I've lived in 5 states and have been a BMW driver/enthusiast for over 20 years. I enjoy the old nimble 5 and 6 speed manual transmissions cars as much as I love the comfort and technology of the new cars. I have both old and new in my garage. In all the dealerships, in all the states, I've had my cars serviced. This place is the absolute worst. After being a customer for nearly 5 years, I've gone elsewhere (freeport and gray). In my 5+ years, I would regularly sit and wait 4+ hours at this dealership for an oil change. Some of my older model vehicles they've kept for months at a time finding new necessary repairs every 10-15 days. I recently waited 9 days for new brake pads and rotors only to be told that I would need a new caliper (5 more days.) This place may be excellent for newer vehicles that need basic work (anything high cost with minimal labor... ie, wiper blades, batteries, and fluid changes), but IF YOU NEED AN ACTUAL MECHANIC, go somewhere else. Sadly, this is the only BMW dealership in the entire state of Maine, so it is unlikely they will change any time soon.

Couldn t be happier with our purchase! Zack at Bill Dodge BMW of Westbrook is the best sales rep we have ever had, and Matt in finance made the paperwork a breeze. The whole team at the dealership took care of all the little details to perfection. Highly recommend.

Adam Milligan and the BMW of Westbrook Service Department were excellent. My BMW SUV got a flat tire while I was on vacation in NH, hundreds of miles from home. BMW Roadside Assistance identified BMW of Westbrook as being the nearest dealership and arranged a tow. From my first call with Adam and continuing throughout the process, he was helpful, friendly, reassuring and prompt. Before leaving for the trip, I had new tires put on the car at my home dealership in another state. Without me having to argue, Adam told me what I already knew (that the tire was covered by road hazard, that there was so little wear on the other 3 tires that only the flat tire needed to be replaced, and that I owed nothing for the tire, but had to pay for the labor (which was a reasonable cost that did not surprise me)). They changed the tire quickly and did an excellent job with the complimentary cleaning of the interior and exterior of the car. I liked them better than the service departments at the two BMW dealerships near my home. I wish I lived closer to Westbrook BMW!

First time I came in they quickly diagnosed and confirmed my suspicion that I needed a new fuel tank, which was covered under the SULEV warranty thankfully, received a car wash that I didn't ask for, and they corrected it very nicely after a returned for the repair, all the workers I was in contact with were very polite and well versed, I'm very glad to have visited here and will for any big repairs needed!!

The only place I will buy a car. Zach is a true professional guiding through every phase of the process. This is not your old car sales model. This is more of a consultant model where clients are treated as intelligent consumers. It makes purchasing a new car a complete pleasure

I guess being the only BMW dealership in Maine allows the salesmen at this dealership to feel as though they can treat customers as poorly as they d like. My husband and I stopped in to look at a new BMW but were blew off by the salesman and the sales manager. We were told the X5s are sold before they are unloaded from the truck and there were no vehicles for us to look at or test drive. We were told there were two vehicles on the lot, one that was sold and one the was in the shop being unwrapped from delivery. We couldn t look at either. When I inquired if the one in the shop was sold, I was told no. There was still no offer to look at or test drive that vehicle then or when it was done being processed. That same vehicle sat on their lot for two weeks or more.I emailed the service manager later regarding our experience. He quickly emailed me back stating his salesman offered us to look at the sold vehicle as well as the one in the shop. Both lies. The sales manager s customer service is equally as dismal as the salesman.It doesn t feel good to spend $78k+ on a vehicle from a dealership that doesn t care about quality customer service.We will look elsewhere.We ve purchased 2 vehicles in the past 4 years in the Bill Dodge auto group. This would ve been out 3rd.Worked with Chris & Robert

I want to thanks Tracy for being so helpful but aside from that I would not advise any car who is not BMW to go to this location. I have a MINI and even though they said they work with minis, they were not able to open my hood and charged me $189 cause they went ahead and scanned my car without telling me that there would be an $189 charge for just pulling up my car into their shop. I spoke to the service manager several times after my visit, explained my situation, and he kept saying he will look into it more and call me back, we went in loops for months and they kept denying to answer my question: why was I charged this if nothing was done to my car and a proper diagnosis was not given?I have been to service departments around the country from MINI to others, and they always give you the costs upfront. Had I known they were NOT going to open my hood and charge me $189 for scanning my car to tell me the same thing my dashboard was telling me, I would have not gone here. I felt robbed because they did not give me that option. Bad procedure, but I feel like they do it on purpose just to get money out of people. Very distasteful.

The sales associates were amazing. Low pressure professional staff. I was very happy with the salesman and sales manager. I live in Vermont and was told by the finance department they could transfer my previous plates to the new car. It has been two months and today I had to ask for the paperwork to do it myself. I would shop here if I lived in Maine. You may want to be careful shopping here if you are not from Maine. Again, sales team was great and the car is great.

