I owned a 2014 VW Beetle that I was contemplating trading in, I wanted a Mercedes but didnt know which model or if Id even get financing for it. (Ive been working on rebuilding my credit for the past year) Ed Weeks was the salesman that helped me. I originally looked at an e350 sedan and it ended up having electrical problems, so Ed found me a C300 to test drive instead. I drove it and immediately fell in love with the car. As soon as I got back he had run numbers and gave me financing options for that car. It was surprisingly very affordable, and I ended up driving the car home that night. Ed was fantastic at making sure I got the help I needed with navigating all the functions in my new car and with setting up additional features (like remote start). The payoff on my beetle was taking a while due to holidays and their corporate office being in TX, I had called numerous times to get updates on the payoff for my VW Beetle, and Spencer the sales manager was INCREDIBLY helpful. He even went as far as calling my bank and asking them to locate the payoff. After he spoke with my bank, my car payoff was taken care of and I was immediately refunded the additional payments I had made. Whomever Spencer s boss is, I hope they read this review because that man deserves a raise! He did something that was not his job, went above and beyond for me, and made sure to call me back with updates and made me feel heard and validated. As with anything, hiccups can occur, but both Ed and Spencer were nothing short of phenomenal with how helpful they were. Thank you both so much!!

I have been a Prime customer for more than 10 years. I have always been treated with dignity and respect and my current Service Manager, Scott Joys, is the Best. The other day one of my tires blew out on the expressway. I had no appointment but Scott arranged a loaner for me as I live about 45 miles away. He also noticed that my inspection was due along with an oil change. The next day I picked up my repaired car. At Prime I am treated as a valued customer.Scott anticipates my needs to minimize my trips for repair. I always feel like Scott looks out for me as much as he does for Prime, By the way, I drive a 10+ year old E350 convertible with well over 100,000 miles, no longer under warranty.l

From The General Manager to the Lot Attendant, every employee Ive had the honor of meeting has completely surpassed my expectations. Not only do I deliver vehicles to the service department as a Towing Company ( Wrecker & Crew Towing) I also own a Mercedes GLK350 and highly recommend this Dealership for Sales & Service!

Worst car dealership I ve ever dealt with. Service department doesn t answer their phones , respond to online requests, or communicate in any meaningful way. Technicians are not knowledgeable. Brought my vehicle in for a services, where I was quoted $3800. The same repairs were completed for under $500 at more knowledgeable and helpful local European car service shop. Sales department is equally terrible. Went in, very intent on purchasing a GLB and the Sales rep we dealt with was very committed to selling us a more expensive model. We had to fight with him to see the vehicle we came in to buy. Glad we walked out. This is your typical low end sleazy car dealership. Don t be fooled by the fancy cars and leather chairs. You will not receive helpful sales or service. Avoid at all costs. Mercedes claims to offer The best or nothing . I would strongly advise you to choose nothing.

I really didn t expect to be leaving a review for Mercedes-Benz. I have an older camper van that needed their expertise after my inexperience caused a big problem. They were friendly supportive and help me navigate a potentially very expensive repair and gave me great advice that allowed me to claim the lions share of the damage done to my vehicle Insurance. They were patient, professional, and I cannot say enough about how great it was to get to know the people there. Huge shout out to Dave who was with me every step of the way and never laughed at my auto stupidity once. he certainly had every right to. Thanks to everybody there who got me out of a huge mess.

When not every Mercedes dealership service department is capable of, or even wants to take on Sprinter van work. Mercedes-Benz Scarborough has met and exceeded our expectations of any dealership service department. They were well staffed with competent, knowledgeable, and intelligent mechanics. You will pay for these attributes, but they were fair and honest with us every step of the way.

We were very pleased with our experience. We did everything 100% online, aside from picking up the car at the dealership-such a nice option especially if you know exactly what you want. Everyone we met was very kind and helpful. The car was also delivered in pristine condition. Thank you!!

The best service experience I have ever had. My car was scheduled for 40k service. The center did not see my booking coupon but did reduce price for me despite my not being able to find the coupon. There were warm and cold beverages and comfortable seating in the temporary area being used due to dealership s construction. I was offered a ride anywhere. I did wander the lot and bumped into the photographer who was also in the lot. She was friendly, offered to help answer questions, she went above and beyond. My vehicle was ready on time. There was zero discussion on something extra I needed to do or buy. My car was freshly washed inside and out. Cost was less than expected, too. Best experience with staff at a service center ever!!

Not a great experience. Quoted 275. For alignment, charged 475. No computer print out of alignment specs. Bill actually states, "adjusted to the best of abilities. Camber adjusted as close as it could get, but still a hair out of spec." How's that for German engineering?

Outstanding buying experience!! Very knowledgeable and accommodating and easy, fast transaction. Sydney did a fabulous job communicating and has great knowledge about the cars. A real pleasure to work with. Spencer had all the paperwork lined up and it was a quick and easy close. Very happy!!

