C'est parfait! There were very few images online and we're so glad we stopped by to check it out! We've been on the road for a week and this was hands down our favorite place and such a lovely surprise. We walked into the charming primitive French antique store and met Francois who is the sweetest! There are only two rooms so we were very lucky one was available last minute. If you like the style of the shop you will love these rooms, rustic simple and charming. Francois brought us a basket of food in the morning! The location is perfect, right in the heart of Wiscasset near the bridge. This town is so idyllic, we hope to be back again!

Francoise is all sunshine and rainbows. Her B&B is adorable, clean, and inviting. She welcomed us warmly, ensured our needs were met, and delivered a delicious, light breakfast (with dark, bitter coffee, yum!) in the cutest basket.Since I am a light sleeper, I did hear the trucks and motorcycles on Rt. 1, but went back to sleep easily. My husband kept exclaiming how perfect Marston House was for our one night stay.Highly recommend!

A very pretty room indeed. But with a serious lack of insulation and it s proximity to the main road it was intolerably noisy. I was going to stay three nights but decided to cut my losses and left after the first night. The constant road noise of route 1 was just too much. Even though it lessened a bit after midnight, the semis barreled along regularly and kept me from getting any decent sleep. (Btw earplugs did not help).

Our room was beautiful, and breakfast was wonderful. The Wi-Fi is not strong enough for an iPad or Apple type computer. A windows laptop can pick up the Wi-Fi. Perhaps a wifi extender/booster would help. Most importantly, a handrail to help go up the stairs is needed. We had a little trouble there. Everything else was great, and our hostess was wonderful.

Marston House is France in Maine. Everything is beautiful, down to the woven linen napkins at breakfast. Franoise is a wonderful to talk with and has a fabulous eye for special antiques. We can t wait to return!

The B and B at the Marston house is perfect in every way: so cute, so quaint, and with amazing pillows.

Beautiful room in the peace and quiet. The host left us a great breakfast in the morning and helped us with a late check-in. Would thoroughly recommend

First of all Sharon is truly chic and welcoming. The shop has the best selection of linens, textiles...unusual one of a kind pieces of clothing...Just my favorite shop in the world. I could not live in Maine without it. Great old tables...cupboards. Not too many...but none better anywhere else. I am truly lost when shop closes for the winter. An absolute must to visit when in Midcoast Maine.( Great article in The Financial Times how To Spend It).
