The sales staff was super friendly and helped explain the entire process from start to finish. There were no gimmicks, no "pushy sales tactics", everyone was honest and straight forward with what our options were. Super satisfied with our new truck!

My truck went in for its 15k service and an inspection sticker. Truck wouldn t pass state inspection due to abnormal wear to the passenger front tire. When I looked at the rear tire on the same side it was also worn in the same spot as the front tire, not as bad but clearly worn. At 10k my tires were rotated. Therefore that means at the 10k service there was a problem with my alignment. The rear tire wouldn t have worn the same way for no reason. They even acknowledged that I was making an accurate statement, but due to no record of abnormal wear at 10k they would not abide by the 12k alignment warranty.For my troubles I was offered a special they were running the previous month of buy 3 tires get one for free. They didn t charge me labor the three days it was there. But they did put different tires on the truck than it originally came off the lot with, more expensive ones without my permission to buy different tires. On top of all of that when I left the dealership last night in the dark, I didn t notice until this morning, they didn t even sticker my truck, which was what it was in there for. The service department is a total joke. I was told that the workers are very meticulous and a mistake of wear like that wouldn t be overlooked, then I leave the lot without an inspection sticker.

In the past two weeks we have had questions regarding our two Toyota cars.The older one showed off & on warning lights on the dash which indicated possible brake problem. It was not immediately evident what the problem was but they did take our car immediately and gave me a loaner. The problem was detected and solved.Our other car was recently purchased. We had some questions on various operations with this car. Frank immediately came out and we sat in the car together while we went over our questions extremely helpful!

We purchased a new Rav 4 hybrid today. Mack Duke was our salesman and he was professional , knowledgeable and available to help with the whole process. He made our trade in and purchase seamless and fun. Corey Robinson also helped with setting up our bluetooth connection and he was patient and professional. I called Shepard to have the driver side window repaired. The folks at the service desk were very courteous and let me drop the car off the following day. After several hours at the shop a service person called me with what sounded like a laundry list of additional and in my view, questionable repairs. He said I needed an oil change to replace a worn drain plug gasket, that the the dashboard and exterior front cowling need to be taken apart to clear the ventilation system of debris. These add-ons were at considerable additional cost. I had just changed the oil and there has never been any discernable oil spots on my driveway. I replaced the cabin air filter and removed what appeared to be some nesting debris from a mouse that accumulated by the filter. The defroster and ventilation system worked/works as it should. My take away from this experience was to be careful of the dealer who tried to goose my repair bill.

I had some work done by them. I had a new rim a whole new set of tires. But they couldn t properly install air valve on the rim properly and ended up ruining my one new tire and more money to get a replacement tire. Would not go back their again.

They didn t answer my calls and delayed service for weeks. After checking it out they said the car wasn t worth fixing. Got it fixed under warranty with a third party and works fine now. Would not recommend the service department as they are impossible to reach on the phone and unhelpful.

While on our first day of vacation a rock pierced the tire. Shepard Toyota fixed it in just a few hours. They also gave us a loaner so we didn't have to wait. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to help us.

Shepard is my dealership for my Toyota. They have a very professional service and body shop. Prices are fair. They work as quickly as possible all the time. I have had positive experiences 100% of the time after a dozen appointments. Recently, I needed a loaner. They had that service. I truly am grateful and thankful for that. I highly recommend Shepard Toyota.

Service people are rude, the lobby and waiting area are awkward, smelly, and super uncomfortable. The place is run down and needs work. Really, the main reason is the manager. While waiting, we watched him come out and berate an old couple and try to coerce them into buying a brand new car they can't afford. They could afford $x per month, he was insistent that 2x their price is still fine and they can afford it. These people are on SS and fixed income. What the hell are you doing? Shady practices from toyota and the worst dealer I've been to thru them. The service dept also tried to tack on a $90 charge for tire rotation that i didnt ask for and didnt need (just got new tires and TOLD THEM I DIDNT NEED ANYTHING EXCEPT A PRESSURE CHECK. THEY EFFED THAT UP TOO.) Corporate needs to take a look at this location for sure.

My wife and I had been discussing purchasing a truck but like most dreaded the thought of going and looking ... in the past it seemed no matter what you were guaranteed to loose a whole day to complete the process. We came across this truck listed on Shepard Toyota website and it seemed to check all the boxes for what we were looking for so we took the plunge and reached out to talk about buying the truck. I have to say this was the fastest and simplest vehicle purchase we have ever made. Corey was great, he kept in touch every step of the way and Bill was there to wrap the deal up for us ... they took care of the paperwork with our lender, they gave us the trade in amount we were looking to get and the final numbers were right where we wanted to be for the total purchase and monthly payment. They contacted us and we went to our lender and then to Shepard and all we had to do was sign the paperwork ... the whole process took a few hour(s) in total from start to finish on our part. We got the truck home and a few day(s) after having it the battery died, I reached out to Bill and Corey and they told me "no worries" they sent out a tow truck and had it hauled back to the dealership and a new battery was put in and a diagnostic scan was done to make sure there was no other problems and we were back up and running in a day. If you see something on their lot I would recommend going in and talking with Bill and Corey or any of the other members of the team ... I know if the need for another vehicle pops up we'll go there first!

