E&S are great! We were driving through Portland and needed to find a mechanic to look into a noise coming from my suspension and fix wrapped rotors. They diagnosed the issue and were able to get me back on the road as soon as possible.They were honest about the work I needed and the prices were fair. I'll be taking my car here again if I'm ever in the area again.

Love this place! All friendly mechanics are providing expert services in including oil changes, brakes, battery, engine, and so on. Cityside by E&S Auto shop looks very organized, clean, and very excellent service. All mechanics are trustworthy and friendly. They have a lot of experiences and technical skills. They also have done many great jobs of maintaining and repairing cars for every old and new customers. Best mechanic shop I have ever dealt with. They are professional, honest, and their work is perfect. We have been going here since they opened and have referred multiple friends and neighbors who all now use this garage exclusively. There s a reason for that.Don t go anywhere else. Seriously, stop looking at any other reviews and call them.

Quoted my Daughter an outrageous price to replace an alternator. AAA towed her there. Kept the car for a week. Charged her for a diagnosis. I had the car towed back to my house and fixed it myself for a fraction. Padded up the bill (in my opinion) with other unnecessary repairs. I read the Google reviews and figured this place must be pretty good. I was wrong. This place is freakin outstanding! The Volvo I dropped off compared to the Volvo I picked up after it was worked on, was night and day. After I got home I had to check the VIN to make sure it was mine. Wow, just wow. Should any more issues arise with my Volvo, I know where it's going to get fixed.Professional, personable, quality work with clear explanations of what was wrong and how it was fixed. I went to Edwin after a friend had recommended him to me. I can't believe the service and experience Edwin is a very friendly, honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable mechanic and a heck of a lot cheaper. I went to him for a very expensive repair to my car. My old mechanic, now, whom I've gone to for 10 years+ gave me an estimate for the repair which was going to be over $1,500. Edwin found the same problems, but the total bill for same exact repair came in at just under $1,200. I now have a new mechanic and is name is Edwin, such quality service and at very reasonable price. I am very impressed and trusted him immediately after meeting him.

After years of my brother being my mechanic, I was super worried about finding a new spot when I moved to Maine. My husband happened upon these guys when his car broke down nearby, and I am so happy he did. Suhki works hard to find the right parts at the right price, and he happily explains every detail so you know exactly what is happening and why. Everyone else at the shop I ve spoken to is knowledgable and friendly. I worry so much about my car and they always go above and beyond expectations.

Edwin is great to work with! He is the most HONEST, reliable and experienced auto mechanic I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He knows his stuff when it comes to all things to do with foreign/domestic autos. He's passionate about his work and will easily explain to you what needs to be fixed and why, and best of all, will only charge you for what really needs to be repaired at a very competitive rate. Give his expertise a try, you will not be disappointed.

Hands down best experience I've ever had while getting work done on my car. Let me preface this by saying that I know very little about cars. I got in a bit of a fender bender and was expectedly quite rattled. I took my vehicle here and got an education about my problem, on top of excellent service! I cannot reccomend this place enough. Edwin and Sukhi are great mechanics, and overall just really good guys. I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone who wants good, fair service.

I highly recommend E&S Auto Repair. I have known Edwin for a very long time personally as well as professionally and I trust him with my vehicles. He is always honest and works to find me the best prices. He is efficient and thorough with his work.

These guys are REALLY great! I called several times trying to find an old Volvo and every single time Brent was helpful and polite. Not a dime in it for him. Well eventually I found one that he checked out for me and now I take it to him for repairs. My mom ended up buying one from him that she LOVES. Brent was consistently professional and genuine, covering every detail and answering her extensive:) list of questions.... Great place.

I took my vehicle for repair to the E&S and had nothing but exceptional customer service experience. From the time I arrived and got checked in, to the time I left, my experience was grate. I took my car to few other shops for quotes and E&S was the one that I choose due to the quality and reliability of parts they use. Thank you guys and I most definitely will be back.

Took my daughters car into Cityside by E&S to look into a traction control trouble light that wouldn t go out and would cause the car to fail Maine s annual inspection. Earlier she had gone to the local Ford dealership but they couldn t correct the issue. Brought the car into Cityside and they were able to diagnose and correct the problem in a few hours. Met both Edwin and Sukki and both guys were easy going and went out of their way to explain the problem and solution. They have a new customer.

I will echo all the other reviews, and say that these guys are honest, and straightforward!! They will look for ways to help you out, rather than trying to pressure you into things. My vehicle has a few issues, and they were very helpful with pointing out what needs to be done now, and what could possibly wait a few months. Just go see them, they are fantastic!!!

I had pre purchase inspection done today. Superb customer service. Very thorough. Explained everything to me Never made me feel like I was asking stupid questions. Very reasonable. Spotless shop. Super nice knowledgeable folks. Will be my go to shop from now on.

I ve been to a bunch of car places for my volkswagon and I ve finally found a good one! They are so friendly here, always try to get you in right away, and offer the best prices. They really walk you through what s going on with your car and give honest opinions. I highly recommend!

If you're looking for EXPERT SERVICE, HONESTY and TRUSTWORTHINESS, then this is the ONLY place you'll want to take your car. Edwin has been working on my VW for over 8 years. Every interaction with him has been honest, reasonably priced, pleasant, efficient and professional. Several times over the years, I thought something major was wrong with my car only to be told it was something very minor (and inexpensive). How often does that happen? Not often. He has integrity and will always do what is best for your wallet and your car. I trust his professional judgment 100%. DO NOT take your car to a dealer. Edwin has had been to all the VW schools and has worked for a local VW dealer for many years. He knows his VW's (and other cars). You'll get excellent, expert service at half the price. Once you take your car here you will never go to another mechanic. Sincerely, Jason

For the rest of the time that I live in Maine, I will always bring my cars here. I had something wrong with my exhaust along with other things, Edwin literally brought me into the shop and showed me what was wrong. I have learned a lot about cars because they explain everything in detail. Suki is very diligent with follow ups. He called me just before closing to let know what's going on with the car. Tell your friends and family about them!

These guys are totally focused on providing great service for your car. Clear about what is needed, and what is not needed and what to keep an eye on, they are a perfect choice for a used vehicle and at a fraction of the cost of most dealers. Highly recommended!

I have an old beater that I used to go up north in the county, 143,000 miles on it, it was leaking some anti-freeze, so I brought it to Cityside Auto Service. Brent explain what he was going to do , what I should do and implications if I did or didn't do what he recommended. I went with his recommendations all I will say is you don't find customer service like that anymore those people are very professional if you need a ride they'll give you a ride, and one of the really really nice things about them if you need something done for the most part at least with my two experiences with them you didn't need an appointment, now that may have been timing I don't know, all I will say is A+++++ service. Thank you Brent and Justin.

Amazing auto repair shop! They went out of their way to get my car repaired quickly and accommodated an inconvenient tow from out of town. The work was great, their prices are fair, and they offer superior customer service!
