Just bought our second car from Village Motors. No pressure very friendly and knowledgeable sales department. 3 weeks after buying our second car the battery died on a cold morning. Called Village Motors and explained to them what happed. Within 2 hours they went to my house and replaced the battery no questions asked. Great service.

Amazing service and staff! I purchased a car from them back in September and had brake problems while driving, I was close by so I stopped in to ask some questions and they took care of me right away. Phil put me in a loaner car immediately and worked with my extended warranty I have through my credit union and I had my car back within a few days.Friendly, professional, and just great people, highly recommend!

Have been going to Village for a long time. In my experience, they are ALWAYS excellent in communicating with me, open and honest about anything going on with my car. They ve also been exceptionally quick in terms of getting my car back on the road. Depending on what a car needs, prices of course can widely vary, but at no point has Village presented me with a bill I ve found too expensive for the work they ve performed, especially given the quality. I d recommend Village to anybody looking for quality work done on their automobile, I ve never once been let down.8/24/23-Still a fantastic group a Village, recently were very upfront and clear about when they d be able to work on my car due to lots of other work going on. Car was done exactly when I was first told, and as always, great results-can t recommend Village Motors enough, excellent work.

My wife and I drove about an hour to test drive a vehicle we were interested in. Prior to me test driving the vehicle, the part owner/salesman stated if I felt a vibration not to worry it will be addressed during the service/inspection. Following the test drive I confirmed that there was in fact a pulsation when braking. He told me rust and corrosion from sitting can cause that, but again to not worry, it will be taken care of during the service. We made a deal and drove home to wait for the service to be completed within the next few days. My wife picked the vehicle up a few days later and said there was still a vibration. We figured we would give it a few days to come out of it, but it never did. A week after bringing the car home I called my mechanic to have the issue addressed, instead of driving it an hour back to village motors with bad brakes. My mechanic told me there was a seized caliper on the right, and both sides were very corroded and the vehicle needed front end brake job. Any good mechanic will recommend both sides be replaced at the same time, especially since vehicle has 108k miles, and it is definitely time for brakes. I called village motors back and they told me there was no discernable issue with the brakes when it left their shop, and that it probably happened in the less than 2 weeks we had the car. I spent half a day back and forth with both owners. They didn't want to remedy the situation, and kept trying to cover it up. After a couple heated conversations they eventually made it right by paying for the brake job which should have been done before it ever left their lot. Unfortunately, money doesn't buy respect or trust. If they would have just paid for it right away instead of denying there was an issue, this review would have been much different. I will never do business with them again.Bottom line is I was told the pulsation in the brakes would be resolved prior to bringing the car home, and that was not honored. All this could have been avoided if they had done what they promised.

Fair and reasonable prices, great mechanics did a great job! My car has never driven better than it does now. I initially left a review concerning communication but Village Motors had addressed my concerns with a response with an explanation that they are short staffed and have been extremely busy. Thank you for your hard work and I will certainly come back in the future for needed repairs.

Village Motors was a great find. They worked diligently to find a solution to a mysterious problem with my car. They were up front about the possibility that they may not be able to solve it. But they did! The staff is friendly, the facility is clean and comfortable, service is prompt. And they always follow up to ensure I am happy with their service. I travel out of town to have them service my 2005 vehicle! I can t imagine taking it anywhere other than Village Motors.

I have been having my cars serviced at Village Motors for twenty years. My vehicles are fixed the first time every time. I have never had to bring them back for work not done. The people are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They have also been very responsive to my concerns and I am grateful for that. If you want quality work done on your vehicle, at an extremely fair price, go to Village Motors. You won t be sorry!

Village Motors has been a pleasure to do business with. They are flexible with their scheduling options. Service estimates have come back in line with initial. They offer loaner cars, with a busy schedule, is extremely helpful. Can't say enough about my experiences with everyone at Village Motors, they have been above and beyond. Glad to be able to do business locally!

UPDATE: Phil called me and offered me a fair compromise. I was very unhappy with the original outcome but Phil made the effort to make it right and I appreciate it.I brought my car in for an oil change and was told my back tires were worn down to the cord. I reminded them that THEY put on 4 new tires just 4 months ago. I was then told that I would have to bring my car back in to be able to put it on the rack to find out why this happened and that I "would be taken care of." The day they put the new tires on my car, I was told by Phil that I would have to pay for all 4 tires, the mount and balance, etc etc. Phil insisted him and his team had no idea why this would have happened and the alignment was correct 4 months ago when I left their lot. I just took a look at the old paperwork and it clearly shows the alignment on my back tire had a -2.1 camber so they did not send me off the lot with an aligned car 4 months ago.

This was my first visit and my last! I bought a used cargo 2 months ago which I have been happy with. It took several phone calls and they found what I was looking for, and we settled on a price. Now the fun begins....initially I was was going to trade my current van, but was able to sell it the day before I was scheduled to pick up the new one. My wife and I drove the three hours and along the way I phoned to let them know I was not trading anything, nor was I financing so I asked the sales guy if they would take $100.00 off since this sale was going to be simplified A quick answer of NO came over the speaker! I felt obligated at that point so we continued on even though my wife said "I don't like that guy!' We arrived, took the van for a ride and made the purchase. At that time I noticed there was no spare tire and the sales guy says "when was the last time you had a flat? and "they don't usually come with a spare." Another identical van on the lot HAD a spare and it was put on the van I just purchased. Also, dealer kindly installed 4 pads and rotors and when I got home I discovered the E brake did not work. Don't you think it should have been checked by the mechanic who installed the pads and rotors?? After a phone call they were nice enough to allow me to go to a local garage (remember I live three hours away) which they kindly paid for. My biggest issue is after a major purchase of $23,000 not one follow up phone call! Service, appreciation for business.....poor!!!