Buying my past two vehicles at Shepard Toyota, working with both Bill's on their team was a easy process, no funny business or outlandish markups. They treat you like family, providing a seamless buying experience at a fair market price. Highly recommend purchasing through Shepard, and getting your vehicles worked on by them, best dealership to deal with in the State of Maine. Thank you for making my Highlander purchase such a easy experience.

Not too bad of a place... I have a Tundra that had the frame recall, they replaced my frame and other things they noticed along the way at cost... no issues there...Just recently took my truck there for some maintenance... they found more things along the way, the bill was up there... but its a dealership you gotta expect to pay big there. But even so they gave me a pretty good discount... they took care of me pretty good there...So I'm not even mad at that... Once they completed the work they took it for a test drive to be sure everything was up to spec, and hit a deer with it lol... pretty good place though

Salesman Steve put up with my high energy,, and endless questions.. We enjoyed a no pressure sales atmosphere and appreciated the full transparency. Weeks after we purchased our 2017 f150 Ecoboost.., Steve followed up with a couple messages making sure we were happy and found a good fit. Can't say enough about how wonderful the overall experience was purchasing a vehicle at Shepard!!! They earned our business and loyalty for years to come

A great team of associates at Shepherd Toyota....I'd recommend calling and asking for Corey if you are buying a new or used vehicle. Very patient and informative and a lot of fun too. The general manager took time and stopped by to introduce himself, also other associates were pleasant and genuine while talking to you while you waited....a true family feel. I have worked at six different dealerships and purchased at probably 20....this was the best experience HANDS DOWN!

I've never had an issue with a Toyota dealership before, but this dealership has issues. I scheduled an appointment to have a mirror replaced and they had 3 weeks to order the part. Even though the service advisor and I both made it very clear to the parts department the exact part I needed, they ordered the wrong one. After 3 1/2 hours at the dealership on my appointment day, I left with no mirror, but a new error code about the mirror that they said they couldn't clear. And an additional bonus, they reduced the tire pressure in all 4 tires so I had a low-pressure warning on too and had to add air myself. A very frustrating day and no one seemed to care what an imposition it was spend half a day to walk away worse off than you arrived.

Shepard Toyota truly goes out of their way to provide the best service. I have bought my last 2 vehicles from Peter Gardiner, and I recommend him to family and friends. Both times, the buying process was smooth and easy. He always treats me with dignity, honesty and respect, and that means a lot to me. I am a customer for life. If you are in the market for a new or used car, go see Peter. You'll be glad you did.

Peter Gardner was my salesman and was fantastic to work with. Didn t hound me with spam emails or phone calls, no pressure tactics, and most importantly he found me the vehicle I wanted. The process with Peter was so easy it almost didn t feel like I was buying a car.This is my third Toyota and first from Shepard. The fourth Toyota will come from Shepard as well.

Recently Bought a Tundra from these guys and it was a wonderful experience. even though I knew what I wanted when i got there Bill Sr. was great and helpful. Took it for a test drive and then started the paperwork. in and out as quick as can be. great bunch of guys they have working there. would definitely work with them again in the future!

I bought a used car, a Toyota Highlander, from Shepard s Today. I live in the area and my wife and I have been having service done on our older Toyotas here for years. We have always felt that our cars were well cared for by the service department. The usual routine maintenance, recalls and even unexpected maladies. It was natural then, to include Shepard s in our search for a new used Toyota. I have had several pleasant exchanges with Peter Gardener in Sales over the years when getting an oil change. When our search narrowed down to one very nice car at Shepard s; Peter was the perfect person to have between us and the car. He was knowledgeable on all aspects, helpful when needed, never pushy and always professional in a low-key friendly way that made this the easiest and best car purchase experience I have ever enjoyed. Thanks Pete! We ll probably be back again someday.

Worst service department I have ever experienced! They completely botched 2 oil changes on my new vehicle; I couldn't imagine what kind of job they would do on a repair. I would gladly drive over an hour away for competent service.

Had a Toyota tundra that needed warranty work. Had a dealer warranty. They wouldn t honor the warranty. Because I didn t buy the warranty at that dealer. Warranty company said any dealer is able to use their warranty.
