for a relative only for her to be charged more than the quote. I called the service manager and he stated that the quite didn't include the cost of the parts (just labor) even though he told me on the phone that the quote was for the entire job. He told me a manager would call me back today but I never recieved a call. This company takes advantage of elderly women when they are alone and it's a terrible shame. Super disappointing!

This was maybe one of the best car buying experiences I've ever had from start to finish. Sales and Finance were all professional, dealerships appointment set up prior to my arrival definitely beneficial. HIGHLY recommend.

I would definitely recommend Wiscasset Ford. I recently purchased a Ford Explorer from them and they made it incredibly easy to do so even from 2 hours away. I worked with Jeff Allen and he was incredibly responsive and easy to reach when I had questions. When I made it down to Wiscasset from the Bangor area the purchasing of my new explorer was quick and easy, everyone was very friendly and easy to talk to. They took my old explorer as a trade and that process was also incredibly seamless. I would definitely consider working with Wiscasset Ford again when I am in the market for a new vehicle again.

I love Wiscasset Ford. I have been searching for a vehicle and Kalie was so patient with me while I took my time. She communicated with me via text and answered all my questions. She heard me and even found me an SUV with things I was interested in. I am so thankful for her help with deciding my vehicle. I love my Ford Edge!! I will forever use Wiscasset as my choice of dealership!!

A few days ago, I made an appointment with a sales associate to test drive and buy a red Bronco that I really wanted. The day has finally come and I was getting excited. The appointment is at 12:30. Then, I got a txt msg from the dealership that vehicle was sold to someone else and wanted to know if I was interested in may be buying a different Bronco.I was so disappointed and upset. These people don t have the decency.. and just don t care about anyone as long as they can make some more quick $$$. What a way to screw their customers.Wiscasset Ford, Never again!!

Jeff was great, very helpful and knowledgeable. He made our purchase/trade in very easy. Had our new vehicle ready to go by the time the paperwork was done.

From start to finish hands down the best car purchase experience I ve ever had. Wilson was awesome and worked around our schedule and everyone took the time to walk us through questions and test driving without rushing a sale. Even though it wasn t in our immediate region I would be willing to travel back to purchase a car from these folks anytime in the future.

The Sales Manager ruined the entire experience. He's a terrible bully who will not move forward with the sales process until he makes you buy some kind of extended warranty. He raised his voice, derided my reasons for not needing the warranty and absolutely would not take no for an answer. Worst experience buying a car in my life. And I used to highly recommend Wiscasset Ford.

This place is horrible! I have never been discriminated against for a disability in my entire life. I consider myself lucky for that. I am dealing with a serious illness, hence the disability. This is a very private journey for me and my health. My family has been loyal to Wiscasset Ford since we moved to Maine in 2001. As you can see or follow from the messages below my inquiry into a Ford Edge has turned into total chaos. Mind you this all started BEFORE Christmas. I have 2 other threads from various hand offs that total about 20 between them all. From the very beginning no one wanted to work with me on a vehicle that I was interested in. I got hand off after hand off. Per my last email sent to Andrew after I got handed off to him I stated as you can see below"As you can see from the various messages below I have been tossed around many times. That is not acceptable. I was interested in a vehicle which at this time I don't even know if it's available anymore. Once I started asking about the CarFax damage report to the vehicle, I believe that was James, everyone was quiet and said that they did not know what the damage was. Well, I may be disabled but it is not for what most think. I know, for a fact, you can see exactly what has happened to the vehicle along with the why and when from the day that vehicle was bought. I am a former goverment contractor to the navy, lived in Maine for 20 years and had many friends that have sold cars. I know the information is all there. So, please don't insult me by calling me stupid! Kristina told me the same thing. We started talking loans, now I believe I was handed back to Thomas and what I was willing to pay and things started to change. That's when Thomas dropped me completely. He would not even return my messages. Kristina got an alert to send me an "automated email" as a follow up. I explained to her what was going on but once I told them I was on SSDI due to a disability and would need a loan no one wanted to work nor talk to me anymore. Discrimination against someone because they are disabled is wrong! I know this because I used to do it. The majority do use it as a free ride, though I don't know how they can live on it, but I now have a legit medical disability. Call it my karma! As far as the vehicle goes I am glad that I held off on it as I was not going to have my credit run without first knowing what the exact damage was to the vehicle. I just do not believe in discrimination due to a disability.Thank youAmber"Never heard back from him. I had asked Kristina who the manager of the 2 Ford locations was and she connected me to Andrew who as stated before also has never returned my message from last week. As said before the customer service there is lackluster at best. I have friends in Maine that have told me the same thing. I am being discriminated against because I have a legit health disability that I am trying to fight. That is wrong! I shouldn't be the one pushing to get information on a car from a dealer. The dealer should be the one doing that to me! No one wants to sell a car! I just find this whole 2 week long pass off of myself to be totally disrespectful and definitely not customer service oriented.I hope someone takes the time and attention to straighten up business, professionalism, and especially customer service at this company. All in all I was dropped byJames PalmaKristina Bunton(various times)Thomas Welch (vaious times)Andrew Whittaker (wrote to me; no response back after Kristina told me he was the General manager)BTW....this message was also sent to Chris Lefebvre, General manager at Wiscasset and Chris Sawyer, General manager at Portsmouth Ford in NH as they are both operated by the same people. No response from either one of them. It's sad to say but look elsewhere. If you're a disabled veteran; forget it!Bring on the automated email response that everyone leaving negative feedback receives! And yes, my name is in the system as is my ex-husbands, my parents from NY, and my ex-fiance. We all have done our business with this place.

