I have a 1985 Mercury, needed a section of the exhaust system replaced, as you can imagine parts are no longer available for this car . Meineke completely remanufactured an exact duplicate of the section that needed replacing, I couldn't believe how accurate and an exact fit. Not only did they manufacture this part in house, they did it in less than one hour and a lot less than I ever imagined. True story and my first choice for auto repair. Thanks guys

Couldn't have had a better experience. I was there with my 80 year old grandmother, Marleen, who gave Donald at the front desk a run for his money. The whole group was very informative and accommodating and we would both recommend to anyone.

I was very happy with the customer service.Traveling through, I stopped by to see if I could get a quick oil change, and was able to get right in.Nothing beats small town service and that's what you get at this location.Thanks for the great experience.

Just moved to Topsham, needed a new mechanic(s), and Dorian and Don got me in on very short notice for work on my '08 RAV4. They did the work I asked for, and alerted me to two things that also needed to get done (zero-pressure sale). I felt secure in giving the go-ahead, and the entire experience was very good. They're also super nice, communicative people; I'll definitely be back when needed. Thanks again, Dorian and Don.-Kris

Donald got me in and out in absolutely no time. He absolutely crushed it and made it a great experience. I have no idea how much that dude is getting paid but I am telling you right now that it isn t enough. Donald, if you end up reading this I just want to say thanks for being a real one. Always satisfied with Meineke. They get my vehicle appointment made in a timely fashion and I am happy with their work. Only gripe is the hourly cost but that's everywhere these days. I'm a return customer. They are knowledgeable and friendly.

Our car was limping into Meineke with no heat in Maine in the middle of winter! They fit us in as soon as they could and took very good care of us. They had us back up and running fast and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them!

Easy experience for an exhaust patch. Welds looked great and was out of there in a timely manner. Customer service was a positive experience as well. 5 star lacking solely on price. But no slight on the service provided. Would revisit

Had a squeaking sound for 2 weeks, went to two shops for diagnostic and got bad information and terrible quotes forcing me to change the tensioner and alternator myself to find that the problem was unchanged both times. One of which was a Honda dealership. Brought it to the guys here and they nailed it first time. It was the water pump. My part was $155 coolant was $25 labor was like $400 I ve seen worse. Return customer. Would reccomend.

Made an appointment for an inspection several days in advance. Showed up and they told me they were out of stickers. A heads up call to say they couldn t honor the appointment would have been nice.

Professional and courteous service. Easy to schedule online and the staff always communicate on work needed and price. They also look for ways to save me money whenever possible. They always work with the customer around their needs. Great place to have maintenance done.

I was traveling alone on the highway and about a mile south of the exit the oil light came on. I felt fortunate that the exit was so close. By a stroke of luck I pulled into the Topsham Meineke shop. When I first entered I was greeted and then had to wait a minute or two while the fellow at the desk was calling other shops in the area to help a customer find a part for his car that they didn t have in house. When it was my turn I asked if anyone had time for an oil change. The gentleman at the front desk checked with his crew and all was a go. My car went into the garage immediately and the work was performed quickly and thoroughly. That, however, is only half the story.I had witnessed the fellow at the desk interact with coworkers and customers in person and on the phone in such an engaging and respectful manner. (for that matter, all three men in the shop treated each other with respect) And then somehow he was asking me, a 70 year old woman, about my travels that day that led me to this location. When you are older you become accustomed, at times, to being almost invisible to others. I replied and one thing segued into another until he was giving me interesting historical knowledge off the top of his head and also googling further information regarding my travels that day. We had a lovely conversation the entire time my car was inside the garage. Once the work was completed I paid my bill and tried to give this young historian a small $5.00 tip at which time he responded, thank you, but if it s okay with you I think we ll give this to the guy who actually worked on your car. To say that I am impressed with the totality of this business would be a huge understatement. I definitely recommend them and if I didn t live so distant from their location would use them for any automotive needs they might handle. This business knows the secret to great customer service!Service: Oil change

Went there for a routine shock absorbers replacement. They had my car for 4 days. When I picked it up and drove it home there was terrible noise and banging coming from the back where the shocks were replaced. I brought it back and it turns out that not only did they throw away parts that they needed to put the new shocks in, but they installed the shocks completely wrong, without their boots and rubber pads and other missing hardware that the shock actually knicked my fuel line!! A simple shock replacement job gone horribly wrong, no oversight no nothing! Complete incompetency! However, when I brought it back, Maura? And the garage foreman saw to fixing it immediately. They were very embarrassed, apologetic, angry, and said that there would be consequences for this. They also checked the fuel line as well. I am still driving around with a compromised fuel line, Meineke should of fixed or patched this but I think they did not know how. You decide for yourself if you want to bring your car there. For me, I will never ever go there again.

I had an exhaust issue that needed to be resolved quickly. Called and they were able to squeeze me in same day. The job ended up going longer than originally anticipated. Donald kept me informed of the progress every step of the way and the crew was meticulous with my repair. The service I received here exceeded my expectations and also the service I receive at my usual repair shop. Will definitely be back!Service: Exhaust

I've now used Meineke in Topsham twice. The first time (two years ago) my muffler fell off and they got me in immediately, charged me a fair price, and got the job done quick. What struck me on that first visit was how nice and helpful the staff was. Knowing this, I went in two days ago to get all my struts replaced; a job I had been delaying for far too long. Same great customer service backed up by a general sense that "these people really know their stuff." I'm sold on this place.Services: Auto exhaust system repair, Steering & suspension replacement

The employees there were so kind and awesome. We don t live local too this shop but we were on vacation and our van suddenly broke down. It was a Saturday afternoon and no place was open so we had the van towed to the nearest mechanic shop which was the Topsham Meineke. We had family come get us and take us home. 2 days later when they open they quickly found the problem and fixed it. They were so nice and fast about everything. I was back at my house so I had to take the Amtrak train back to Brunswick with my 8 year old and walk 2.5 miles from the train station to Meineke and they were aware of this and was expecting us that day. While on the train they called me saying to call them when we arrive at the train station and someone would come pick us up because it was going to rain at any moment and they didn t want us to have to walk 2.5 miles in the rain. That was so sweet and kind of them. The gentleman that picked us up was very nice and welcoming along with all the guys at the shop when we arrived. My car started just fine and I haven t had my issues since. I don t live in the area so unfortunately I probably won t be seeing them again but to anyone else looking for good service and good people to work with I definitely Recommend them.

Passing through town and check engine light came on. auto parts store said it was a temp sensor. Stopped in for appointment and shop was able to get me in next day, not 2 weeks like many others, and correctly diagnosed as thermostat. out in 2 hours and reasonably priced. Thanks for the great service!

The rear brakes on my daughter s car started making noise all of a sudden and she needed to go on a 5 hour trip right away. I called Meineke and they got it in, diagnosed the issue, and repaired it all on the same day I called!

Meineke gets the job done! I had a snapped rear axle, dropped it off on a Monday for a Tues appointment. They got it back to me a few days later after the parts came in, a lot sooner than I thought!

I've had a few services done here in the last year. It began with much cheaper prices on a brake job than anywhere else in the area would quote me. I'm talking hundreds of dollars cheaper. These guys/this business location are honest, good people not trying to rip anyone off. I don't plan on going anywhere else as long as things stay the same. Would recommend to anyone.
