I've used Hodgdon for a couple of years to launch and haul my 25ft sailboat. I can't recommend them enough. I usually have a tight timeline since I rent a UHaul to bring the boat out from my home. They have always launched her in a timely fashion, enabling me to return the truck on time. The folks there are friendly, easy-going, and competent. I have always been billed fairly. I have used other boatyards. This is my favorite.

We stopped here to get some rig work done on our sailboat (see review for Maloney Rigging). This stop was exactly what our family needed. I've never met so many friendly people all in one place. The crew at Hogdgon is like a big family and they welcome you in with open arms. We were able to get fuel and water, pumpout, take hot showers and use the wi-fi. They also lent us a courtesy vehicle so we could hop into town to get some much needed groceries. They were very kind and helpful and gave us some tips and tricks for the rest of our journey north to Canada. A big THANK YOU to Laura, Amy, Ted, Ashley and the rest of the crew at Hodgdon !

This boatyard experience will be one of the highlights of our trip up the East Coast. Having spent a few days in Boothbay we left and were motoring on until the temperature alarm went off. Seatow took us to this marina in Southport for repairs. We arrived late on Friday afternoon and learned that we would need to wait until Monday before they could look at our problem. We were placed on a floating dock and offered to use their courtesy car over the weekend. First, the setting is absolutely beautiful. It is quiet, protected, with very nice amenities including showers and laundry. Everyone we met was extremely nice. We discovered a fabulous restaurant called Robertsons that was more of a local venue than a tourist trap. There is a general store within walking distance. Although our boat had broken down you would think that would've caused us some distress but, given how gracious the boatyard accommodated us, it all went extremely well and we were very grateful to have had the opportunity to see Southport. On Monday morning their mechanic arrived and resolved our issue promptly. We fueled up and pumped out before leaving. I cannot recommend this boatyard enough! We stayed on one of the Hodgdon moorings recently. This has to be one of the best run, cared for marinas that we have visited in our 7 seasons cruising. Very friendly and helpful staff combined with the beautiful surroundings make this a must-stop location if you are in the Boothbay region.

A true gem in the Crown of the Maine coast.... A short ride up the sheepscot river and you can tuck into Ebenecook harbor where you'll find shelter from the Atlantic winds and a clean and friendly Marina..... With numerous deep water moorings for visiting Vessels and lots of Dockage for fuel and pump out as well as a fully staffed and skilled technical team.... This is an example of a Marina done correctly and on any given day you'll find the owner Mr. Tim Hodgdon At the Marina working side-by-side with his group of talented employees.... He and his staff are always willing to stop what they're doing to help you with your needs.... I've never left HYS Disappointed and I know for sure that you won't either...

Incredibly friendly staff, sheltered harbor wth moorings for transient boaters. Shower facilities. Parts shop. Fuel.
