Kara for taking time to help a total strangers ,whose car battery died. And started our car with her battery car jumper pack. Thank you Kara, I hope your day goes well with the kindness you did today. That is Service!! Rooms clean, Bed clean, warm and comfy. Staff willing to help. We will definitely be back again!

This was an older Hampton Inn probably a tad out of date on renovations but the room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Internet worked well for the work I needed to do. Breakfast was good but the coffee was not great. I d stay again on business for the next time I m in the area.

Everything was great. The room was super comfortable and spacious. The staff was very welcoming. On entrance, the staff provided me with a couple bottles of water and a snack choice. Best stay in the Rockland area.Rooms: Spacious and super comfortableNearby activities: Everything is within a 10 minute drive. Plenty of eateries, drink and places for ice cream. The ice cream shop across the street is Awesome.

Solo work trip - 2 night stay, Saturday - Monday. Mid-May 2023. Room 301, king bed with kitchenette.Clean room. No issues with bathroom or kitchenette. Plenty of space to spread out. Wifi (free) was decent. I didn't pay for the upgraded Wifi. TV channels were basic. TV does not accept casts or have any streaming apps. It may accept HDMI input, but didn't attempt.AC was a little loud, but was functional. As this room is on the corner, the wind (one night of my stay was stormy) was very loud. There is also a fair amount of road noise, due to proximity to a major route in front and a thruway for a car dealership and movie theater out back.Plenty of options for breakfast buffet (hot and cold, protiens, fruit, cerals, etc.), but I didn't try them due to work schedule. Applebee's shares the parking lot and there is a local ice cream stand across the (very busy) street. Walmart is also across the street.Staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. Building was clean and well kept. Could use a little flair - it feels like an airport hotel transplanted into a coastal area.

This is a very clean hotel, comfy pillows and beds, super kind and friendly staff. Due to a toilet issue, I had to repack my stuff and be placed in another room late at night. I wish some sort of compensation would have been offered.Noteworthy details: The breakfast is hot, fresh and delicious. The breakfast attendant is on top of it and everything was well stocked.

Exceptional experience.. When you walk in, you are greeted by a very nice Receptionist, whom is very helpful, offering suggestions for sightseeing and meals. The entire hotel smelled very clean, and was very tidy. The room was wonderful.. The breakfast buffet was perfect, offering so many options. I highly recommend this as a place to stay.

I would highly recommend this hotel for personal/business needs! The staff are friendly and accommodating and the facility is very clean. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and fresh 24hr coffee. The location is close to dining and entertainment as well. I would definitely consider staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites Rockland in the future!

An excellent hotel with great courteous service. We can't wait to visit again and stay here longer than 2 nights!Rooms: The rooms were clean, spacious and the one with a King bed had a very comfortable (I think Double sized) bed.The Room was very clean and well furnished with a dishwasher, small fridge and a microwave (but no dishes or utensils so bring your own).Nearby activities: The lobster fest and downtown were easily accessible by car. Far enough for quiet lodging and close enough to return midday for a nap!

The pool area is 89 degrees. It is so miserable in there, like sitting in a sauna! Front desk refuses to turn down the heat and won t let you crack the door to the outside to get some relief when you feel like passing out! I woke up feeling horrible! My sinuses are killing me! My kids want to go in the pool so bad but I really can t stand to sit in there for more than 10 minutes!! Breakfast was good, room was clean but if you want to use the pool, find another hotel.

Our family lives in St. George, Maine and we stayed in the Hampton Inn in Rockland and couldn't have been happier. Everything from the staff to the cleanliness of the room as well as the whole hotel was very nice.

It's a great hotel, Good location I really wanted to give them 5 stars but they require a 20 dollar hold on a credit card. I called in advance to ask if there was any fees or deposit needed when we checked in. They said there would not be. Well when we checked in we had to put a card on file with a $20 hold. Not a deal breaker but would have been nice to know in advance. This is a great place to stay. I really wanted to give them 5 stars.

Hotel staff was excellent but the hotel itself is in desperate need of updating. The finish on the bathroom vanity was peeling off. The air conditioning was either at full blast or off - the controls didn't seem to work to lower the power/temperature.

Usually pretty good, last stay, room smelled of smoke and heat/ac was problematic.EDIT: After a survey response and this review, Hampton Inn personally contacted me and swiftly assured me they were working to correct the situation that led to these issues. They also gave me some points for my account for future stays, so I consider this issue resolved and was pleased that they seem to be trying to remedy the situation that led to a less than perfect stay.I'd also add that I haven't had issues with previous stays at this location.

For a $30 a night hotel it would be totally acceptable but for a $130 a night hotel, it was pretty bad. Everything, on the surface, is very nice but the things that matter to me (functionality) were mostly aweful. The bed was good but the sheets and comforter were very itchy, they had hair on them when I got in, and the pillows you're given are either, sink in so far you suffocate, or sink in so far you nearly suffocate. Thankfully the bed was soft so not using pillows was acceptable. The heat controls only went down to 65 F and they were totally useless if you wanted to have the fan on at all times, which completely overrides the temperature control and drove the heat up to 80 or down to 40 depending which mode the system was in when you turned the fan on. It's very easy to program a system to leave the fan on at all times while also controlling temperature, so I don't know why such an expensive place hasn't done this. It was quick to respond and heat/cool the room, though.Amazing shower but no shelves for things and a baffling dumb door that opens a full 180 degrees dumping water all over the bathroom floor from a lip that makes anywhere but the floor completely useless for placing toiletries. It was also very loud and I could hear at least 3 people above me in separate rooms until very late at night.Breakfast was terrible and not even worthy of a $5 diner.I would stay here if it was cheap but not over $40 per night
