This is a huge store like a typical HD. I can't think of a single time when my wife and/or I have not found what we needed or wanted at the Rockland store. I only have compliments and high recommendations for this store. The company is very well managed.

Home Depot s strength are the wonderful and helpful staff. Topsham excels. This is what saved this from a three star rating. I had a cart full of items, went through self pay and then found out there s no Apply pay. No signs, no warning. Was directed to customer service where confusion reigned. All major stores take virtual payment. Home Depot has to figure this out or I will be forced to head to Lowe s after 20 years.

We visit this Home Depot location often, and the service is always excellent. But while purchasing a new barbecue grill last weekend, we received some of the best service ever from a phenomenal associate named Trish. Not only did she help us load our grill into our car with a friendly, kind personality, but when it got a bit stuck: she offered to drive it to our house after her shift. (We made it fit, so no worries!) Trish is an absolute rock star, and we were so impressed by her amazing kindness and outstanding customer service. Thank you to Trish and the entire Home Depot Topsham crew: we are so lucky to have you all in our community!!!

DO NOT BUY LAWN MOWERS FROM THEM. I spent $2600 before tax on a Toro Zero Turn 42" mower. I have never spent that kind of money on something to take care of my yard before and expected it to be a fun experience to have a nicer lawn mower. I spent extra money renting a UHAUL truck and trailer when free delivery was included so I didn't have to wait the extra 2-3 weeks for it to be delivered. After getting it home and carefully reading through the instruction manual, I spent an hour and a half trying to get it to start. I'm fairly sure the battery is dead but I don't have a volt meter to test it. The mower does not turn over at all when turning the key. I made sure all the built in safeties were satisfied and poured through the manual another 2 times thinking I had missed something. I put gas in the tank and checked the oil level. I took the engine cover off and discovered the main drive was all rusted and was in contact with a part that it shouldn't be in contact with! I called and the Home Depot managers won't send a truck to come get it because they didn't deliver it! So they expect me to spend more money on a UHAUL to return a defective product that they sold me as "brand new". You can decide for yourself if the pictures below look brand new or not. Needless to say, I will never buy a lawn mower or anything else they are showing off outside from Home Depot again.UPDATE: I called customer service and they told me even though it was FREE DELIVERY I passed on using, they would not pick it up for free because they didn't deliver it. This is realistically a scam at this point. They sold me an expensive defective product and won't pick it up without charging me close to $80! So instead of potentially offering to reimburse me for what I spent to have it early, they are now trying to get more money out of me. At this point I'm just completely dumbfounded on how this is ok. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

There ok, jbut if you want anything, thats a large amount like I needed 20 30 x 80 doors and they wouldn t even try to come up with them for me. They told me I would have to drive from Home Depot to Home Depot and pick them up what I could anyway and thats why I use lowes because they actually try to help you out not just say I can t help you

People working there are always available, but self checkout is sometimes your best 2nd option. Takes awhile to get checked out. Only four and 2 are card only. Usually only the one cashier at the end is open . Lumber stuff usually. Line gets long and arduous. 50/50 closet one around work.

Joyce at the Topsham Home Depot was So WONDERFUL tonight! I was at home in Bath trying to push an order through for 3 appliances and needed help due to technical issues. My husband and I drove over to Topsham. We found Joyce. She was wearing so many different hats covering several departments, covering a dinner break and running the service desk! She delivered service with a smile, but most of all her KNOWLEDGE! She was well rounded in all aspects of each department. She knew her stuff! I hope the store manager knows how lucky they are to have her!! I am rating my experience 5 stars. Hold onto your tenured employee s and reward Joyce with some type of incentive! She is the foundation of your success!

Always has what I need for around the home projects, but I sometime feel that employees will look the other way when you could use a hand loading heavy things LOL

There is not enough selection on certain items, like cabinets and lighting. Only stocks the most popular selling items, low stock on cheaper items. But sells better name brands for power tools. The staff tends to have better knowledge than other stores, especially if you can find the pro.

Drive OTR and this was one of my drop locations.. the receiving people were AMAZIN n SO HELPFUL!! Hats off to the crew members in receiving at home Depot in TOPSHAM MAINE!!

We went to Home Depot in Topsham Maine today on Memorial Day, we had a very friendly and knowledgeable employee help us, which was also a Veteran. He answered every question we had and found what we needed. His name was Richard and he helped us in the plumbing section. Great job Richard and thank you for all your help today

One very important thing to note: due to the construction you have to go into the Topsham Fair Mall a different way and take different roadd to get there, almost like going around a large city block, just to be aware. This place has everything. It is at thexTopsham Fair Mall. People are helpful and friendly. Great home improvement store, garden center, lumber, tools, hardware, lighting etc etc as you are aware though everything has gonecup in cost, especially lumber plywood, sheetrock building supplies in general. They have a huge parking lot and contractor area.

