Stopped at the shop bc the car sounded really rough. Eric the owner was generous enough to lend us a socket and a breaker bar bc out tire was loose. We tightened up the lug nuts and away we went. Thank you to Eric and the crew for helping us in a pinch!!!! Much appreciated sir!!!!

Long time customer due to the honesty integrity and service at this establishment. My last visit once again confirmed my thoughts. A $1500 job actually came in under budget by $150 .Try and match that anywhere else !

Eric is a 2 man garage and dose a hell of a good job! Car was done in record time! Price was great! Right on RT.1 south and easy to get too! Fast Friendly and the price is right! Me & family are here in Wells on vacation & unfortunately, our 2010 Dodge Nitro started making noise that appeared to be coming from the rear wheel area of the vehicle. This establishment was kind enough to fit us in to their very busy schedule which I greatly appreciated. As it turned out, we recently had our tires rotated & the repair shop we used back home hadn't properly tightened the lug nuts! These folks quickly diagnosed loose lug nuts to be the issue & re-torqued them on all four wheels solving the problem... Their professionalism & honesty in not trying to sell us parts & services we didn't need is appreciated beyond measure! Needless to say, I will be recommending Wells Auto Care to all my family & friends back home in upstate NY as many of them also vacation in Southern Maine... Wells Auto Care has certainly earned my trust & a Five Star rating!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I called this shop and ask the receptionist for a quote for specific vehicle with a specific problem. . The receptionist explained that I need to bring the car in. I explained what the problem was and only wanted a quote. She said no!! and that they don t give any quotes over the phone! I also saw this in another review so I had to post mine also..This is not right, we as customers are trying to save a few dollars and have the right to find out and know the problem ahead of time and just need to get the repair done!

I called this shop and ask the receptionist for a quote for specific vehicle to change the water pump. The receptionist tells me I have to bring the car in. I explain to her I already know what is the problem and wanted to get a quote. The receptionist responded; Nope!! We don t give any quotes over the phone! I hope the owner of this shop read this because it is bad business not to offer a quote over the phone for just to change a water pump on a vehicle. Bad business practices!! They just want you to come in and rip you off right in there.

From out of town and on vacation in Ogunquit. Car had a major problem and we took it to Eric. Car was fixed within a day and the parts and labor costs were very fair. Highly recommend.

Needed brakes. Found out I needed rotors and a caliper as well. Eric was helpful and professional. Job was completed the same day and he saved our vacation.

Went to get my car there today Saturday April 29th to get it inspected for the 3rd year and as i started on the lift I was ordered to get out and leave for absolutely no reason. So unprofressional and rude. I would suggest that people go elsewhere for any auto service.