We went to Bill Dodge looking for a new car. We were met by Chris. Chris was nothing less than amazing! I am a sales manager for a living and I usually don t like car shopping, however Chris made this an awesome experience for my husband and I. Really was relaxed, listened, patient and kind! If you re looking for a BMW Chris is the guy! Just a really awesome experience!

Very responsive. I sent an inquiry through car gurus on a new listing after they closed for the evening, and I received a reply outside business hours asking if I had any questions and letting me know I would be contacted in the morning. Sure enough I was contacted the next morning and was very pleased that the car was ready to view (unlike many others that say it has to go through the shop first and they aren t sure how long before it will be ready). I went to look at the car the same day and couldn t be happier with the experience. Brandon was a great salesman, not pushy and very willing to answer any questions I had. I decided to buy the car and went back to pick it up the next day. Fast and easy. Thank you!

I had previously left a 5 star review shortly after purchasing two BMWs within 6 months of each other.So far, the experience on the service side has been expensive and frustrating.Right after buying my car, they didn t secure the oil plug properly which led to my car leaking every ounce of oil out of it so the vehicle had to be towed to be fixed .Then it was in for a vapor barrier when they forgot my car was there and I had to wait almost two weeks to get it back.My wife s car had a bad alignment when we got the car. I brought it in twice and they said it was fine. Then the strut collapsed while my wife was driving. The vehicle had to be towed. No doubt in my mind this was causing the alignment issues that they ignored.I now brought her vehicle in for some noise coming from the driver side front wheel. They said it was the wheel bearing. Spent around $1k and it did nothing.I brought it back in last Friday for them to take a look. They called and said they d get back to me by Saturday at 2pm. No call came. I finally called at 3pm and they were closed. We ve been without her car since Friday and it s Monday afternoon when I finally hear back.Now they are saying it s her tires. I don t believe them. I won t have any other repairs done here except for the services we pre-paid for.

Recently bought a 2018 BMW M550i MSRP at $83,000. 30 days later I am back at BMW getting all new tires because they had failed state inspection standards. JUST 30 after purchase. I have called 6 different managers. Still have not received a call back. They have been dodging my calls. Double check everything before you buy from them. I would suggest going to a different BMW dealer. BMW Westbrook is terrible. BMW Westbrook had bad customer service.

This dealership could not have made things easier. They were very transparent and honest about their pricing and entire process. These guys get it. Steve in finance was very down to earth and Jo was very responsive from day one with all my questions and being a first time BMW owner. They beat the price of my local dealers by 15k (my areas market adjustment). They followed through on their word as I was coming from Maryland and them being up in Maine made me think they were going to do a switch on pricing or just make it a bad situation all around, but it was quite the opposite. Jo even offered to pick me up from the airport himself, which I gladly took up the offer on. I would definitely do business with them again and these are the dealerships we need to remember when everything goes back to whatever normal is/was. Very knowledgeable with how the vehicle works but most of all they were honest and that goes a long way in this industry.

Year after year, constantly spectacular. I m on BMW number three and while I ve gone to local privately owned mechanic shops that specialize in foreign cars, BMW of Westbrook Service Center is the number one BMW service center in the area.Attentive, thoughtful, thorough, professional and efficient. Saving a small percentage on labor and parts with them has repeatedly proved not worth suffering through their lack of customer service, their lack of ability to follow up, and their lack of desire to accommodate the customer first rather than themselves.I ll stick with the real deal: BMW of Westbrook even if they don t get real cream for the waiting area

I m absolutely disappointed at the service we received and lack of communication with BMW of Westbrook. Me and my fianc� schedule to see a vehicle that was available when I reached out and set a appointment. We were scheduled to come in the following day to see the vehicle at 5:30pm we cleared out afternoon schedules only to come to the dealership to be told rudely the vehicle was sold maybe a day or two ago , with no communication or a courtesy phone call , Email or text to notify us prior to us showing up and wasting my day to come in I find it unprofessional and not trustworthy of a dealership to do that to a potential client. As a business owner myself I find it not okay to pretty much lure a client in and waste their time to have no solution. Definitely will not be shopping here.

They have had my car for three weeks, fourth starting on Monday. Garth in service does not follow up and I don't believe what he is telling me is the truth. Told me it was going to be ready on several occasions only to be told, when I called, it was not. Brought it there because they are a dealer and I assumed they knew what they are doing. Do not use them for service!!!

Made an appointment to have our 2019 bmw x3 looked at for an exhaust leak coming from under the vehicle by the passenger side. Noticed there is a clamp there with a gasket. After sitting most of the morning there was told it was the gasket and was replaced. 379 dollars later only to find out it wasn't touched. Still leaks. I wonder how many other people they take advantage of. Would never recommend them.