I called left a voice mail, sent an email, and tried calling again. 3 days of trying to get info on a 2024 super duty on the lot with zero effort to contact me back. This place doesn't want to sell vehicles apparently. I'll take my busines else where. DARLINGS FORD will call you back.

It was easy to set up an appointment online which matters to me because of the odd hours I work. Also, the details, cost and time of the service performed was explained beforehand. On the rare instance when the work longer than expected they provided a clean and reliable loaner. All in all, vehicle service is a positive experience.

I usually dread having to do business with a car dealership, but that all changed from the first moment I contacted Wiscasset Ford. I am have been looking for the right Mustang on the Ford Blue Advantage (CPO) website for years, and then I found the car of my dreams at a dream price! From first contact until David my salesman took over, it was the easiest and most seamless car buying experience I ve ever had! He even met me half-way in Portsmouth, NH, to test drive the car. Then they drove the car down from Maine to the North Shore of Massachusetts where I live to deliver the car!So happy I went with Wiscasset Ford! My wife and I are also considering getting her a CPO car from our best friends in the north!

Excellent experience! Ordered a 2023 Ford Maverick 9/22, and took just over a year to get delivered. These trucks have a long wait time to build which I understood. First off Wiz Ford did not require a down payment. Many Maine Ford dealers required $500-$1000 security deposit to order a vehicle. It was a long wait, during which I made several changes to the order through the sales manager (Andrew). He quickly responded to my requests and sent confirmation of the changes to me. When the truck finally arrived last week, the salesman (Jeff) called. I went in, test drove the vehicle and went over the numbers, then secured financing with my CU and picked up 2 days later. They made sure I had price protection on the vehicle, where I got the cost at the time of the order vs. price on the sticker, saving me $500. There are also no documentation fees at Wizford (vs. almost any other dealer), saving an additional $500 or so. The finance manager (John) was very easy to deal with and did try to sell me anything I didn't want. I honestly think it was the best car buying experience I've ever had. If you are going to buy a Ford in Maine, I highly recommend Wiscasset Ford.

I bought a truck from them two years ago and I will never go back. I was treated terribly by the salesman I worked with and since then I have told anyone looking for a vehicle to avoid this place like the plague. I was treated like a stupid child due to my age and gender. If you re a girl don t come here.

The greatest thing about the Maverick [which I love] was however Jeff Allen--the buying experience with him was absolutely the very best---he is a huge asset to your organization

So I purchased a used f150 about 2 months ago with 44,000 miles. When looking at the 3 options for extended coverage the finance person in the meeting told me that the premium coverage covers everything that coverage for a new truck does. Oh wait a minute, an opening in the fabric stitching "nope" not on used vehicles. Although to there credit they did the work themselves at no charge. The finish coming off 2 chrome wheels, " nope" not on used vehicles. 0 for 2 on using my premium coverage.

Wiscasset Ford went above and beyond my expectations. I ordered parts online and needed to return them. It said in the order confirmation email that they were open 7:30-6. I called to make sure and they said they were only open until 5:30, which did conflict with my work schedule even though it was only a 30 minute difference. Parts manager Jim Kons offered to refund me without the 20% restocking fee AND send one of his guys to my house that was 30 minutes away to pick up the returnable parts. This saved me so much hassle and I was pleasantly surprised to hear such an offer. Thank you Jim and staff, all very friendly and helpful.

I have purchased two vehicles from Wiscasset Ford and couldn't be happier. The first was in 2014 and Jeff Allen was a pleasure to work with. He kept me informed and went above and beyond letting me know when my Flex arrived and that it would be there when I returned from my trip. I knew I would go back to work with Jeff when it was time for my next vehicle. This year my Flex finally had to be retired, and I needed to look for a more reliable vehicle. I immediately made an appointment to meet with Jeff. Again, he was a pleasure to work with and worked with me to make my dream of owning a Ford Bronco Sport a reality. I also want to acknowledge that the finance person (Chris) was also very nice to work with. I never felt pressured into buying something I didn't want and both understood the need to be budget conscious. I drove away feeling very positive about the entire experience.

We were looking for a specific vehicle and Jeff Allen our salesman was very helpful. He was able to even beat our credit union's loan rate! We love our new truck an F-150 STX, 3.5 Eco-boost crew cab. Thanks Jeff!
