Very friendly people. The food is fairly cheap and tastes amazing. A good little truck stop diner to eat. The people know everyone around here so it's a cozy welcoming environment. Lots of fishing around the area too

Ordered Philly cheesteak and had nothing on it it said came on it. Only got meat and cheese but the chicken club was made exactly how it said and was amazing. Wish they made my Philly cheesteak right and they would have got 5 stars.

Is a shame that they don't have more than 7 parking spots available for trucks.Food is excellent, friendly personnel and great variety of drinks and snacks.

Won't eat here again. Ordered the grilled cheese basket. Got a grilled cheese a half a handful of super greasy, undercooked fries, and a tiny pickle. Deli sign specifically says fries coleslaw, pickle and roll come with a basket. But not the one I ordered so says lily behind the counter. And when I say maybe the sign should read that way I get an "okay" .but her face and tone say ****off and that's the most straight forward part of the experience.Store is clean, cashier was nice. Deli is hella expensive and not worth the money.100$ gift card gets you 24 breakfast sandwiches?!Crazy people make this stuff up.

honestly such a weird place i kind of love it. They have a super extensive vegan menu with probably the best pizza in the area, also vegan meatball subs which ive never seen before. But like they do have fox news playing constantly which I would think goes counter to the vibe of having a whole vegan menu but anyways.Great vegan pizza cheap vegan pizza

Placed an order of fried pickles but wasn't able to get them in time due to a large order ahead of me and having to go back to work. This is the first "Non-positive" experience I've had at Andes and would still give them 100 stars if I could. Amazing staff, incredible food, do not sleep on this place, but definitely plan ahead if you're ordering at rush hour! Must tries: Crab rangoons, fried haddock, and the chicken philly, all the best I have EVER had! To the staff: You are incredible, thank you for everything you do!

Coming from a local, this gas station is easily the best one in Knox County for a car driver, I can't speak for trucks. This is a very easy in and out spot as well as a good location to get gas on route one. The gas station is very clean and organized as well has a good stock of items. They have all the basic gas station foods you can get almost any gas station but they also offer tons of hard alcohol as well as beer. They also have a pretty decent spot to eat lunch at inside as well. The food has never disappointed and is actually a spot I would come out of my way to get food at. The tenders are some of the fresher tenders in the area with a variety of sauces. They also offer other take out food as well as meals you can eat in what you could call their dining area. Prices have always been good. Andes used to be a small gas station that was kind of crummy to look at but offered good food. Now it is a brand New Shell that offers great food as well as great presentation. The customer service has never disappointed and has always been great with me. The managers can order stuff too if you are looking for a certain item (this is more towards the alcohol section but is not limited to just that). If you ever see the managers please say high because they are some of the friendliest people in the area. There is also a bottle redemption area as well that got redone that looks really good too. Overall, this is a great place and I can easily call it one of the best gas station in Knox County and could argue in Maine.

Well Andy's used to be the place to stop for great take out food. I must say I was very disappointed after spending $35.00 for for..it all went in the trash. So very disappointed. Actually McDonald's REALLY would have been better. Sorry just saying the truth. The others that had the food I bought sadly thought the same. ALL of it went into the trash. I guess I'll know better from now on. I will let family and friends know NOT to go there.

Got some Cajun crispy chicken tenders and fries, delicious!The chicken strips are homemade-- the batter is delicious, crispy; the chicken juicy and not overcooked. The fries were a step above your typical french fries. Honestly, if you're gonna do short-order bar style food, make it fresh! These guys do.Yes, the wait was about 20 minutes, but considering it was dinner time, and the food freshly prepared, people should expect to wait.

It's convenient for It's location on a major highway, but that's about it, I travel Rte 1 quite often for work and stop here on occasion, now it's totally ludicrous with there store made food, when a lobster roll that can fit in the palm of my hand costs $18, that's just f'ing insane. How can they justify charging that much? I mean do they enjoy the fact that they have a bad reputation?

I have had lots of food from here, was always hot and fresh....today I got the 16 piece fried shrimp. I wish I had looked at them before getting home. So overcooked it was terrible. Will check all food from now on before leaving Andes.

Great place to get good food at a good price.Edit: after reading other recent reviews both 5 star and 1 star I have to say I'm a regular for a reason. People just look for reasons to complain. Nothing is ever 1 star. The people are good, the food is good, the kitchen staff know what they are doing. There are 2 places I'd go out of my way to get pizza. This is one of them. Note of fact, a burger and fries at McDonald's is crappy unlike here and McDonald's costs more. Fast fake food costs more than to order real food.

Live in Jefferson so it's quite a ride but so worth it! Had an all meat pizza, generous toppings and cooked perfectly. Looking forward to trying some more of their menu.

Huge variety for a convenience store and great options for both ready-made food like pizza by the slice, and short-order food. I've had the cheese pizza and a haddock sandwich and both were memorably good. The staff, also, were surprisingly friendly, helpful, and - I'm afraid - patient.

In the recent months, they have raised their prices to absurd amounts. There is no reason a sausage breakfast sandwich should be $5 and a small portion of pasta salad $10. A large size bag of beef jerky is $20.99. They will no longer be receiving my money!

What a great convenience store. The food is amazingly good. Such great people who work here. There is such a great variety on the menu and the store is stocked with everything you need in a rush. The beer cave is great. The wine selection is amazing. The hrs are great. This place also serves as a truck stop for big rigs. Its $10 a nite and showers are available at a small cost. Location is awesome. There is a brand new bottle redemption located in the same location as store hrs are 8-4 mon thru Saturday and Sunday 10-4.

WICKED TUNAS BOB COOK WAS IN TODAY!!!! Salads are GREAT!! Good chicken as well.. Update. 10/03/2021. $6 bucks for a frigging grilled cheese now. A GRILLED CHEESE!!!

while the place is clean and staff friendly I don't reccomend this as a stop to my fellow truckers. I asked if they were open all night after being told parking was $10.00, and his response was " we're a small town and can't afford that." well then you shouldn't be charging hard working truckers to park. you guys just lost 150 gallons of diesel from me. I won't stop here again.

I love there food at this store, but the people there are so rude. They have no customers service skills at all. They answer the phone andies what do you want. When you place the order there like yup what else. And when you go there to get your food there is one lady who asked what the name was on the order and then rolled her eyes at me. I'm all done with the disrespect when I go into that store and I will not be back.

Gross. Order a 4 piece chicken, & mashed potatoes. Got home & the chicken had more grease in it then chicken, & the potatoes was thinner then water. I'll never go back there again, & I would suggest the same to whoever reads this.

Craigs a cool guy but i guess if you get bigger customer service goes down a bit, Good thing i got a good sense of smell bought what i thought was chicken nuggets and turns out it was Jalapeno poppers.. Good thing i didnt eat them i would of been hospital bound.. Im allergic to jalapeno peppers and my ulcer would of exploded.. Gotta do better labeling or dont throw this in there or that in there... This is like the 4 or 5 time thats happened.. Last one was well i thought chicken nuggets and it was broccoli..

Hate to brag but I worked there for ten years as kitchen supervisor. Id say i was a good reason that the kitchen does so well.The best steak n cheese sub you'll ever eat.keep up the good job craig
