Terrible customer service. Scheduled weeks out and confirmed. Then cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. Extemely rude over the phone, had the audacity to ask me if I'm a working woman? Not that anything besides my vehicle is any of your business but yes full time and in the vehicle industry so very aware of customer service and how to treat people unlike you. You should be ashamed of yourself

The only place I trust with my vehicles. Always honest and never try to price gouge. I recommend Horsepower for all services as well as checking out vehicles you are getting ready to buy. Found a bad transmission on a used car I was about to purchase. Saved me a lot of money!

It was the first time bringing my car here after being recommended by a friend. The problem with my car was quickly diagnosed, after dealing with a consistent problem for over a year, and repaired for a very reasonable amount. The garage is immaculate, the people that own the business are friendly and very nice to work with. I will definitely bring my car here in the future.Service: Engine repair

What a great place!! I had a worrisome car problem and they got me in the next day. I was from out of town and needed car repaired ASAP. They did it!! From the first phone call to the mechanics to the work done to the reasonable price, it was a terrific experience. They diagnosed the problem and had it done in less than an hour and a half. Thank you so much for all of your help, competence, and friendliness.

Had lost my AC in the heat of summer, Had it fixed in one day and for a GREAT PRICE. Super nice people, very professional. You can tell the way the place is taken care of they are going to take care of your car! Will Definitely be bringing my vehicle here for future repairs!

First let me say. This is hands down the cleanest and well organized garage I have seen. 40 years in business doesn't happen by accident.ASE Techs with L1 Certs. Clean and tight garage. Secondly the owners are two of the nicest folks you could deal with. This was my experience on 8/2/19 and my first time at Horsepower...I recently brought my 2014 Subaru Forester to Horsepower for a bad air conditioner. I called on a Wednesday and by Friday it was in the garage. When I had purchased my vehicle I had also purchased an extended warranty through my financial institution. The garage soon called and stated they were having troubles with the warranty company. After many phone calls between the garage, myself and the warranty company all issues were resolved and my Subaru was repaired. Bonnie and Bob Merrill treated me with respect, kindness and mostly patience. We spoke with them at the end of a day for a spell while the garage was closing down. It was a real pleasure.

Went in for an inspection sticker today (for which I had made an appointment). I come in and the first thing the lady at the front desk says to me is "Do you know what time it is?" Umm, okay, I don't know where you come from or who you think you're taking to, but you do NOT talk to a customer like that.Granted I was 15 minutes late for my appointment , but that doesn't give you the right to be rude to a customer, especially a new one and whom you could have earned further business from. Oh well - lost opportunities, lost revenue! She acted like I had made an appointment for heart surgery.Overall, she definitely rubbed me the wrong way. She should learn how to speak to customers. Yes it is Maine and customer service standards are very low in this State (or completely lacking), so I'm not surprised that the she acted the way she did. This State is full of socially inept people who don't follow social norms and she's a perfect example. If a customer is late to an appointment, if absolutely necessary you can kindly ask them to reschedule. No need to scold the customer!

When moving to a new location you need to find an auto mechanic that you can trust, does great work and at a fair price. Horsepower meets all my criteria of top notch auto care! Highly recommended!

I've been going to Horsepower Autocare for over 20 years. It is an excellent auto repair facility owned by great people with well trained technicians. Highly recommend them for your car service needs.

I went in to get my tires changed. They wouldnt tell me a price over the phone and when I got there they still wouldn't tell me a price. They waited till they took my truck in the shop and took all four tires off to tell me I have to pay $160 when I can go anywhere else and I only have to pay $80

Told me I needed 1000$ in repairs for an inspection sticker, took it to VIP and said it was fine. Big waste of time.
