Chris was excellent to work with. I was referred to Chris West Powersports by a local snowmobile dealership and was very glad that I connected with him. He is incredibly knowledgable and incredibly easy and fair to work with. He was straight and honest with me every step of the way. And he still answers my random questions and text messages. I will definitely be going back to Chris and would strongly recommend his services to anyone.

I have a snowmobile clutch that was in need of repair recently. From what I understand, fixing this particular clutch issue is usually not possible. Chris said, "I'll see what I can do" . . . and then he expertly took care of the problem.I am looking forward to doing more business with Chris West Powersports.

Truly exceptional service. I was stuck on the side of the road, Chris rescued me and got me back on the road fast. He is a walking service manual that prioritizes quality work over volume. He makes sure you re set up and fixed the right way. If you want someone who is passionate about motorcycles and a true, professional rider working your machines, this is the place. Honest, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I had an absolutely awesome experience. I Could not recommend this shop enough

Chris really helped me out in the middle of a long motorcycle trip from NC to ME. Terrific guy and terrific mechanic. He s the man you need for any motorcycle work in Maine.

Chris is a great guy, super helpful and knowledgeable about bikes. Helped me a lot this weekend when I crashed my bike and needed some expert advice. Totally saved my weekend and without him I wouldn t have been able to continue racing.

My 91 Kawasaki Vulcan 750 wasn t running right and I had a electrical issue that was making a wire smoke on startup so I brought my bike to Chris and within 2 days of working on it he cleaned my carburetor which was a mess and found not only 1 bad wire but about 7 bad wires and fixed them all and also put new tires on it for me. Now my bike runs like it s brand new. I couldn t be happier with the outcome of my bike. I know from now on if there s anything i need looked at or fixed on it Chris is my first call and I will definitely recommend him to anyone. Chris installed new tires and a new aftermarket exhaust on my 2016 Yamaha FZ 09. He did an excellent job! The turn around time was very quick and the bill was ultra fair. I would highly recommend using this shop for your next service.

I have been working on sleds and Powersports toys for 32 years and I primarily work on my own. I kind of ran into a dead end with my sons Arctic Cat ZR 440 sno-pro. I had already rebuild the motor and the carbs as well as the power valves and the thing was still a gas guzzling and leaking hog that I just could not get right. My brother recommended Chris and he got me right in. He fixed the carbs to a good baseline and many problems for me, and we were running like never before since I bought the thing 2 years prior.After working in the industry for the past 12 plus years I found Chris to be one of the most knowledgeable mechanics I have met. Unfortunately Chris' shop is to far from home for me to give a full review but after seeing him at a few track days I would fully trust him with every one of my bikes. From what I've seen he's extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Quick to help anyone track side. Brought my bike over with an FI light that had actually cleared itself even after just coming off truck he jumped right up to get a look and give me as much info as possible. And c'mon how can you not trust a guy at the track with his wife, daughter and 2 beautiful dogs. Wish I was closer to have him be my go to!

After I put my Yamaha RX1 under water, I immediately called Chris and he was able to get it in his warm shop within an hour of recovering the sled. He recognized the importance of taking care of the sled quickly. After contacting a dealership and getting the usual speal and run around I decided to Google a small business that wanted my business. Chris got right back to me, set up a time to drop off the bike, told us what he thought the problem was and how he was going to fix it. He got it done in record time and the machine ran like a top when we picked it up. But truly what set him apart from others was that on the day we were suppose to pick the bike up, he noticed bad weather rolling in and knew my son had limited seat time and didn't want him caught in wet weather as we live 45 minutes away. I needed a tire changed, and the owner, Chris West, did it same day, as soon as I dropped it off, no questions asked. I did not need to schedule an appointment, and the price for the tire change was more than fair, especially considering it was cheaper than any other shop I ve found, guaranteed.Chris West is extremely honest and professional. If Chris is half as good in the shop as he is on the side of a race track, you are in great shape! He is extremely knowledgable and ready to lend a hand. He jumped to the moment I needed a repair on my bike and finished in the matter of minutes. I just wish I lived close enough to make him my regular go to!

Chris repaired my Kawasaki UTV. I called him, dropped my machine off the next day, and it was done the next day. He does great work and you will not meet a nicer guy. He took me in on a moments notice and got me back out and going within a day....He is experienced in what he does and I would recommend him to anyone !!!!

After being referred from a co worker i got into contact with Chris and brought in my 77 Honda goldwing for more or less a check up, and an 84 honda shadow. The shadow was a bit of a mystery to me being a new bike taken in on trade. Long story short the shadow needed three rounds of parts being ordered but Chris did all the digging and research and kept me updated every day, every step of the way. Which is huge and makes you feel very respected as a customer. The shadow was for my girlfriend who is new to riding this year and after the long process of chasing an issue with the forks he went out of his way to adjust the clutch, and adjust the brakes and add a couple nuts on the rear seat that were missing. Along with doing front and rear tires, and some wiring. Extremely satisfied with his work. My girlfriend and I will be riding confidently this summer.

A hidden gem off the beaten path. Expertly troubleshot metal grinding noise from rear end of my BMW R1200RT. Went the extra mile to inspect other components and ensure the whole system is in top notch condition. Worked on my bike like it was his own. Knowledgeable and skilled in maintenance, repairs, and upkeep on all bikes, quads, and sleds. Well worth the three hour round trip drive!Services: Delivery, Brake service & repair, Oil change

Chris has worked on 4 of our 4 wheelers (3 polaris and 1 kawasaki). Our machines have never run better! Reasonable prices and just an all-around great guy to work with! We will never take our machines anywhere else again.

Chris worked on 2 early 2000 model wheelers for me and did a great job at a fair price, I will be bringing them back to him for any future work. Also going to have him get my sleds ready for winter later this year.
