Can I give it no stars? I was visiting sick parents in Maine. I live 142 miles away and my car was making a funny noise on the way up. I was going to be there for several days. "Call Brown's", my father said when I arrived. I called and left a message. They never called back.Then I emailed from their website and again explained the situation and got no response whatsoever. They certainly didn't care about someone having car troubles.

If I could give this man -0 stars I would . First he charged me 35$ to take the tire off to check it. When he put my tire back on he double threaded my studs on the tire, when I went back for him to correct it,he was totally unprofessional he argued with me that nothing was wrong with it, his assistant wasn't any better they both seemed to not care. I told him I came here 2 days ago , and that he was the last person to put the tire on, him and his assistant act as if they didn't see the stud clearly sticking out more than the others. He asked me what would you like me to do? I told him the stud isn't on right. He began to tighten the stud more causing more damage . He became frustrated and had the audacity to tell me he's not gonna do anything, and walked away. I'm a woman and I drive 35-40 miles to work daily...If you are black, or brown in anyway DO NOT go here. He's gonna jack up prices on you and if he does make a mistake he's not even professional enough to make it right. I'll NEVER go back here and I regret giving him any time of day.

My husband, son, and I came up to Ogunquit for our annual November getaway and ended up losing the starter in my Honda CR-V midway through the week. AAA towed us to Brown's at our request since I had to choose a service station and I saw some good reviews. The tow truck driver added his endorsement so I felt reasonably safe. Instead, the service was beyond expectation. The tow truck could only take one of us, so I called two taxis as a backup for my husband and son who were down the road a mile. When the taxis didn't show up, Bob offered to drive me to go pick them up himself. They worked all day to try and finish the job but it proved to be extensive, so they offered to drive us to our hotel and pick us up in the morning since they knew taxis were hard to come by! As promised, we were picked up in the morning, and I was shocked to find the final price of the job much lower than I expected. These guys went above and beyond for us and saved our vacation. They are honest, hard-working, and trustworthy. So glad we chose them!

This garage overcharged me towing my vehicle from traffic light at corner of Hannaford's shopping center to Bob's Auto Body, $180.00, more than anyone else in the area & they do not take AAA.