I took my Sprinter in for service A on 12/4. At the time, the technician recommended replacing the rear rotors and pads, which seemed appropriate and I agreed to the work. Driving off the lot I noticed right away a loud squealing sound from the rear brakes.I tried to schedule another appointment for the technician to take a look, which was scheduled for 2/9. During this appointment, I asked for a State Inspection in addition to the brake problem.I hadn't heard from the service advisor for days, so I called to check on the status. I talked with someone "Dave?" who read through the notes from the technician who reported, "Calipers move freely" The service advisor said, "All Mercedes brakes squeal." When I picked up the sprinter, I noticed in the service notes that it had the same mileage in and out. It was unusual as I assumed they would road-test to replicate the squealing sound. Humm.......As for the State of Maine Inspection, that was completed, and a new sticker was affixed to the windshield. However, the expired sticker wasn't removed. Now I have two stickers on the windshield. No big deal to remove the expired one but I think it's part of the State inspection protocol to remove the old sticker.I've lived in Maine most of my life, bought many cars from this dealership, and had them serviced there as well. I have never had two stickers. on the windshield at the same time, and I have never had a brake squealing problem after a repair.

I have deep regrets buying two vehicles from Mercedes Scarborough (at the same time). The day of the purchase people couldn t have been nicer. I had no idea I was being taken advantage of. Lots of expensive add-ons that I said I didn t want. No return phone calls or emails for months. Finally heard from the manager who told me there is nothing they will do to rectify the situation. I got swindled! I have never experienced these kind of practices. I have worked with the Lexus and Audi dealerships in the area and they were amazing. As I ask around, I m learning that this is a common practice of this dealership.

Excellent customer service. Neal, the service guy there, made me feel relaxed with no pressure and comfortable. He walked me through every detail without pressuring me into anything. He was very informative and even kinder to my daughters. Definitely look forward to working with him again on my service needs.

Always 5 star service, but this is the third time telling them I need a back hatch emblem 1 phone call and 2 service emails. Still no emblem. Obviously not catastrophic but looks kind of silly going down the road.

Very easy buying process! The sales staffs well educated on all models and options. Our business needed a new van and they were the lowest price in Maine for any van. Sales manager and business manager were also very helpful and nice to deal with. Will be back for another one

We were on holiday from Toronto. We lost a brake pad and needed new pads and rotors to continue with our vacation and to get home. When called on Wednesday, the service staff were more than helpful checking they had the part and squeezing us in Friday morning. We were on the road again by lunchtime. I can't thank the staff enough for ensuring we could continue our vacation and ride home.

Worse place to bring you car hiked up prices they did a recall on my car they had to take off my exhaust fyi they didn t even explain all of that to me before I reach and even when I did go to pick up my car key was just handed I had to take notice that my exhaust was off and start complaining they didn t even care .They try to price me for other things I wasn t going to pay them so much money for a job my mechanic does very well for less theyLike most honestly they charge 3x what my mechanic is charging me that s robbery you already keep a price on your vehiclesThis is so dumb why would u make a product but charge so much to fix it ? But other people charge way less no lie you guys sucks

I lease a GLA 250 and my lease is due up. I can either buy it or release. I reached out to this Mercedes to see what they could do for me and was told my lease has no value to it even though it under miles and in great shape and they suggest that I turn it back in. What an insult from them!I ll look into another company that wants my business and what s me as a loyal customer to have me back and keep leasing with them.

We scheduled a standard service for one of our Sprinter vans. We usually use a dealership further away but decided to give Scarborough a try. The soonest appointment they had was almost two months out. The day finally came and we dropped off the van on Friday for the appointment the following day. They called me later on Friday to tell me the normal Service B was going to be $2200, which is crazy for a one year old Sprinter. They called me the next day and said now they couldn t do the service we had scheduled until the following Wednesday. We re picking up the van and taking it somewhere else. This whole thing has been a waste of time. We will definitely not bring any of our Sprinters here again. Do yourself a favor and don t buy a Sprinter or use this dealership.

Bought a 2016 WRX from these guys yesterday on 9/11/23. My salesman Christian was stellar, super easy-going, low pressure, willing to negotiate on the price, awesome experience with him he gets 5 stars from me & deserves a fat raise! I give the dealership itself a 3 star, after filling out paperwork I was told they would have the title in 5-7 days, ended up waiting about 3 weeks. Not the salesman's fault, not necessarily the dealership's fault either, I blame the previous lien holder. Overall good experience 4 stars from me, if you plan on coming here ask for Christian!

Sometimes working out of trailers isn t great for everyone. My job order was setting on Mohammed s desk for 20 minutes while I was told my car was being washed. I took the ticket off his desk and got another service tech to handle the payment. My car wasn t being washed. It was sitting locked behind the building. I obtained my keys from the young man assigned to wash it who was more interested in what was playing through his headphones. I have had mostly good luck with this dealership. Just not today. Praying I won t need to service car again before they finish the work on their buildingNote: the service manager, Nicholas Dargie, followed up with me twice after this incident. They are working through the construction disruption. I appreciated his concern and outreach.

I really enjoyed working with the Mercedes Benz of Scarborough dealership. Especially Matthew Benson, our sales person. The whole team was professional and courteous. They were responsive and straightforward. A great experience and I would definitely purchase another vehicle from the dealership.

Took my 2019 airstream interstate GT in for new water pump and macerator as well as several other repairs. These guys did a great job. Everything now works!! Asked them to put a Prime Motor Cars plate on the front which they did because I have no problem advertising for folks who do such good work
