Tried to return an unopened headlight bulb with receipt but they wouldn t accept the return because it was over 45 days. They could have easily given me my money back and put the bulb back on the rack with no cost to them, but securing a $17 sale was worth losing a customer. Great marketing. The cashier even suggested that I sell it on EBay. Thanks for nothing.

Advance Auto Parts in Westbrook, Maine gave me top notch customer service this evening. Labor Day weekend, one employee on duty, and between other customers Zachary was able to change out my dead battery for a new one. I had no way to do it myself and work long hours Sat-Mon, so was not sure how I'd get to work. I'm a very grateful customer and will use this location in the future for my auto needs!

Unfortunately was given the improper part in accordance with the part number offered and when I went to exchange on a Saturday at 430pm, nobody was there and the doors were locked with a sign saying out for deliveries ..

Came in on Monday to buy 1" coolant hose. First employee, a much older gentleman, told me they didn't have the part. I showed him the part number and asked him to re-enter it as I could see the item on the website. He declined, became immediately irritated, and began to raise his voice and reiterate they didn't have the 1" coolant hose. I politely asked him to re-try the part number after noticing he left out the first two characters. He declined, and angrily (and loudly) told me the first two characters arent needed. I moved over to the next associate as I found this very disturbing.The older gentleman attempted to tell the other associate he'd already looked it up, theres no need to look it up again, then began insulting me under his breath, all the while the other associate tried to help me find the item. This associate immediately found the item and went to get me a section of it and finished the transaction...all the while I had to listen to this older man insult me from behind the counter under his breath.Some of the worst service I've ever received. It's a shame too, as I usually look forward to my visits to Advanced.

I went there to find a part. They didn t have the part. The associate at the counter called around and found the part for me. It was at another store, but he helped me anyway. Excellent customer service.

Very good experience here buying a fog light for my truck! Cashier was very nice, knowledgable & helped me find exactly what i was looking for

Went in with the actual store website on my phone, set to the location of the store I was in, which stated that they had a particular part, *in stock* for around $25 each. In spite of this, the old guy behind the counter insisted they had none in stock, they'd have to order it and that they were over $70 each.Obviously this place is a con job. I wouldn't recommend going here.I found what I needed at a competitor's store, at the price I expected and which was advertised on their site.

This past week was super cold and I came into the store to buy a kerosine container to fill my oil tank. Mike the associate that was helping me was very nice and pleasant. Even thou they didn t have what I need but he went out of his way to try and offer me other items that could work. Even with people in line waiting he still took his time and helped me. Thank you advance auto for your help!!!

If you are over 60 you may want to reconsider shopping here. The sales reps do not wear masks or social distance. They don't give it a second thought. They know they don't have the virus. They are smart. If you are under 40 don't worry and enjoy shopping here.

I called for an oil pan gasket the guy asked the year and make of my car after acting like he looked it up he comes back and says "we are all out of them" . I never told him what engine. So I said what engine gasket are you out of he said the 350 engine. I said I have a 3.6 ltr not the 5.7ltr 350. His response was they might have one later as they are unloading the truck. He lied. Why not tell the truth. We are understaffed and can't deal with a simple oil pan gasket.

Every time I come into this store, I'm treated like I don't know what I'm talking about. Eye rolls and sarcastic answers. I can only guess it's because I'm female because when I'm with a guy they get helped with no issues. Work on your customer service or you're bound to lose more customers.

People like my reviews, is it my pic lol, I'm fat now but still look good lol, or is it my candor and down to earth look at things ... Jjoking..Advanced Auto has always been great even the one in Sanford, I noticed the Westbrook one is very helpful and courteous answering all my questions accurately. Let me use a sqrewdriver and was attentive to my issue guiding me in the correct decision.. 5 stars very helpful..

Closed on a Sunday, lights are on, no notice that they're closed for service, I need a battery replacement asap, you're service is terrible. Post when you're closed

These people have always helped even if they didn't have the product at that store. They pointed me on where to get it if they could not. Very recommended. Especially the Portland store ..

This place is awful, zero customer service, the young guy keeps chowing tobacco and spitting in the battle while checking me out, he gave me the wrong part, I came back second day to return it they refused the return even though it was their fault.

Every time I go here to get parts the staff is very rude and has no clue what they are talking about. They try to get you out as fast as possible . And are not helpful

Well if you buy something from them better make sure you want it ,I bought a jack from them and changed my mind on it becuz I talked to some one who bought the same jack ,well I brought it back with a receipt and they asked me if I used and it and I told them no becuz I didn't so they called there manager and asked and told there manage yeah it looks he used it there's a scratch on the handle called me a liar right to my face, spend thousands a year there ,and the geek behind the counter laughed at me as I walked out

All i can say is : if you happen to have an accent and or have a hard time translating part names to inglish language .get the proper part names in inglish. And you know what!!!?? If you are thinking returns... Domt bother, they get a special training program for curve and manipulate whenre-emburment words come up

Ok helpful quality iffy you need to know what you are getting something are better to pay more don't want to put 3 fuel pumps in because of quality