Friendly team members always willing to help locate things.Visited today and there was no lack of staff willing to help.I have been to dozens of Home Depot's over there years. This store should stand proud with the exemplary customer service.

I filled out a form online to get a fence put in but was never contacted. I went to the store to ask and they put me through the same exact online form and same results, no contact. I'm giving it 3/5 because they're still a standard Home Depot that has everything you need but I would just avoid if you want them to put in a fence

I was pleasantly surprised today with all the good mornings I received. George working in lumber (10/4), assisted with making cuts and educating me on different plywood options available. George was excellent and did not make me feel like I was inconveniencing him at all! This is a great store with great service. Thank you!

Both sales persons were rude. No smiles, I said to the guy loading my order, hey i'll pay you $20 /hr to help me put these heavy stones down. I was just joking around! He just said, you couldn't afford me! I get $100/hr if i leave this site. Like i said, no smiles, no levity. these guys really hate their jobs. Too bad

We generally opt for Lowe's as they are the more socially conscious of the big box home improvement stores but Home Depot met our recent tool rental needs. Renting equipment online was easy and convenient and in-store customer service was stellar! Specifically, I visited the tool rental dept to rent a dehumidifier and the gentlemen who helped me was kind, conscientious, and knowledgeable. The woman who later helped me locate what I needed to load the dehumidifier into my car was equally helpful and knowledgeable. Overall this was a great experience and if we were more local to Topsham, I would shop there more bc of those two employees!

Don't expect help. There's no help available to load materials to purchase or to help load your vehicle. This is indicative of the worker shortage in this area. Sad because Home Depot isn't usually like that.

I put a deposit down and reserved a leaf blower a week in advance. I got a text 2 hours before I was supposed to pick it up saying it s unavailable. Home Depot clearly doesn t know how reservations work

While checking out I asked for money back and they only gave me 5s and 1s... 50 dollars worth... The manager wouldn't help the cashier out, he just told the young man to give the small bills instead of walking the 30 feet (I saw him talking on his phone) to do a simple thing and change the bills. The only reason I gave more than zero stars was the floor staff were friendly and helpful.

Requested a standard door installation, nothing special about the installation, inquired about having a small pet door. Had installers come by, took measurements, never heard back. Almost a month later, they had to find the measurements; $2200 estimate. Mind boggling. YouTube it is.

There are some good/interesting plants but there are fungus gnats and spider mites sometimes. The prices can be high for what you get.The real issue for me, is that I constantly get "are you sure you don't need help?" after I've already said no and "what are you using that for young lady? That's a big wire, how many amps do you need?" when I've made it clear I know I have what I need. When I'm loading bags of sand, concrete mix, gravel, or soil onto the cart it's the same story. Only from the male employees - the women (also the manager and Loren) have left me alone when I said I was all set. I worked construction for years and teach electronics/robotics. I just want to be treated the way the male contractors are. I ask for help when I need it.It's fine to offer help, but rude to ignore what I say and keep pushing. I'm sure it's well-intentioned but It's also annoying.

Another good store except that it's tuff getting good help. It's time to pay your help better the one man that showed interest in helping me find what I needed was awesome but I went through 2 or 3 before I found him. This guy delivered me to the location I needed. The others pointed fingers and sometimes didn't even look up. But a nice store with some very good people. But the others lacked training! I hope

There's really nothing special to report at this Home Depot; it's pretty much the same as you'll find everywhere else.The only notable difference: this one can be difficult to find. It's not on the main road, but off to one side on a cut-through. Not sure why, but one of those intersections has a smallish 'Home Depot' sign (oddly, there is just the store name no arrow *pointing* the way) up on a 10-foot pole and the other end of the cut-through road has /no/ sign. Don't take my word for it. This is such a screwy setup even Google Maps Nav was confused *after* I'd made the correct turn!

Home Depot is a longer drive from home for me so I tend to favor Lowe's in Brunswick. But Home Depot has a great selection of merchandise and their staff members tend to have more experience in the building trades so they can better advise customers. When building a major deck this summer we made good use of Home Depot's rental shop and the tools are always clean and in good working order. The store has a big stock of things for Christmas and I snagged a super deal on AA and AAA batteries, enough to last me for a year or two. I really like the store.

Home Depot Topsham, how many people have you killed or endangered? Employees not properly wearing masks and not distancing. Some pull them over the nose only when someone is within a few feet. No enforcement of mask requirement for customers. I talked with the employee who served a bare faced customer in front of me. "Why didn't you tell him he had to wear a mask?" Silence. The manager said they don't refuse service to anyone because they are following guidelines as an essential service. Last I checked, masks are required. And retailers are responsible for enforcement. Home Depot, you care more about money than your customers' well-being. I hope one day you'll develop a spine and do the right thing.

The home Depot was great. The reason for only 4 stars was I checked on line they had what I wanted, scooted in, got it and went through the self check on the way out. I don't feel that I can rave since I never interacted with anyone. I do love the Home Depot