I have purchased several vehicles from this dealer. The owner, the service manager, the lead sales guy, the front desk staff, and the shop guys have always delivered consistent, honest, conscientious service to me and my family. When I have had work done by their shop, the pricing has been competitive and the quality was top-notch. They have made loaners available to me when I could have been told to walk or get a rental. And I have never been charged document fees!I have recommended them to friends needing service and vehicles and have never been given a reason to change my mind. Village Motors, their owner, and their staff always deliver exemplary service. Thanks!

Had to get a vehicle fixed before a long drive across the country for a funeral. They got me in fast repaired and didn't find "extra" stuff. Very trustworthy people. Thank you village motors

I had a car detailed here and Tim did an AMAZING job!! I'm very happy with the work. I have been very impressed with all of the folks at Village Motors -- Dan the salesperson is very accommodating, thorough, responsive and hardworking, and Kelly the receptionist does a fantastic job. I brought both of our Honda Civics here for inspection after having a coworker recommend Village Motors! The front desk lady was super kind and the work done on our cars was quick and efficient! I will certainly continue to bring my cars here for the work they need as long as Im in the area! Thank you guys for getting our cars safely back on the road!

Great service, outstanding honesty, fair prices. I originally was interested in trading my truck for another truck on the lot that needed work. The staff was completely up front and honest about the work that was needed and they offered me a very fair trade on my truck. After talking about the truck s condition I decided that it was more work than I wanted to do but they still bought my truck out right and wrote me a check that evening. Highly recommend this place and will be back to buy another truck in the future.

Perfect work, great value. So good that I even drove out of my way to come to them. It's a well managed shop with skilled mechanics. I have a 1994 small pickup and they are willing to find the parts. Their underside oil-spray for rust protection is the best I've found.

Had a great experience buying a used car at Village Motors for my daughter. It has been a few months since the purchase and the car which was a modestly priced Scion has performed flawlessly. Better yet was the way the entire staff treated us, it was a great experience with no stress or pressure. We will certainly be back and we will recommend to family, friends and clients.

Bought my new Chevy pickup here and the attention to detail was impeccable. Everyone was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful during the process. The sales manager Dan even stayed late on a Saturday so I could pickup my truck since I was running behind. All in all a great experience and I would refer anyone to visit Village Motors if they are looking for a new vehicle.

We found our car, there, today and very pleased. I was extremely confused, nervous & worried about buying a car and Andy, put my husband and myself, right at ease. My husband was pleased, also and he's very picky. Dan, also, helped me with the financial part, which I'm very bad at and so I could understand easily. As senior citizens we are always concerned about being scammed. Don't think anyone has to worry when they go to Village Motors. We recommend them highly.

I have had 2 great experiences with Dan at Village Motors. Easy process, friendly staff, and I've been happy with both vehicles. I don't like to waste time going back and forth on pricing and financing - and typical car sales stunts - none of that here just simple and fair.

Village Motors staff are always courteous and take time to explain required repairs. All workmanship is top notch. And they don t try to do extra work just to charge you more. I have always found them to be honest and trustworthy. I would recommend Village Motors to anyone looking for a honest hard working mechanic.

My girlfriend bought a car from Village Motors last year and she was able to purchase a nice little car for a reasonable price. She's had a couple of relatively minor issues with the car, as one expects with a high mileage older model, but Village Motors has been there with very reasonable priced maintenance and replairs. Our experience has been nothing but positive.

Highly recommend the service and sales crew for the overall car buying and ownership experience . Recently had an unusual mechanical problem that you would just not expect 7 months into ownership on a 4 year old car and although the business had absolutely no legal obligation to step up and address the issue- that is exactly what happened and to my complete satisfaction . Only in small town Maine I might add!

I'm very unhappy with Village Motors. We heard such great things and we had a terrible experience. We had to call them more than once because they didn't get back to us. We sent them everything they asked for and they responded that they got our emails or gave us a call back stating they got it and they were working on it. We ended up going to another Dealership. They helped us right away and we had a car in less than 24rhs. Its been a week and we still have not received anything from anyone at Village Motors. We're very happy with the car and Dealership we went through instead. its too bad because now we will never try to buy a car from Village Motors after the terrible communication.

This is how service should be. Been coming here for service for a couple years now and am always treated right. Everything is explained clearly and I've been shown exactly what is wrong on several occasions. They are honest and I've been told when work doesn't need to be done (try getting that at a dealer). I've even brought my own parts with no issues. I usually deal with Phil and he's very down to earth and knowledgeable. Detailer does a good job too. I haven't purchased a car here but have a friend that did and she also had a good experience.

I have nothing but positives to say about Village Motors. We were treated like family the moment we entered the front door. They suggested we test drive two different vehicles and ended up buying a Toyota Camry. Service has been friendly and professional. I highly recommend Village Motors.
