They do what they say they are going to. They aren t the cheapest but they do top shelf work. You get what you pay for in this case. Professionals that do things properly. Grateful I have had them work on my F350. Replaced cracked heads and replaced the flex plate. Two big jobs I just wasn t up for myself. Very happy with end result. Will def use them in the future, hopefully I won t need to.

Locally owned Maine mechanics who do great work!Owners are at the shop daily, so you know your trucks in good hands . They leave early on Friday to go play bingo and drink tea with crumpets...and we make sure we give em a hard time about that . 5 star guys and one of the best diesel repair shops near Portland, Maine! Need heavy duty truck repair? Call New England diesel!

One of the best diesel mechanics you could get. Don helped us out when we really needed it the most with our Cummins I would highly recommend anybody who s looking for an honest decent reasonable mechanic go to them if I could give them a 10 out of 10 I would. I ve been to other ones in Maine and by far they are the most reasonable priced and most trustworthy.

Super happy with NE diesel. There was a miscommunication about what time/day my vehicle would be looked at. When I called to get it straightened out I was sure I would be stuck with my rental car for way longer than expected.... a couple hours later I got a phone call that was truck was done! The issue was not as serious as I thought (Honesty points for them) and the person I spoke with made note that he wanted to rectify the miscommunication about timing.Truck runs great. I will definitely be a returning customer. Thanks!

I can write a lengthy detailed post about how truck broke down on the road and was towed in and then we were told that it needs $4,000 repair (new injectors, which will cost $3000 elsewhere) multiple phone calls, excuses and basically lies about tests that were performed, but then it was miraculously fixed by replacing fuel filter. All I'm going to say stay away from the shop if you value your wallet. Paid over $300 for diagnostic without a single detail provided about exactly what was done and how they arrived at the conclusion that *brand new injectors need to be replaced, again. Changed the story three times, kept telling me that he didn't work in the truck himself, he's not in the shop, busy and the person who did diagnostic is not available. Even after new fuel filter was installed in a truck got restarted he kept telling me that I still need to replace all eight injectors because in his theory they all failed simultaneously. Called back about the refund and he tells me to come by in person knowing well that we are out of state and live several hours away, than hangs up...I'm a mechanic, also talked to several diesel specialists and they all agree none of what we were told makes sense. I'm sure they would have fixed the truck eventually but how many thousands of dollars later till they finally stumble onto a clogged fuel filter

Had a concern about over heating/coolant leak with my GMC Duramax. Friendly, professional, efficient and good council for maintenance in the future ....highly recommend

So, don't live too far from this business and have tried to call weekdays and get a fax type of sound when phone picks up....just wanted to know if they did fluid film for vehicles.
